This review is way overdue since I've already seen Van twice now for a gel manicure/regular pedicure but let me tell you, I would give her 10 stars if I could. Van is one of a kind. She's meticulous with her work and honest when it comes to the kind of design or color you might be asking for. If you show her a photo of something you like, she will tell you if it can be done or not, and how it will come out based on what type of polish you are getting. I've come to her with ideas and have left both times with amazing nails (and endless compliments night I add - everyone always asks where I get them done) Van is a one woman show. She manages her own calendar and does both the manicures and pedicures as she works in a salon and is the only manicurist there. She is awesome! She's easy to talk to and you won't feel rushed during your appointment. The salon is easy to find, has plenty of street parking, and the hair stylists there are all friendly and welcoming. If you're going to book with Van, be sure to book ahead (like 3 weeks ahead) because she's just that amazing that her schedule books quick but she is accommodating and will make something work :) read more

Love Van I used to go to her at LOVELY NAILS ON MAGNOLIA AND VICTORY. I lost her for awhile finally found her and reached out she was not doing nails at the time due to Covid . But, when she started back o reached out about for times and now no time to respond back ‍not ok, for long time customer that had previously given you great reviews. Let me preface this by pointing out that my nails are literally paper thin. I'm not even exaggerating, it's very hard for me to grow them unless the product used is super strong. Look how long I was able to grow my natural nails with Van's dip powder gel. I've literally been to the beach, packed huge boxes for an upcoming move and lugged around super heavy suitcases. Not a single nail broken! The pictures are from when I first got my mani and after three weeks of growth. I initially went to Van for pedis. She's absolutely amazing. So, I didn't really want to write this review because I want to keep Van all to myself because she's amazing and I don't want Van to get MORE busy than she already is. But here it goes anyway... Van is AMAZING. She takes her time and is very thorough. I never feel rushed or that she has to get to the next person. I get gel nails and regular pedicures. My gels last at least 3 weeks and I work with my hands a lot. Everything she uses is very sanitary. (I actually found Van on here because my previous nail shop gave me TWO infections.
