I've now used Ramborista Tree Service twice over the last year for two different projects, and after working with four different tree service companies over the past 20+ years, I can honestly say they are by far the best. They were fairly priced, showed up when promised, and completed the work quickly while taking great care to avoid damaging any of the surrounding plants and landscaping. The owner and the entire crew were professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. What really impressed me was the attention to detail. When they finished, they cleaned everything so thoroughly that you would never know a large tree had ever been there. They even went above and beyond by taking the time to repair damaged irrigation lines, which I really appreciated and wasn't expecting. It's becoming harder and harder to find contractors who combine fair pricing, excellent workmanship, and outstanding customer service, but Ramborista delivered on all three. I won't be calling anyone else for tree work in the future, and I recommend them without hesitation. read more

They did an amazing job all around! Arrived on time and kept everything tidy while pruning the trees. I had a few quotes from other companies and I chose them because they came by and looked at the trees. Very personable and responsive. Lupe and his team of tree trimmers are amazing. They trimmed a giant black pine in the front yard. It is so beautifil. It could be a gigantic Christmas tree. Trimmed evenly and it looks light and airy. They trimmed many fruit trees in my back yard. Now everything looks beautiful. They cleaned up all tree trimmings and raked up the yard. Also, these men were so kind and joyous as they worked. Fast, efficient, beautifully balanced trimmed trees. Friendly happy guys. Got everything done quickly and without any stress on me. I had several giant pepper trees which needed to be removed. They were too close to the house and threatening to damage the roof. They were also hanging over the fence into the neighbor's yard. Lupe cut them down without damage to the fence, roof or out buildings, ground all stumps, hauled it all away and cleaned up in a day. He also removed several other smaller trees included in the price. This guy and his crew are professionals. Very happy with the job. I intend to have him tackle some eucalyptus trees next. He even has You Tube videos that are impressive to say the least. read more

Amazing, quick, and affordable service, as always. This is the second time we have had them come to our property to trim a few large oak trees. Communication was quick and easy, and the job was completed exactly as I expected. We had a small tree and some ivy branches growing along the house, and everything was removed cleanly. They left the area neat and tidy afterward, which I really appreciated. They also went above and beyond by helping repair a leaky water pipe near the house. Excellent service! I found these guys on Yelp and I'm very impressed by their work and their commitment to my plan. They arrived on time and immediately got to work. It is clear that this team is very professional and everything they accomplished deserves 5 stars or more. They trimmed 8 queen palms, 6 pine trees, and 2 bushes trees. Their work isn't expensive and you can negotiate with them. After they did the job they got rid of any other mess and left the place looking spot-clean. They left such beauty that our neighbors were very happy and asked for their contact. I highly recommend Mr. Lupe and his team. I will recommend them to friends and family. read more

Excellent service. Received a quote the day before the work began. We had two very large trees that hadn't been trimmed in 5 years, so they had grown quite large. Ramborista sent out an experienced crew. Brought the trees back under control, protected our property with tarps and plywood, removed all cut limbs, and cleaned up very well. The really knew what they were doing and worked in a very safe manner. The team was professional and courteous. I will definitely call them again when the need arises and would highly recommend them to my friends, neighbors, and those of you who are reading this review. read more

WOW...this company was amazing! I am having some concrete work done at my house and the concrete company found a huge root. Great work! Responded promptly to request and was able to fit the job in the next day. Professional and clean. Highly recommended!

Lupe and team was fantastic. They were safe, clean, and did amazing work. 10/10 would recommend.

I reached out to Ramborista Tree Service for a quote on trimming 2 pine trees. This business was extremely prompt with providing a quote and completing the work. We ended up requiring additional work (decided to cut down the trees completely and grind out the stumps and roots) and Ramborista Tree Service completed the second stage of the work very promptly and efficiently as well. Their rates are extremely reasonable. The workers were very knowledgeable, professional, and skilled. They informed me that I would need to contact 811 dig as we planned to excavate the area. They completed both stages of the work as requested, hauled the debris and cleaned up very well after both projects. I would highly recommend this business and would definitely use them again for any of my tree needs. read more

Quality service as other reviewers have stated. When requesting an estimate by phone, Lupe drove 30 miles, from his job site, into the back country, to inspect the landscape and provide an estimate on the same day! Another company eventually got back to us and requested digital pictures of the palm trees to be removed in order to provide an estimate. Excellent customer service and work! I requested a quote at 9pm and was able to get a quote and schedule the work for the next morning which was a holiday in a matter of minutes. Lupe and the crew were a pleasure to work with. Responsive and timely communications even as requirements changed due to the expert consultation they provided, which took things in a different direction. I don't think you will find a better price or a friendlier service. Goes without saying that the work done was excellent and the site was left cleaner than it had been. I especially appreciated that while grinding out a stump near the swimming pool, they held up 2, 4 by 8 pieces of plywood to shield it from debris. In fact, much of the work was done around the pool and I pulled less than two skimmers full of material out of it. Highly recommended. read more

Needed 2 palm trees groomed, trimmed. Was first to respond and come out, then hired him on the spot. Lupe is a trained arborist so climbs the tree fully outfitted including safety helmet, rappelling gear, and crampons. His wife is his assistant. Wr agreed on a price, and he cleaned up the hanging bark and trimmed the trees, then cleaned up and hauled away all the stuff, including sweeping up (actually used a blower) so that the yard was left pristine. Great job, fair price. 5 stars and who I call next time. read more

Recently bought our new house in La Costa and love the shaded courtyard inside our gate, but the tree was getting big, shaggy, and starting to branch out over our roof and that of our neighbors. We wanted to have it trimmed back to keep both homes out of danger of falling branches, and thin it out to keep it healthy, but still keep enough that it would grow back full enough to provide shade by spring and summer. After searching Yelp, we went with this service because they provided the best estimate. They responded promptly to my Yelp message, I sent photos of the tree and house and got an estimate same day. After some consideration, booked later and they scheduled to arrive a few days later. Team arrived promptly and after a brief conversation to confirm the desired work (thin out, prune away from houses, trim top), they set to work. Six or seven workers moved in harmony as they laid out tarps to protect the yard, hoisted each other into the tree to work, cleared away the branches and fallen debris into the towed chipper they brought and swept up on their way out. They were in and out in under 90 minutes, the surfaces were cleaner than when they arrived, and the tree looks great. We are so happy to have it trimmed up exactly as we wanted, and they charged exactly what the estimate said. Would definitely call them again next time! read more
