I went in and the nice technician started removing my gel, at the end of removing my gel she asked 'do you want me to cut your cuticles for you?' And I said 'if you don't mind that would be appreciated!' She cut my cuticles and I went to wash my hands and was ready to pay. However when I went to pay, the receptionist told me it would be $45, I asked to confirm the price because all I got was my gel removed and she told me because I agreed to having my cuticles cut, it was now considered a manicure and 'she did the service so I need to pay it.' To which I asked for clarification because she did not paint my nails, do a clear coat, soak my nails, or any of the other services that come with a manicure. She said I could get a polish if I wanted to and I considered it but then I asked again is there no way to pay a little more than the gel removal fee because yes she did cut my cuticles but it feels unfair that since they did not communicate that uncharge to me that I would be expected to pay for a service I simply did not get. She said I should have asked for the prices when she offered to cut my cuticles and I said that doesn't feel fair because I've gotten gel removed before where they just cut my cuticles without asking so why would I have assumed it would be a $35 add on to my $10 service. The receptionist then told me to leave and she would rather me not pay than argue with her. I explained I was not arguing and I do want to pay, $45 for a service I did not receive feels unfair but I would not be leaving without paying. I took a $20 out of my wallet and put it on the technicians table and left. I paid double what I would have paid for the service alone, I will not let someone think I'm trying to not pay service workers, she deserves to be paid, however, I am not okay with trying to be scammed out of $35 for a up-charge that was not communicated properly. I do not recommend this shady behavior in an establishment, sorry for the miscommunication but this could have been handled so much better than it was.

He was professional, knew his job well and was extremely meticulous about his work. They have 4 chairs to do their manicure, and 5 massage chairs to do their pedicure. Thankfully, the TV was on and it was not the depressing, sad, violent news. They were showing Americas got Talent. Also, soft music would have been nice to listen too. After he was done with my pedicure Jamy, took me inside their room where they do waxing. I needed to wax my under arms, and eye brows. She did a great job; and for both services they charged me $58.00. Even though they are the business owners, I still tipped them well. Place was super clean, with cute decor here and there. Parking shared with other businesses, and one gender neutral restroom also very clean. She even gave me a $2.00 off for my waxing. My only critique is that the massage that Nick did on my legs/feet was too short. Didn't even last 3 minutes. I also like the pressure to be medium to medium hard. He hand strong hands, but didn't deliver. I will definitely visit this salon when I am in the area. Highly recommend to others. She helped me choose the type of manicure I wanted, and I really appreciated how welcoming she was. The woman who did my pedicure was also nice overall. She didn't speak to me much, but I was completely okay with that. My pedicure itself was great. Unfortunately, my manicure experience was extremely disappointing. I didn't get the woman's name because she never greeted me or spoke to me at any point, but she was wearing a black shirt with pearls and bows. From the beginning, she seemed annoyed, agitated, or possibly in a rush. Throughout the manicure, I felt like I was an inconvenience. I am nine months pregnant, and while I did my best to sit still, it is understandably difficult to remain completely motionless at 39 weeks. Every time I moved or shifted slightly, she would huff and puff. She repeatedly jerked my hand around and aggressively moved the light, which made the entire experience feel uncomfortable and unnecessarily tense. I was really looking forward to the services I paid $116 for today, and unfortunately, I left feeling worse than when I walked in. That was especially disappointing because I had been looking forward to treating myself before my baby arrives. I do want to emphasize that the other staff members I interacted with were kind, the spa was clean and peaceful, and my pedicure was great. My issue was specifically with the manicure experience and the way I was treated during it. Before leaving, I asked if I could speak with a manager. The woman working at the counter was very kind and explained that the manager was not there, but assured me she would pass along my experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Both Ani and Anna were very attentive throughout the appointment and kept checking to make sure I liked the shape and cuticle work, which I appreciated. I especially loved my pedicure. The only issue was with my manicure. Toward the end, I noticed a piece of dust trapped under the gel or top coat on one of my nails. Since it's something I'll probably notice every day for the next few weeks, I pointed it out when she asked if everything was okay. She checked it and added another layer of top coat, but the dust was still visible. I'm not someone who likes confrontation, so I ended up just leaving, even though I knew I'd probably regret not speaking up more. Overall, everyone was kind and detail-oriented, and I really enjoyed the pedicure. I just wish the manicure issue had been fixed before I left.
