I've never met a nail tech as picky about their work as I am picky about what's being done. Hai at Nailtastic my acrylics for years. I see him every two weeks for an acrylic fill. I love how I look and feel when I leave his salon. I come in each time feeling embarrassed after I picked off a few nails (a nervous habit), my hand hidden in my pockets or out of sight a few days prior to each appointment. Then I leave Nailtastic feeling confident. I'm rather particular about my nails and Hai does them exactly the way I want them. He's really good at what he does, and also very friendly and kind. I just want to thank and send love to Joann (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and Aaron. Both are sweethearts and do a fabulous job. I had hard gel and a gel pedicure. You can't go wrong with techs but these 2 are superior. I've always had amazing service and they've always been kind if you need a fix or a color change...tip them well! I couldn't remember my appointment time 10 or 1030 and they were cleaning and setting up and took me in without hesitation. I also got to listen to some great music. read more

They started my appointment right on time, and the salon was clean with friendly, accommodating nail techs. They took their time cleaning, prepping, and shaping my nails, and my toes came out smooth and very pretty. I brought an inspo photo for my nails, and they did an amazing job recreating it. I had a great experience at this small nail salon for both manicure and pedicure services today. The salon is clean, and very welcoming, which made it easy to relax right away. The staff were friendly and professional, taking time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. My manicure was done with care and attention to detail. The nail shaping was perfect, and the polish application was smooth and long-lasting. I also appreciated how patient the technician was in helping me choose a color. i have been going to the same nail salon for over ten years due to the fact that i'm very picky when it comes to my nails. i went to nailtastic two weeks ago and i will definitely be a repeat customer. the nail technician took his time on my nails, was very detailed and my nails still look amazing after two weeks! their selection of opi and essie colors are to die for. everyone keeps asking if my regular manicure is a gel manicure, they're seriously that good! the service is laid back and the salon is immaculate. they have these cloud 9 massage chairs that are amazing and they have huge flat screen televisions. i'm obsessed and can't wait to go back. p.s.--they use new nail equip. on each customer...so everything is brand new and sanitized, i'm SOLD. read more

Living in Burbank, its really hard finding a good place to get a Mani/Pedi. This place was relatively new, so I was worried at first when trying it. But they just caught me by surprise. I loved it, I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. Let's just say I finally found my place. Don, (I think that was his name) he was great! I was on my lunch break and let him know that I was kind of in a rush. Got everything done really quick and he did a great job. He actually did what I asked him to do! On top of that, the OPI selection is AMAZINGG, but I was feeling a little red on Wednesday so I went with the Essie wicked. Overall, NAILTASTIC did a great job. I've had a number of bad experiences with nail salons such as short massages, shitty service, cheap polish jobs, etc. You wont experience that here. I found them on Instagram. I decided to try them today. They use liner for pedicure station so i feel very clean. My old place did not use liner so it was impressive to me. I pay 31$ for my pedicure and 65 for my GelX set which i think is very good price. My nails and feet were taken good care of. They are super friendly. I came here last Tuesday and they had their spa pedi/mani special for $25 dollars it was worth every penny. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and clean. I was told that every thing they use on each client is brand new, which I experienced with my own eyes. When I go to a nail salon I look for cleanness and quality which is why Nailtastic gets 5 stars. Mani/Pedi special every Tuesday and Wednesday if you're in the area stop. read more

I've been getting my nails done with Hai and Vannie for a couple of years even before they opened their own nail salon. Their work is so clean and they do the most beautiful designs! All for a really good price. There is a pretty big parking lot so you never have to worry about parking (& it's free) so that's a big plus. Loving this new place in Burbank. I had to wait a little cause they were busy, but the shopping center they are located in has a starbucks!!! I went in and the nice technician started removing my gel, at the end of removing my gel she asked 'do you want me to cut your cuticles for you?' And I said 'if you don't mind that would be appreciated!' She cut my cuticles and I went to wash my hands and was ready to pay. However when I went to pay, the receptionist told me it would be $45, I asked to confirm the price because all I got was my gel removed and she told me because I agreed to having my cuticles cut, it was now considered a manicure and 'she did the service so I need to pay it.' To which I asked for clarification because she did not paint my nails, do a clear coat, soak my nails, or any of the other services that come with a manicure. She said I could get a polish if I wanted to and I considered it but then I asked again is there no way to pay a little more than the gel removal fee because yes she did cut my cuticles but it feels unfair that since they did not communicate that uncharge to me that I would be expected to pay for a service I simply did not get. She said I should have asked for the prices when she offered to cut my cuticles and I said that doesn't feel fair because I've gotten gel removed before where they just cut my cuticles without asking so why would I have assumed it would be a $35 add on to my $10 service. The receptionist then told me to leave and she would rather me not pay than argue with her. I explained I was not arguing and I do want to pay, $45 for a service I did not receive feels unfair but I would not be leaving without paying. I took a $20 out of my wallet and put it on the technicians table and left. I paid double what I would have paid for the service alone, I will not let someone think I'm trying to not pay service workers, she deserves to be paid, however, I am not okay with trying to be scammed out of $35 for a up-charge that was not communicated properly. I do not recommend this shady behavior in an establishment, sorry for the miscommunication but this could have been handled so much better than it was.

I had hard Gel on my nails from my old place. Not chips or cracks! I was asking for my nails to be cut all the way down and hard gel again. Ben was the tech, he used a dremel to grind off what was on my nails and to cut down the length. I first had to keep telling him to go shorter and shorter. He then used the nail file and it still wasn't getting them short enough and they were extremely crooked. I had to point out about 8 of the 10 nails one by one that need to be leveled out. He then did his thing painting them. I got no lotion, no cuticle cutting, no hand message. Just the Dremel, file, paint, light and oil. About 3 hrs later 1 nail chipped. I went back and Rose tried to corrected it. She removed everything off the nail again. Placed some type of liquid hardener, cure it, but did not smooth it out so after it was painted it looked rippled. By that night a 2nd nail cracked, by morning a 3rd nail chipped. I wasn't doing any house work or anything to cause it. By day day 3, I have 3 chipped and 1 cracked nail and that's not mentioning the one they corrected. $50 for Hard Gel and 2 Visit, tipping both visits. Gone! Update: 7 days later my nails are so messed up. I really wanted to possibly go back and give them one more chance but absolutely not!
