This tree was easily 20' above my split level home and had spread to about 20' in canopy, encroaching on my roof and other smaller trees nearby. JMV came out the same day I requested a quote and was very competitive in cost, the service I was given during the quote process made it easy for me to go with them, and I'm glad I did! Not only was my tree removed and stump ground down, the area was cleaned nicely and the other trees were left undamaged. I also had a tree in the back trimmed up away from the house, and a Japanese maple I have under the tree was in the danger zone from the work. I told them that I had a crazy neighbor who can't bear the thought of the street tree being trimmed. I told them that they need a permit. They did not get the permit. The neighbor started raving like a lunatic in the street, and the work was not completed. JMV is trying to lie to avoid getting a bad review. JMV was told that my neighbor would scream like a wild banshee and then call the police. They agreed to obtain a permit, and I agreed to cover the cost. I told them that the treehugger could only be stopped with a permit. When they arrived, they forgot to bring one. They even showed up, but they did not have one. They claimed to have received an email from the city. I asked for the email a while ago. I was never sent a copy. They did not show up with a lift as requested. A man climbed a tree, and he had to climb up onto the bank to access it. Later, I was told they didn't have the proper lift. There are so many other lies in their response that I won't bore you with any more words.
