I have been going here for 6 years & seeing only one great nail tech. Well she recently quit because the owners suck & are mean. They don't care about their customers AT ALL! I was desperate for a refill so I called & the owner guy said he could do my refill in 15 mins. I went there at 3pm & waited 35mins then he came to me saying he cannot see me today!!! WTH?? The owner & his wife are SO RUDE & ugly in person & on the phone! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! There's way many more nail salons to go to in spring. read more

I normally use this place and love it but the last time I went the service was terrible! I asked for a full set & pedi. The pedicure was very rushed and she did not scrub my feet at all. That is what I go to the salon for mainly! My nails, I was overcharged. I asked for a regular set and when I went to pay I was told they no longer do the set I asked for. I have no idea why this place is only 3 stars, it's the best in the spring area hands down. I have never had an issue with the work done and their polishes are not diluted like a lot of salons are. When I've accidentally smeared my polish when hitting it against the dryer they fixed it happily. They do not charge a fee if I bring in my own polish which is a major plus. No ridiculous fees are applied to trim down or remove hard calluses. 5 stars easily! read more

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL Do Not Use This Salon Shellac lasted less the two weeks - it was peeling off so bad like tape. Went back and this time she filed my nails down to NO NAILS after I told her not to cut them because its been less then two weeks and I am trying to get them to GROW!!! They speak very bad English and to each other in that rude way that you know they are talking about you. All I did was ask why the shellac peeled off - I have never had that happen I the two years I have been doing shellac manicures. Oh and it took them TWO hours because she kept leaving me to take in new customers and set them up to soak feet and she waxed two customers while servicing me. Furthermore - at least RINSE the foot bowl out before you put another customers feet in it. You are supposed to disinfect the bowl !!! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. read more

