They helped to transform a so-so tract home front yard into something attractive and our pile of dirt back yard into something beautiful. Along the way, Roy was good at communicating with us and his team. His team are masters at their craft and take pride in their work. Their attention to detail with things we didn't even think of was appreciated - such as adding a small grade to the patio so water all flows into the drains they installed. When we miscommunicated or if something wasn't up to our extremely high standards (like we wanted one side of the firepit to be moved over 3/4"), Roy simply had his team fix it. The other big plus was Roy's willingness and ability to communicate with our pool contractor. I barely was involved. Both of them discussed plans and Roy listened to what our pool contractor needed for drainage around the pool and how tile should be placed around the pool cover well. I didn't have to worry about gas lines, drainage etc.. they figured out what needed to be done between them. Roy typically focuses on 1-2 jobs at a time, so there was momentum on our job. We saw many of our neighbors abandoned by their contractors half way, disappearing for a month or more, but Roy's team kept showing up, and got our job done quite quickly. When we had issues with our polymeric sand setting (something to do with our tile - Roy used the same polymeric sand and base at other sites and it worked), Roy and his team persisted in finding a solution. Even though everything was pretty much done, they tried several times to make things right. Finally, we found an Irish product on Amazon that did the trick. It's not a product typically sold in the US and is applied differently from regular polymeric sand. Roy made sure his team watched the videos and went over the instructions with them so the product was applied correctly. We are so happy he helped us find a solution (and we learned a lesson - sometimes it's better to stay away from super cheap, need to clear the store room, product)! In summary, working with Roy Murillo and his crew was a great experience. His pricing is reasonable (I compared several landscapers), and he and his crew truly know what they are doing. I have recommended them to family and neighbors and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

These things are all basic work that is required for my lawn. Yelp Projects for Landscaping Maintenance responded back very quickly yesterday. I was sent 5 different Landscaping Services that were from text messaging me on my Yelp personal account yesterday. Leo the owner from Edenview Gardening Services was the first business owner that sent me his text message last night. I responded back to his text messages to me last night at 6 p. m. There were also two other Landscaping Services that send me text messages on their grass cutting services afterwards that was last evening also. The reason my lawn was really tall and the weeds were not removed from my previous gardener his name is Pedro is because, I tried calling him and texting him at least three times. Pedro would not respond back to my text messages until one day later. Pedro keeps giving me his excuses he told me he is very busy with his other customers and it's okay with him for me to find someone else to cut my lawn. Pedro my previous gardener has been with me for 3.5 years. I believe that Pedro was very unprofessional in not respecting me as his loyal long term customer. I realized Pedro is not very smart in not appreciating my business with him. I made the decision today that Pedro has lost me as his permanent customer for life. It's unfortunate that Pedro acted this way to me because I even gave him FREE Garden Equipment that when he saw these things in my mom's garage and he asked me if he can have these items for Free. These used Garden Equipment cost my dad a lot of money. I didn't like Pedro asking me to have these items for Free like a working Gas Lawn Mower, an Electric Weed-eater, and a Insecticide Pump Sprayer. Pedro also asked me if he can have one FREE Shovel and one FREE Broom. I had to discuss with my mom if he can have these things for Free without being charged some money for our compensation. My mom is a very generous person and she told me yes but not to give Pedro anything else. Pedro finally did offer to pay me $40.00 for this one used Insecticide Pump Sprayer . It's a working item. Pedro also asked me if he can have my dad's expensive Metal Ladder from FREE. It was the last straw with me! I said No. I told Pedro he needs to buy his own garden equipment and not expect to get FREE Garden Equipment from me his customer. His greediness towards me isn't right. This is the 4th Gardener I have hired to maintain my moms yard. The reason is because these previous gardeners aren't dependable and after they work for me after one year they start to get lazy in arriving late and sitting in their truck like Pedro. This is my main reason that I have to find a New Landscaping Company to hire today on a regular basis. Leo the owner and Floyd his partner did a great job on removing these tall weeds in the front yard from the roots it was a labor intensive job. Also Leo and Floyd were cutting my front and back yard. Also using the edging equipment and the blower to clean up the sidewalk area. I highly recommend Leo's Edenview Gardening Services. I told Leo today he will have my business as his loyal customer due to Leo gave me an affordable price at $50.00, he was on time, my appointment with Leo was at 8 a.m. this morning and I received quality work. These 3 things are very important qualities I look for in me wanting to have a long term business relationship with any company. Especially Edenview Gardening Services I am so fortunate to have found this awesome landscaping company by using the Yelp Projects feature on the Yelp website. COVID put the person I always used in the past, so I searched for someone new. When Thomas came out, he listened to me and explained why I didn't need that service. He explained how each clump of blades is an individual plant, taking tens of thousands of plants to make up my yard. We even discussed where Bermuda grass was slowly taking over in one area of the yard. Because of his knowledge and how he explained things, I decided to give him a chance to do what he suggested. Power seed and fertilize, followed by a fertilization and soil treatment one month later. For the price, I thought if it worked, it was a good value, and if it didn't, I would find someone to aerate in the fall. I can not be happier. The Bermuda grass area has shrunk over ninety percent in three months. The lawn is thicker than I ever had it in the past, and I will admit greener than I would get, and I took pride in how green my grass stayed. The long stretch is what I call the dog run. My eighty-pound German Shepherd and I run up and back along this stretch of grass during two daily play sessions (morning and afternoon). The other photo is a patch of grass with minimal traffic unless we have a party with kids.
