I walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me in without hesitation so I was really excited! I sat down with Lusine and she was the sweetest person! I had a different idea with my nails but she explained to me what the best route would be in order to protect and care for my nails and explained how it would look in a couple of weeks and how to properly care for them which I really appreciated. The owner? Or front desk manager was just as sweet as well. She kept coming by to check on me and make sure I was okay, offering me coffee or tea to make my visit more comfortable. I ended up doing a milky white color with builder gel and I can very obviously see the difference compared to regular gel so I'm really excited to show them off. Thank you again! read more

I really wanted to like this salon, but after giving them two chances, I won't be returning. The biggest issue wasn't even the quality of the nails--it was how uncomfortable the atmosphere felt. The woman at the front desk came across as controlling and unwelcoming both times I visited. I understand that businesses have policies and need to keep things organized, but there's a big difference between being professional and making customers feel like they're doing something wrong. For example, my mom came with me and briefly walked over to greet the nail technician who had done her nails during a previous visit. She only did this because the technician speaks Spanish and my mom wanted to say hello. The interaction lasted only a moment, but the woman at the front visibly looked bothered by such an innocent gesture, which made us both feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this wasn't a one-time impression. I noticed the same tense and unprofessional atmosphere during my first visit as well. The staff also seemed more focused on talking among themselves than paying attention to their clients. Because I understand both English and Spanish, I could hear employees speaking negatively about one another throughout the appointment, which created an awkward environment. It didn't feel like a welcoming place to relax. The quality of the nails also didn't justify the price. Both my mom's and my nails started popping off much sooner than they should have. When my mom returned to have just one nail repaired, the experience felt unnecessarily drawn out instead of being treated as a quick fix. Considering the prices are higher than many other salons in the area, I expected much better customer service, professionalism, and longer-lasting work. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I had my nails done earlier today at another salon, I was VERY unhappy with the color & design.. I passed by Aphina on my way home and decided to quickly stop in to see if they could do a color/design change. Let me tell you, it was the best decision I've ever made. I dropped off my 14-year-old daughter and ordered two pedicures. The owner told me it would be $35 per service, but after I stepped out, they added extra fees and the total came out to $115. What started as a friendly visit quickly turned into a nightmare. They also took an extremely long time -- we arrived at 10:00 a.m. and didn't finish until 12:30 p.m. No other salon in Burbank charges these kinds of prices for basic services. I'm not a fan of this nail shop at all. 1, I pay whatever for nails because I've never been cheap however, there's no menu for pricing therefore I paid $125 for a full set & pedicure and I say that to say, she's making up prices anyways greshel, 11/10 she's very nice she doesn't know English only Spanish and me being bilingual I could understand and tell her what I wanted with no issues. I went in for Gel-X today -- and they also told me they would be doing "Russian style." I paid $95 for this appointment, and my nails came out absolutely terrifying. I left the salon thinking maybe I was overreacting, but the moment I got to my car and actually looked at my hands, I realized just how bad it was. I genuinely started crying. Every single nail looks different from the others. Also so much glue was applied that you can see it coming out of the bottom of my nails Different lengths, different shapes, different angles -- nothing matches. All ten nails look like they were done by ten different people who weren't speaking to each other. It was honestly shocking. I called the salon immediately and told them how upset I was -- that I had cried because of how awful my nails looked. I even sent them multiple pictures and close-up videos showing exactly what I was talking about. Instead of helping me, they told me there was nothing they could do and basically refused to fix it. And let me be clear: I told them I didn't want ANY of their "technicians" touching my nails again because at that point, I didn't trust them at all. They had already done enough damage. When I went to a different nail tech to fix this disaster, she told me my nail beds were damaged and that the Gel-X wasn't even properly glued to my nails. She showed me as she removed them -- the Gel-X was literally lifting off without any effort, just peeling away like stickers because it hadn't been applied correctly in the first place. I even sent the original salon videos of this happening, just so they could see how poorly everything was done. I paid $95 for what ended up being a complete nightmare. This was honestly one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the tears -- because this was a disaster from start to finish. I had to pay double to get it fixed and I even sent the a video of how my new nails look and show them how an actual professional does nails! read more

I made an appointment online for a few hours later in the day. I showed up to my appointment and the receptionist didn't really seem to understand I had appointment. There was only 1 nail tech working at the time (she had a client) and there were 2 other people waiting. The receptionist had me take a seat and wait and she went outside and was smoking/playing on her phone. I waited 30 min inside and the one tech was still with her client and no one new showed up to work for the people waiting and no update was provided to me.