I am so upset. I have spent so much money at this place over several months of coming here. Today, May 13, 21 I got here for my appointment time of 2:30. (I called 5/12 to check availability and was told Tony had a 1:00 appointment today but he was free after that.) I told the lady great give me an appointment for 2:30. As I was parking in the parking lot at 2:20, I received a phone call asking me to come at 3:00. I told the nice lady I had an appointment for 2:30. WHY MAKE APPOINTMENTS?????? When I walked in Tony didn't even acknowledge me. I sat down for another lady to do my nails and the vibe was not there. She seemed annoyed and was rushing me to hurry up to choose a color for my nails. I got up and left to NEVER GO BACK! I am NEVER allowing any business to treat me disrespectfully. My wife and I stopped here for pedicures. My heels were very rough and dry and the instrument that the attendant used to scrap them, removed a large amount of my dry skin. I did not need a great deal of attention on my nails as much as my skin needed some nourishment. I guess the package that we purchased came with a light massage on the calf and lower leg and feet. I had my nails for 2 months straight no problem. I decided to give JK Nails Spa a try and went here for a refill. It was exactly 2 weeks after my refill from there my nail all of a sudden had a fungus! I called them and the guy tony told me hes the manager to come in and he will give me a refund and supply me with fungal medicine. I get there they all act like they dont know why I'm there and tell me there is no tony there yet they continue to grab my hands and say let me see and say maybe your looking for the girl go with her she will help you. I go she immediately finds the fungus points it out to all the people surrounding me and begins to remove my nails. As shes taking my nails off shes having people come over and look and they tried telling me that wherever I went before they gave me the fungus not them... but i have been having my nails for 2 months prior with no problem the fungus only appeared after a refill from jk nails. After she gets my nails all off and sanded down the mysterious tony that no one has ever heard of shows up and the girl gets up and he sets down and says let me file it down some more for you and then he proceeded to tell me that they didn't give me the fungus I told him I've had my nails for a while there was never any fungus until I came here so then he said we only guarentee for 2 weeks and today is 2 weeks I cant give you no refund your nail will grow out in about 3 weeks then the fungus will be gone after it grows out that if the fungus isn't gone in 2 weeks he will give me a refund (witch made no sense but I said ok give me something in writing) he says ok and goes up to the front to write me a certificate and asked me how much were my nails and before I could answer him the lady that works the front desk runs up there and says No! why are you giving her a refund? NO refund! He tried explaining to her I wasn't being gave a refund then she told him my nails were only $30 but yet for some reason on the day I came in when it was time to pay I was charged $45 for my refill. (So not only did I get a fungus from them I was also over charged!) She continues she say your nails were only $30 no refund. So then tony says normally this fungus medicine right here is sappoused to be $20. I just said whatever I grabbed the medicine and said I just wont do business with them anymore and I left. While all of this was going on the same girl that was doing my nails and useing all of her tools on my fungus nail she is now at another station useing all of the same dirty contaminated tools on another young girl getting her nails done the same tools that she just had on my fungus and she didnt even wash her hands after touching my fungus she just continued working on another person. I guess now I know why I have a fungus from her! I am highly disgusted by all of this and their dirty ways. I started off loving this shop I had the best nail lady Mai and she was great very nice and professional always made sure I was happy with my nails. I went in recently to find out she was let go so I moved to another lady named Hannah which at first I just was not sure but she listened to what I like and she became my new go to lady. I went in today for a refill only to find out Hannah is no longer there. It's frustrating to go in and not be able to have the same person do your nails. I've been going here for years, since ownership has change this place has gone down. There are 2 friendly employees there, the rest are very rude. This place is also very expensive and the quality is below average. With all the nail salons in the area, I would recommend a different one than jk nails. I have spent over $100 the last few times I have gone for a nail refill and a pedicure and they have done something wrong every time. $100+ is a lot of money for a pedicure and a nail refill. Today I went in to get a pedicure, when the lady asked me what kind of pedi I wanted I told her "just the classic" she told me to " think about doing the deluxe because she already put the smell good in the water" I then told her I still wanted the classic. She then got attitude with me and said not another word the entire time. Afterwards I went to go pay and their credit card machine was down. They asked me if I had cash (which I didn't) then another card and tried that one. Again their system was down and the card didn't work. So they then asked me to drive to my bank and get cash. I proceeded to walk out to my car to go to the bank then a few seconds after getting in my car, the same lady who did my toes knocked on my window and said " can I have your cell phone to make sure you're coming back because they last person this happened to did not come back and I had to pay the manager 24 dollars" I then told her she could not have my cell phone and I will bring the money back. I went in for a manicure to relax with some friends after a long travel.. The nail painting was fine but when she was cutting the cuticles, she really hurt me. It was painful and it burned when she poured liquid over the nails afterward. I thought maybe I was being sensitive but when I left, I saw that the bottom of my thumb nail was a bit bloodied. Over a week later, that area still looks bad. During the manicure, the woman painting my nails was rude. She insisted that I get my eyebrows done and that she needed to wax them, even after I refused multiple times. After the manicure, she even got up and motioned for us to go to the wax room. I will not be returning to this aggressive and pain inducing place. Perhaps the other employees are better. I hope my experience is not repeated with others. read more

This is by far one of the best nails shops around. Although the area isn't the best, this nail shop welcomes you in as family. They always have the latest nail trends and supply before other nail shops. If you are particular about your feet as I am I highly suggest you try out Tu (Ingrown, designs, etc..) Went in today for a refill. They did not acknowledge me for the first 10 minutes when I got there before finally seating me. The nail tech then told me I could go no lighter then the hot pink that I had previously. She was completely rude, rushed through, and very rough on my nails. Then she told me I had to go to the bank to get cash because their credit card machine was down. $40 for a refill because I said I wanted them more narrow then what they were before and that was extra. I don't like thick nails, but mine turned out paper thin. Very disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite nail salons. Will not be back. read more

Love Jk nails at 2920 and Kuykendahl. I started going here after my old nail lady started doing bad on my nails. Saw Tony and I have stayed with him since. Awesome pedis too. I recently got my eyelashes done at amazing lash and liked it so/so... I just saw Vivian(spelling) for a eyelash refill and she is fantastic!!!! Can't beat the price either.
