Lorenzo's team was awesome, very punctual, open communication, and did an excellent job removing the tree. His cleaned up the area where the trimmings landed and left it better than it was before. If you need any tree removal, I would use Lorenzo and no one else. read more

Called Lorenzo out for a project in my backyard to cut down a dying tree and to grind the stump. My fence door was too narrow so he told me to call him the day my fence can be taken down. Took down the tree in a few hours and after a week, call him again for the stump grinding which he said would only take 30 mins. He was super prompt especially since he had to make two trips to my house and was really nice about it. He came by recently to also drop off mulch from a tree cutting project bc I had asked in passing. If you want some mulch and dont mind the type of tree or the inconsistent size, ask around! Lorenzo may have dropped three truckful at this point and they're all great mulch for our needs read more

Lorenzo always delivers and does a phenomenal job! My monster sycamore grew a ton and had so many excess branches and weight. Lorenzo and his crew showed up promptly and did a spectacular job trimming and shaping my tree with no mess left. He is easy to contact and communicative and so great to work with. Highly highly recommend him. His pricing is totally fair and not price gauging like so many Silicon Valley companies. Love working with him. read more

I can HIGHLY recommend Lorenzo's Tree Service. I have a big palm that needed cleaning after a few years. Lots of trunk debris and dead palm fronds. Lorenzo was the first company to respond to my Yelp Project request to remove an 18' tall maple tree. His quote was competitive and fair. We setup a time. Lorenzo informed me by text when there was a delay and rescheduled for later the same day. His guy ended up arriving about an hour later than the new time which was annoying as I had another meeting at that time. I managed the overlap, but that was an issue but I didn't subtract a star. We asked for some additional work to be done while he was here and the cost was reasonable so we approved the additional work. We had them redo some things, but Lorenzo and his crew were eager to satisfy us. We are pleased with the outcome and will use Lorenzo again. read more

I had a bit of an emergency with my tall palm suddenly dropping all the dead fronds that I had been reserving for birds' nests. For four weeks in a row, we had to pick up fronds to clear our cul de sac, pack our green recycling bin full, then start all over again after trash pick up. The last winds and rain took down so many palms that we had a huge stack up against the garage. This made it clear that we could no longer keep up. I wrote a rave review in 2022, about the work Lorenzo's company did on my Atlas Cedar. This tree, by the way, no longer even moves when the wind blows, yet it looks so natural and gorgeous. I didn't even know if Lorenzo would trim a palm, since they do such highly-skilled, artistic work on conifers. But I texted him anyway. While I waited for him to get back to me, I got a few (astronomical) bids from yelp companies, who wanted more to remove dead fronds than Lorenzo had charged to lace the Cedar. I was about to hire one because I really needed this to get done before bird nesting season. When Lorenzo got back to me in the evening with a bid less than half the price of the others, AND said he could come the next day, well, that was it for me. There were about 200 fronds on the palm, and about 50 more on my driveway. The crew arrived an hour early, made quick work of all of it and even took the ones that I had already put into my green bin. I thought they would bring a lift, but no, they climbed the palm with chain saws, despite the serrated fronds. Surprisingly, all of the flowering plants under the palm survived, though I had been resigned that they would get ruined by this work. I'm so grateful to have got all that done before nesting season, and so glad I no longer have to go out in the pouring rain to collect fronds off my neighbors' driveways. read more

Last winter, our flat roof started caving due to heavy rains. We suspected a large tree in our yard was the cause as it was growing over the roof. We hired Lorenzo to cut back the tree away from the roof and requested photos of roof to assess condition. He did the job quickly but sent no pictures. Two months later with evidence of ceiling beams cracking, we discovered the gutters were clogged with lots of tree debris turning the roof into a swimming pool and causing the weight and damage to roof. An experienced tree service would've caught and reported this condition instead of a quick in/quick out take the money proposition. I can understand the 5-star reviews, however, when conditions are not that cut-n-dry is when reputation should be revealed. read more

