I had hard Gel on my nails from my old place. Not chips or cracks! I was asking for my nails to be cut all the way down and hard gel again. Ben was the tech, he used a dremel to grind off what was on my nails and to cut down the length. I first had to keep telling him to go shorter and shorter. He then used the nail file and it still wasn't getting them short enough and they were extremely crooked. I had to point out about 8 of the 10 nails one by one that need to be leveled out. He then did his thing painting them. I got no lotion, no cuticle cutting, no hand message. Just the Dremel, file, paint, light and oil. About 3 hrs later 1 nail chipped. I went back and Rose tried to corrected it. She removed everything off the nail again. Placed some type of liquid hardener, cure it, but did not smooth it out so after it was painted it looked rippled. By that night a 2nd nail cracked, by morning a 3rd nail chipped. I wasn't doing any house work or anything to cause it. By day day 3, I have 3 chipped and 1 cracked nail and that's not mentioning the one they corrected. $50 for Hard Gel and 2 Visit, tipping both visits. Gone! Update: 7 days later my nails are so messed up. I really wanted to possibly go back and give them one more chance but absolutely not!

As said in my first review years ago, I a picky when it comes to my hair and nails, but at this point I walk in completely relaxed and trusting because I know I'm in the best hands. Sometimes I don't even know what I want and just let them do their thing and I always leave loving the results. The atmosphere is calm, personal, and welcoming, and the quality of work has been consistently amazing over the years. I still feel so grateful that I found this salon and this talented family.

Her tools were incredibly clean and she used a clean nail file for my hands and have it to me after our appointment was done. She gave me a custom nail color I really like by mixing several colors together and it couldn't have been better. I did hard gel on my nails with a Russian manicure and it was only $70 for everything which in my opinion is a very reasonable price. My nails were very weak from over drilling at other nail salons but they are starting to grow healthy thanks to the techniques Kesnia used. Will definitely come back to Kesnia!

What sets them apart from other places is that they really care about your nail health (won't overdrill/overbuff, very careful with removals, etc). For my birthday, my friend and I decided to get our nails done together, and I thought Organic Nail House was the best place to go. Julie was my tech that day, and she was absolutely lovely. I got hard gel nails done in Japan, and it took awhile to remove, but she handled it with such care. My nails still felt strong. I chose to do white 002 with #13 chrome and it turned out so beautiful!!! I am literally obsessed with this new color and can't stop looking at it in the light!!! I may want to just do this combination every single time!! The salon itself is a very relaxing environment. Especially coming on a weekday, it was extra peaceful and lovely. Also, the owners of this place were very nice and cleared up the misunderstanding we had during my first appt. I appreciated the genuine and kind follow up from them, which means a lot to me! While I eventually switched to gel and didn't mind it, part of the reason I continued coming was because I live nearby and the location is convenient. What has been most disappointing is that I appear to have been blocked from calling the salon. When I try to call from my phone, the calls do not go through, but they do when I use a different phone. I have no idea why this would be the case, as I have always been polite and respectful. At my last appointment, the owner ended up fixing my nail because the salon seemed extremely short-staffed. When I first came in to have the nail repaired, I waited about 30 minutes before being told to return another day. I did not get upset or cause a scene, I simply came back as requested. Throughout my visits, I have been patient but my nails kept chipping. As a business owner myself, I understand that staffing shortages and operational challenges happen. I appreciated that they eventually fixed the nail, especially since I had experienced repeated chipping that appeared to be related to newer products being used. It's also sad to see so many of the original team members no longer there. Overall, I'm left feeling confused and disappointed by the level of service and communication, especially given my loyalty as a longtime customer.
