I went in on a late Friday afternoon and needed a suit dry cleaned by noon the next day. I had gone to three other places and everyone rejected me. The owner of this place immediately said yes no problem. I'll get it done. The next day I came in at noon to get the suit and I thanked him profusely for how grateful I was that he got it done in time. He kindly shared with me that they don't turn on the dry cleaning machine on Saturdays and they turned it off after I came in late Friday. So he drove to Camarillo to make sure it got done and brought it back the next morning for me. He said he always will say yes and make it happen. I took some slacks I needed cleaned for a wedding. Turn around time was 4 days and I needed them sooner than that due to not being off work till 11pm. The kind owner said he could have It done by Wednesday! (In 2 days) the prices are fair (7 bucks per item) I also heard they cleaned hats so I brought 3 with me. Will definitely be going back again! I'll admit now that I've never been inside any dry cleaners before. This place was definitely clean and organized. I had two suits and an extremely dirty dress dry cleaned. One of the suits had a gnarly oil stain on the lapel and the bottom of the dress looked like someone went hiking in it. Tony saw it both and all the suits and dress looked brand new. I am not familiar with the pricing of dry cleaners but it was $15 for my suit and $25 for the dress. One of my suits was a three-piece which ended up being $20. It's hard to see myself going to another spot when this place did a tremendous job cleaning my suits. I wear suits often so I don't get them cleaned often but when I do, I'll definitely be back. read more

Their integrity is excellent If they are not able to fulfill your request they will let you know, they will contact you if there is a problem or issue with whatever you bring in to them. They have done repairs, alterations, washed slipcovers, there is pretty much nothing they can't do. They'll even disclose if they have to outsource anything. Their work is impeccable! Towne Cleaners is the only place I'll go to for dry cleaning and wardrobe alterations. Nancy the tailor is fantastic! There's a little curtained off area in the store where you can change, and she can see where to hem or pin. But I've also just dropped off my clothes with instructions to "hem three inches" and my pants come back exactly the way I want them. She's a very talented seamstress and the only one I trust to alter my clothes. Since I'm short, I often have to hem my pants. Tom and Nancy were the best! I was a customer for 20 plus years. I gave the new owner a chance until he was offensive and rude. Prices increased only for service to decline. I've had pants returned to me without alternations being done. I dropped off an expensive jacket only to have it returned with giant fuzz balls all over it. I went in today to drop off my work pants. The seams on the hip are stretched out and I asked him to double stitch the seams. He told me they would eventually rip even if he double stitched them. I asked him to do it anyway. He proceeded to tell me, "the problem is, is that you need to lose weight" HOW RUDE!!! OFFENSIVE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I never understood why I couldn't find a cleaners that provided a service in which they charged far too much for. At Towne, they are reasonably priced and will even get you a quote, should they have to send out the item. I used to love Towne cleaners, under the new ownership I am less than impressed. To start, I was greeted by cold, unfriendly staff. All I requested was a simple hem and was treated in a way that left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. However, I decided to go through the process and was handed my ticket. Upon my return, I wasn't greeted with words but instead an open palm grasping for the ticket. Then was told to pay, without being told the price. Was then told the price, which was an exorbitant amount of money, but figured everything is going up nowadays and continued anyway. After leaving, I felt more and more unsettled so I tried on the dress and was incredibly disappointed. So I took it to another cleaners. Here, I was told that the hem would be a simple fix and decided to ask them if the price I was charged was the normal. They were shocked to hear what they had gotten away with charging me and was told I was over charged basically double what they would've quoted me. Save to say Towne has lost my business forever. I could not recommend to find a new place enough, save your money. read more

From the moment you walk in there is a welcoming and professional presence from Tony and his wife. He immediately showed interest in what my needs were and talked me through any concerns by patiently answering my questions. His wife is very detail oriented and immediately started to assess my designer pieces and knew how to handle them, removing all shirt buttons and re-stitching them after the cleaning. They offered a fast turn around time at a very fair price. At pick up, I was very impressed with the quality of the cleaning and pressing of the jacket, pants and shirts. The absolute best Cleaner I've ever been to. I called them before arriving to ask about their tailoring/hemming services and was immediately impressed. I called in the late afternoon and they still said it was okay to bring the pants in! When you arrive you're greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Just dropped off my wedding suit (with my wife and her dress) and I cannot believe how nice this couple was taking our wedding attire and assuring us all of the stains will be removed and they will fix whatever tears they find! Very nice customer service and very welcoming people for our first time using this cleaner. I will write a follow up after I receive our attire back! So far so happy! :) Update: We picked up her dress and my suit today and we could not be happier! They packaged her dress in this awesome box which will protect it for years and it can be handed down from generation to generation. They cleaned the dress three times and it honestly looks as new as the day I saw it on her walking down the aisle .