I requested a quote from Lorenzo's Tree Service and within 8 hours, had an appointment for an estimate. Lorenzo arrived at exactly the pointed time. I told him what I was hoping he could do, he quoted me a very fair price and said they could do the job immediately. I was shocked, to say the least. The crew arrived about 30 minutes later and within an hour, had completed the job and cleaned it all up. They even hauled away the largest part of a trellis that was overgrown with a vine they removed. I cannot say enough great things about Lorenzo Tree Service. They are going to be out "go-to" tree removal service from now on. FYI: They removed a 7 foot stump of an apricot tree, removed the stump, and removed a large, overgrown trumpet vine that had fallen over on a trellis. read more

We had three very large oak trees upslope of our home that needed to be removed for safety reasons. Given the scale of the job I got 10+ estimates, which spanned a huge range. We chose Lorenzo. He gave us a very competitive estimate and his crew did an incredible job, starting the Friday after Thanksgiving and completing everything in only three days. With where the trees were located there was a lot of potential for damage to our home, fencing, other landscaping etc. Lorenzo's crew did great job ensuring all work was completed safely and minimizing any impact to our property. We would absolutely work with them again and highly recommend! read more

I had two large trees that were a foot from my house and had grown to the point they started to hit the house due to wind during one of the storms this winter, damaging the roof and gutters. We even arranged for them to leave some mulch for my son that is a gardener. read more

Lorenzo gave me a very reasonable quote to trim two overgrown giant birds of paradise, which was almost half the quote of another tree service. He suggested cutting all the big trunks to open up the fast-growing plants and noticed a messy street side tree branch growing over my fence and offered to cut it as well in the included price. The extra work was still much less expensive than the other quote. He and his crew of 4 returned in half an hour and completed the work 1-1/2 hours later. They were very efficient, knowledgeable, fast and strong, hauling away all the branches and leaves into their wood chipper and truck, and used a leaf blower to clean up my neglected yard. Lorenzo is very easy to work with and my yard looks so much better than before. I highly recommend him for any tree work one might have. Don't hesitate to call him--there's a reason he has 5 stars! read more

We used Lorenzo's to trim our redwood tree which was crowded with a lot of branches and hadn't really been trimmed in the last 5+ years. With the winds early this year, I noticed the tree was swaying slightly since it was being overcrowded. Lorenzo's folks came right on time and did a great job trimming it and opened it up neatly. Just had a great experience w/ Lorenzo's Tree Service. Had 2 stumps that I needed to annihilate and my little HomeDepot rental chain saw just wasn't cutting it (literally.) We have some 14 trees on our property. After some recent wind events we decided to trim the trees before something untoward happened. Lorenzo responded quickly when we reached out. He came by to inspect the property and provided good advise on the best way to trim the trees. He also noted how one of the non-fruiting pear trees had been improperly trimmed in the past which caused some issues. He noted some of the issues with trimming of cypress trees and how trimming aggressively could create problems which would not grow out. The trees within the city planting easement in the front are maintained by the city and they told me the exact same thing as Lorenzo regarding the improperly trimmed tree. We finally decided to let the city deal with the front yard while Lorenzo and crew worked on the back. He had the most competitive written quite, a professional document emailed to me with specifics of work to be performed. The team showed up on time the day of, and had everything in control quickly, with no further supervision, due to proper prior communication. All the tree debris was cleaned up and hauled away. Lorenzo and his crew are super professional. Lorenzo came out to my home and gave me a very reasonable estimate and I decided to go with him based on his outstanding Yelp reviews. He gave me some insight as to my tree's health and confirmed my suspicion that it was time for it to go (the trunk was rotting, it was leaning, and posed a hazard to my home). After he and his crew came out, I can see why they are so well-regarded: 1) They are QUICK - they literally took down a tree that would have taken me an entire weekend to chop down and cut into pieces in about 40 minutes flat; 2) They are CLEAN - they cleaned up all the trimmings and left the area as if they had never been there; and 3) they are THOROUGH, they removed the stump and even took care of an extra stump for me. I have Lorenzo's number saved and he will be the only guy I call for future tree work. Thank you Lorenzo. read more
