Absolutely amazing service! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I brought in my Dodger jersey with a pretty bad ketchup stain, and I was honestly worried it would leave an oil mark. I will not return! My two black sweaters still had particles on the front and sleeves from the last wear...appears to be only pressed and folded on hangers. They were not dry cleaned, as I was charged for! My expensive Eileen Fisher slacks were washed, not dry cleaned, and are now ruined. They're now thin, misshapen and shrunk 2 inches in length. You couldn't even press the creases back in them. The $39 loss for nonexhistant "dry cleaning" is bad enough but the loss of $160 pants is inexcusable. read more

Saw good reviews on Yelp thought I'd give them a try with my heming my daughters prom dress. Went to pick it up the day before and there was a sign they closed early. Needless to say panic set in. This is a mom and pop shop. Very friendly but if you have a hectic schedule the hours might not work out for you The owners saw the Yelp review and immediately contacted me. My husband and I have tried 3 different dry cleaners in Simi Valley before we were lucky enough to find this company. They do excellent work and are very prompt. We use them weekly and our clothes are always clean and pressed. Red wine, grass, chocolate, grease, ink and blood stains were all taken care of as if they weren't there. (We're messy people!). I've seen them treated poorly by customers who talk down to them, yell at them because they want to, an air of arrogance, (you know the type), and this hard-working couple still treat them with a smile. I don't know how they do it. Their customer service is exemplary. We are always greeted quickly and courteously. We've used them for their seamstress and embroidery talents as well. They've had our business for over 14 years and without a doubt, are the best dry cleaners in Simi Valley. I highly recommend this company to take care of your dry cleaning needs. Where do I even start. So I needed some suit pants tapered and lengthened, and mind you, this was a rush order for a formal event the following Wednesday. This also happened to be my first interaction with Tailormade Cleaners ever. I drop in on a Friday, get measured and advised on the lengths and work required, and was informed that they would be ready on the following Tuesday. I was not able to pick up my items on Tuesday due to an emergency. The very next day, multiple fires break out, and the power is shut off at the cleaners and the entire east end of Simi. I stopped by at 9am and the owner told me that I would not be able to get my pants until the power returned. I was incredibly distraught and worried. I came back on my lunch and found a sign posted with a business email address should I need immediate assistance, and of course I emailed the owners right away with my tag number and cell phone number. Within 25 minutes, a representative called me and told me the owners had returned to the store, found my pants, and were WAITING for me to come get them. I sped over and they were waiting for me, pants in hand at the door. I was absolutely blown away by the level of service and kindness displayed by the owners, and on top of that, their work was top notch! They were under NO obligation to go out of their way and inconvenience themselves for a first time customer, but they did anyways. I can't recommend Tailormade enough, and they have earned a lifetime customer. read more

Disappointed with all the great reviews, I decided to give this place a try . My dog threw up on my comforter and the power was out at my house so I obviously couldn't wash it , which I've done several times . I went in and lady that was "helping" me said it was going to be $75. I couldn't bring myself to pay that and then she suggested I buy a new comforter! It's an expensive comforter, I'm not just going to buy a new one when I wash it every week . I just that the lady was ridiculous and rude ! read more

Absolute perfection! I come here to get my dresses dry-cleaned EVERY SINGLE TIME I need them. I have white dresses, dresses with lace, black dresses, multi-colored dresses, etc. I bring them in and receive them back looking so beautiful and like new every time, and you really can't beat the price and time! They are open early and late and I can pick up my dresses within a couple days at the longest wait. I have been using Tailormade for about 3 years. They have good prices and do a great job with completing dry cleaning and laundry on time. They have also been able to get out some tough stains as well. The best had to be when my wife turned my Datsyuk winter classic hockey jersey a various shades of pink. I was literally going to throw a $200 jersey in the trash. They were able to remove the pink from all of the white areas without changing the shade of red either. I took my boyfriend's Hugo Boss suit which had been through two weddings and a t-shirt that had brought back a few stains from a weekend in Vegas and both were returned good as new! Tailormade is a great dry cleaner! The great customer service and attention to detail is much appreciated in a Dry Cleaner. They consistently press our clothes perfectly and use tissue to hold the collars in place as well as separators for our folded sweaters...it's as close as you can get to french laundry service in Simi Valley. They used to be located in a different location, and they are so good that we followed them to the new location (even tho it's further from our house) because of how great they are!
