I was in the neighborhood working on getting a listing in Burbank and needed to fix my nails since two were broken. I came across this little place tucked in a little plaza so decided to come in as a walk in. Mailey took me in and tried to take off the gels I had prior. The drill she used to take off the gel was a bit more aggressive than what I was used to and got hit very fast. I was a bit scared and couldn't relax my fingers. When another regular customer came in she left me to focus on the other person as I waited for the acetone to melt off the previous gel. This prolonged me another 20 minutes of doing nothing. Not that friendly after I told her I am not from the neighborhood. Didn't feel like having too much conversation. Charged me at the end for making the polish matte and charged me $4 extra which never gets disclosed until the end!! What is wrong with the transparency at these nail salons?! I liked it shiny and would have saved the $4. Instead of $28 it came to $32 for matte gel. Doesn't even look matte. Looks dull. Overall very average experience. Nails came out nice so she did a good job cutting it short and shaping. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon since my high school days which is about 10 years now and I trust no one else to do my nails. The ladies do an amazing job every time! My go to is a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I have just recently started to come here for brow and lip waxes since my usual esthetician quit and to be honest I was very nervous to have to someone new do my brows but Miley did them perfectly! I've been coming here for 4/5 months now consistently every two weeks, the longest I've stayed with a salon! A pedicure and a gel manicure. The quality of the service is always great, the gel lasts weeks (and I'm an esthetician always washing my hands) and Maggie pays so much attention to detail on my pedicures. I went to Rose Nails of Burbank for Mani Pedi and brought a friend. I found them to be very nice and super professional. They turned on the Massage chair for me and made my foot soaking water good and hot; just the way I like it. Not that luke warm shyt. They gave my feet a good scrubbing and my feet felt really good. I get ingrown toenails (tmi anyone) and rose nails is the only place I go because they know how to strategically take it out without hurting me. All the ladies that work here are super nice and know you by name as soon as you walk in. I have been going to Rose Nails for about ten years now. I go because Miley is excellent and I like the small quiet atmosphere. I will say that I wont be going back though, because regularly, Maggie ends up being my technician, and she has hurt me on numerous occasions. She is rough and rushed and doesn't make any effort to adjust herself when I'm squirming or wincing. When she is scrubbing my feet very harshly, and I'm squirming or pulling away, she laughs and says "tickle? Tickle?". I say, no, you're hurting me and she just carries on. It's been 3 days, my nail polish is already chipping on acrylics...My nails are square shape, but the side edges are unusually sharp. No linings for foot tubs and did not sanitize utensils. People were somewhat unapologetic. Did my nails. Came out un even. The old, "its your nail" came out of her mouth.
