I have used this company's services multiple times. They consistently deliver excellent services with competitive pricing. Most recently, they came out to remove a large tree at my house, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. The team arrived on time. They are a crew of four and worked quickly and safely. They took great care to protect the surrounding windows and yard furniture during the job. They cleaned up every branch and debris before leaving, leaving my yard clean and tidy. They also went to the neighbor's side to pick up the branches that fell over. I am satisfied with their professionalism, fair pricing, and excellent work. I would strongly recommend this company. read more

Our tree was lost a large branch. Other trees of the same type in the neighborhood had lost large branches recently. They determined it just needed a trim and did a great job. read more

Bear Tree Company was impressed me with their response time, professionalism, value, and knowledge. From the time I first put in my request (with Yelp) for tree and stump removal, their response to my inquiry about their service and prices very earlier than most, and even to come out. (The early bird in this case really did get the worm!). They offered to price match as well since they knew I was looking at other companies' quotes. Professionalism- They are licensed and bonded, and I think Yelp also has a guarantee if something goes "wrong." I got a sense of comfort and integrity from Ivan, who came out initially to look and give me an initial quote of services. Value and knowledge - Ivan offered a competitive price quote and a willingness to match other companies. After completing thorough tree trimming and removal, they cleaned up the area and the area looked amazing. read more

My neighbors tree was leaning over my side of the fence. My wife was constantly complaining about cleaning up leaves that didn't belong to her. I called Bear Tree company and Ivan came over and told me what he could do. Ivan was constantly in touch with me by phone. I came home from work and saw everything my side of the fence was cut exactly like Ivan said. The Bear Tree team removed all the cut branches and did not harm my young avocado tree under this big tree. My wife is very happy - I am very happy. read more

Sadly, our very old peppercorn tree was dying, and we were forced to remove it. I reached out to 3 different tree companies and was most impressed with Ivan and the Bear Tree Company. Ivan is very informative and honest. He even let me know that in Fremont we needed to reach out to the city for a permit. Because our tree was dying there was no fee, but we need to replant a new baby tree. I had no idea about this, and the other companies said nothing. There could have been a possible $10,000 fine if I had not done that. The whole crew was very professional, courteous, hardworking, efficient and very timely. Their prices were average compared to the others I reached out to. We definitely will be using the Bear Tree Company again. read more

I received a quick response from the company after I posted a service request on Yelp. The crew came to work on three trees in my yard two days after the contact. I think that was a pretty quick action taken. The tree work included one removal, one trimming, and one dead tall pine tree to be cut low. The jobs were done neatly and in only half a day. Every crew member was very nice, friendly, and proficient. The cost was reasonable. I am pretty impressed by their performance and will certainly use their service again next time. I also recommend it to whomever needing tree services. read more

Ivan and his crew did an excellent job cutting, trimming, and pruning the trees in my backyard. They were efficient, effective and and timely. Ivan went above and beyond the assigned task to answer questions and give advice in regards to possible landscape water issues as well as offering ideas for a widening concrete sidewalk gap. He looked at the water systems currently in place, made suggestions and offered to send the name of someone that might be helpful. He and his crew are knowledgeable about much more than taking care of trees. I recommend this company without any hesitation. They definitely will be my go to company for future tree maintenance. read more

Super happy with Ivan and his crew. It's a family business so the older gentleman is the one with tons of tree cutting experience and is the happiest guy hanging 100 feet off the ground singing and all. I believe he also has a tik tok page and a following so he's very legit. Ivan is the one doing all the planning and communication with his crew. No problems with language of any sort when dealing with this crew. As for the work, very collaborative, neatly done and cleaned. I hired them for tree trimming (over a dozen trees) and a follow up for a full yard cleanup. I plan on being a repeat customer. read more

I have 8 massively overgrown trees at front and backyard (including 60 ft Tulip, 40 ft Podocarpus, 30ft Pear's). Bear Tree Company did a fantastic job to resolve the issues. Ivan is very professional, responsive and communicative. His proposal is detailed and the price competitive. His crew are very skillful, clean, friendly and cooperative. They coordinated well with our neighbor in pruning branches overreaching to their yard. The climber was steady, cautious and showed specific attention to details when pruning and shaping these large trees. The project was split into 2 mornings. They were prompt to start and cleaned the site very well after the work is done. I highly recommend Bear Tree company for tree services. read more

Ivan was quick to respond to our initial query and remained very responsive (even on the weekends) with all our communications. The crew did a great job with taking down a large tree, pruning several large trees, trimming hedges, and taking out a large swath of invasive ivy. Ivan was on-site throughout the two day job and he made sure everything to be done was done and that we were happy with the results. Ivan is very professional, prompt and responsive. Price is very competitive. His crew completed the job of removing 5-massive cypress trees in a day.
