Jose was very responsive and he and his crew did an excellent job trimming our palm trees (including one that is over 70' tall). Their price was significantly less than the other quote I received but the quality of their work and communication was exceptional. I would highly recommend J&J to anyone. read more

I hired Jose and his team for the second year now and I am still very pleased with their service. They trimmed 3 large trees, which look great, and cleaned up everything! They know what they're doing, for sure. Thanks so much to the whole team. See you guys next year! read more

Jose and his team did an amazing job pruning and shaping our tree. He was quick, reliable and quoted a fair price for the work. We would highly recommend and will use their services again! read more

Great work, great communication. Crew was efficient, nice, and cleaned-up well. I'll be calling again.

We hired these guys today to trim our palms, hedge, several large trees and also remove a tree. Their price was better than 2 other people we got a quote from AND they did the best tree trimming job our yard has ever seen. This was all done in super high wind conditions. Not only that, but Jose knows his shit! He fertilized our different trees and gave us tons of recommendations for getting our trees and grass in better shape. After working with him for one day, we decided to fire our regular gardener and have Jose do the weekly maintenance on our yard. These reviews don't lie-- Jose and his crew are the best. read more

Jose and his team did an incredible job removing 13 trees from our backyard. He navigated some tight spots and his team worked incredibly hard. When they finished the job in just six hours, our place was spotless. Very knowledgable and easy to work with - Highly recommend! read more

J&J has done the tree maintenance at my house for many years. I have 6 Mexican fan palms, 3 king palms, 2 coco palms, a dragon palm, 3 other yucca/palm varieties, 2 pygmy date palms and 4 Jacarandas. At least yearly, I have to have all the palms trimmed. These palms have been on property for 30+ years and have been growing and growing. Jose has been my go-to each time I need that tree work and its something that I have very frequently gotten other quotes for, which only because of this post, he now knows, my point being that each year when it comes time, he hasn't known that he has a competing bid. Its not just that his price has always been reasonable, but the care that is taken while the work is being done, the cleanup (including skimming the pool for any debris) and the efficiency in which the work is done is exemplary. This last time, Sept, I had decided to have the Mex fan palms skinned (it hadn't been done in 25 yrs, so it was a lot of linear footage on 40ft+ tall trees), have one removed (which was located in an area wedged between back of pool and fenceline), and removal of a 20ft giant bird of paradise. Some of this was the annual trimming but a lot was really big 1-time work. Jose walked the prop with me, discussed with me why I should or shouldn't do something or what I might defer relative to other work I'm having done at my house--all very thought forward as if it was his house/money. His price was very good and not that far from the other 2 bids I received, but once again, Jose brought a high level of quality to the work that was done. The crew arrived on time, took extra care to contain the resulting mess from getting into the pool (which is so important because too much mess in the pool leads to filter problems, etc), clean-up left everything even tidier than when they started. Look, I was so pleased, I provided cookies for the crew! J&J has yet to really give me a reason to go elsewhere and if I could give 6 stars, I would. read more

J&J just completed a total yard clean up for me. They did a fantastic job pruning bushes, trimming trees, cleaning up all my plants and removing all the debris. This is the second time I have used them, and have been very impressed both times. The last time they cut down trees for me too. I will definitely call them next year when everything needs to be cleaned up again. Highly recommend. read more

Once again i called J and J to this time, clean up 4 king palms. The crew showed up promptly and did a wonderful job. The quote was reasonable and they don't use spikes. This is the second time I've used them and I will not hesitate to call them again. Highly recommended. read more

Jose and his team are fantastic. They are fairly priced, reliable, do a great job and have helped with emergency leaks, given advice, replaced sprinklers, cut palm trees, etc. They have a wide range of skills and always do it all so fast and with quality. They work really hard, are so nice and I'm so glad to have found them! read more

We contracted with J&J Tree Service to have a diseased cedar tree removed ( a tricky business) and to have some other overhanging limbs trimmed back. Both tasks required a careful mix of surgery, ballet, and acrobatics, but these guys pulled it off like it was nothing. We are very pleased with the results and we can recommend J&J Tree Service without hesitation. read more

Jose and his crew are prompt, professional, courteous, pleasant and efficient. I hired him to remove two trees, stumps and roots which he did to my satisfaction. He discovered several leaks in my sprinkler system and repaired them. Today, he did a major "clean up" of my yard. In the future, he will help revamp my front yard using drought-tolerant plants, river rock and bark. One important caveat: Be specific with regard to the services and to the products (i.e. mulch and the additional "labor" cost of spreading the mulch) PRIOR to agreeing to the work. You do not want to be surprised by his bill as I was today. He and his crew do excellent work, but he is pricey. Just make sure you know exactly how much you will be charged. read more

I was really impressed with Jose and this tree service. He was very responsive via text and I had asked that we keep it contactless so we texted with any questions about the tree removal. Perfect. He took pictures when complete as I asked. When we went to see the work, you couldn't even tell there was a tree there. The area was cleaned up. Also great follow up. When I asked to send me a receipt, the owner sent it to me. The price was comparable to other quotes that said they were licensed but I couldn't verify and lower them two local companies. Overall I was happy and already shared with others. read more

Jose was great and easy to communicate with. He's friendly and has a great team! They cleaned up my palms perfectly and made sure to clean up really well after they were done. Will hire them again! They are the best! read more

I highly recommend J and his talented team. They went above and beyond to deliver quality service. He and his staff are trustworthy, reliable, professional, and courteous. He even provided me with tips and recommendations on improving the care and treatment of my lawn and garden. I contacted J & J on a Friday afternoon, and immediately heard back and received a quote. He was out the next morning as promised. I will definitely be a repeat customer and recommend him to my friends and family. read more

I had the pleasure of using J&J Services. Jose and 2 crew members arrived on time, and trimmed our 5 palms in 90 minuets. They did it professionally with care for rest of the garden And cleaned after. Jose was great. Easy to work with was able to schedule very fast after a windy storm caused a mess of our palm trees.

Jose was very professional. He showed up on time, presented me with his license, provided a fair bid, and competed the work exactly as we discussed. Would highly recommend! read more

Outstanding. Jose was able to give me a very reasonable quote within 24 hours, and then completed the work in a couple of days. They worked quickly and safely; as they brought to the right equipment to work around a phone line. Recommend without reservation. read more

Great customer service, professional, prompt and fair price. The owner Jose takes great care of the customer. We received a fair estimate to remove large trees and trim the other palms in the yard. Great job! Fast, affordable and professional. Jose and his team did a great job. I will use them in the future.

Jose answered his phone when I called, showed up later in the day to look at my job, quoted me that night and his team showed up the next day and knocked out the job. Jose is solid. Reliable and gets the job done. I had 3 other companies flake out and not show up. I hired him to do monthly maintenance also. Look no further. read more

This is an easy 5 star. From start to finish it couldn't have been a better experience. Jose and his team removed two queen palms and a few pygmy palms. Communication, quick response, great work and very good pricing on this project easily qualify this company for 5 stars. read more

Jose came and tackled a eucalyptus stump that wasn't interested in being ground down. But Jose persisted and as he ground he found a steel pole in a cement base inside the tree! and so Jose ground that down also and pursued the roots and I think he beat the eucalyptus! He came when he said he would and he did a great job and was pleasant to work with. I would definitely call him for other tree work. read more

These guys were timely and offered good service and value. I recommend them without hesitation.

Jose and his team are awesome! I needed a large jacaranda tree removed from my backyard (with stump grinding) and two palm trees trimmed. Jose was friendly, professional, and his quote was very reasonable. He was able to take care of the job within two days of giving us a quote and they did a spectacular job. Jose and team left my backyard cleaner than it was before and very nicely covered up the spot where the tree once stood with dirt and rocks - you can't tell a tree was ever there! I will definitely be calling Jose when I need tree services again. read more

Jose did what he said he would do for a reasonable price. No nonsense, just got the job done. He and his assistant were acrobats in my tree, removing an out of control vine that filled 6 trashcans. On time, good listeners, hard workers, true professionals. read more

Jose was very professional and responsive. We called on a Monday and he came out on Tuesday morning to give an estimate on trimming two Liquid Amber trees that hadn't been touched in 30 years. He immediately noticed the trees had worms and gave us a quote for trimming and treating them, as well as removing a dead apricot tree (including stump), and trimming some small palms in the yard. We decided to move forward and he came one week later with his crew. They were punctual and efficient and did an amazing job. In addition to all the tree work, they took away all the debris and left the yard very clean. We have already asked Jose to work on a plan for some additional landscaping in the backyard. We will definitely work with J&J Tree Service again and recommend them to others in the area. read more

Jose came by to view work and give me quotes in writting for details of each tree I wanted worked on, and when I decided to hire him, He and his crew, were on time, and did the work beyon what I thought was going to happen, a real artist with nature, and after wards all was cleaned and the whole feeling was one of joy and happiness . I am pretty senstive to people and was able to feel very comfortable, and flow with my own work knowning that Jose and his crew, were doing the work, they said they would, they are all very kind people and honest.I did not have to keep a eye and check on what was going on, I like how professioal they are, not pushy or arrogant but in the flow of my garden that has alot of small details that in the past when I have had tree work was not treated well, even my neighbor was happy with how they cleaned up and he now wants to hire them..! Plus they took the right amount of time to really see what was needed to be done, I have a few trees and large bushes that needed scluping, Jose did a great job, he will be somone I will hire again for sure..! J&J called back promptly, gave an estimate the same day and was able to accommodate my schedule request. Not the lowest bid, but I was thrilled that they were knowledgeable about palms and used ladders and ropes instead of climbing up the tree with spikes which leave terrible holes in the trunk. Worked neatly, cleaned up well afterwards and hauled away the palm branches. They even honored my request to hang my holiday lights on the palm trees after they were done. Highly recommend. read more
