We called around to several tree services and happened upon 3 Brothers. They responded within minutes to trim 2 tall palm trees...40 ft and 65ft. Within an hour they had their crew down in Cardiff removing and trimming fronds and loading them up on their truck to dump. All this for 400.00(my husband did bargain a little) They were anywhere from 200-800 dollars less than the bids we were given. The owner is honest and does not try to upsell you. We highly recommend! read more

Amazing service. Had them work on multiple cypress, palms, wall of ficus. They were very careful and organized. They listened to what we wanted and did everything above and beyond. We appreciated their lighter touch as we like our shrubbery and trees to have a more natural look. They also cleaned up their workspaces and brought clean drop cloths with them for cars. Very hard working group. Highly recommend for prompt, professional tree maintenance. read more

The team did great work, especially since both trees they cut back still actually look like trees vs. a radical cut. Great listening to our desired outcomes and they achieved it! Worked quickly, safely, and did a great clean-up afterwards. Very efficient and good value for our money! read more

Had a great experience with these guys. They removed a pretty large ficus tree, a few smaller trees and then a bunch of pepper trees and 2 large yuccas that were on a major slope. These guys did great cleaning up everything and trying to get to the roots on that hill. I was impressed with how much they got rid of those pesky pepper trees and the hill has remained clean for a few months now. This wasn't an easy job with a funky corner of my lot going up to a triangle corner on the hill. Super impressed with their work. I got a few quotes and they were very competitive and were on time and on schedule. I would recommend them and would consider them again in the future. read more

I highly recommend Three Brothers! We got a letter from the Vista Fire Department demanding that our camphor tree be cut back to greater than 10 feet from our house. Alberto came out and handled everything for us. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. His team made precise, healthy cuts that kept the tree's shape while adhering to the Vista fire guidelines. And they thinned it enough so that we won't have to have it redone anytime soon. My neighbor was so impressed, she ran over and had them trim her tree! read more

Francisco and the team were efficient, thoughtful, and clearly skilled! Great experience taking out our 25+ foot tree. Excellent job cleaning up after. Would 10/10 recommend and use them again. They didn't ask for a review either! Quality through and through. read more

Highly recommend Three Brothers. Very good communication from Alberto and Francisco. The crew cut down a diseased 35' Mexican palm and trimmed two queens for very competitive and reasonable price. Start to finish including clean up was 4 hours. Looks great! read more

They responded on the same day as I requested an estimate. They provided a written estimate within 24 hours and work was completed within 4 days of initial contact. The crew arrived at the stated time and completed within the time estimate of the job. The crew was positive and requested input on tree shaping as the work progressed. Other than a nicely trimmed and shaped palm you wouldn't know that they were even here. The work site was cleaned up and trimmings hauled away. We will definitely be calling them again. I would highly recommend Three Brothers Tree Service. I requested a quote and in less than a day someone came out to see my tree. The quote was fabulous! Half of what I was quoted from other companies and they came out the same day to provide me the service I needed. The guys were professional and I love how my tree turned out! Will definitely work with them moving forward. read more

Was responsive, and got the job down without any issues. The only down side was the flexibility necessary on our end with being available for them to come to the house. However, this may be because it was a smaller job than they normally do, which is why I agreed to be more flexible, since they needed to squeeze in between other jobs. After initial bid, which we agreed to, we heard nothing for about a week, when they finally responded a week later. Once they responded they agreed to the following afternoon. The next days, 'afternoon' ended up being around 5pm that evening. Thankfully we were able to make that work for us, but aside from that they were responsive and did exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend. read more

These guys are FANTASTIC. Competitively priced with top notch work. We hired them to remove a tree. Arrived on time, and immediately the 3 guys went to work. Stripping the tree of branches individual while making sure it didn't hurt the house or the fence it was next too. Then they strategically cut the trunk into small pieces. Meanwhile two guys are carrying all the debris to the truck with the wood chipper. When taking out the stump they use two big 4' x 4' plywood sheets to make sure nothing hit the house, or a window. Their clean up was immaculate. And they did it all in about 1-1/2 hours. If I could give 10 stars instead of 5, I would! I've put in before and after pixs below. read more

Crew showed up on time but nothing about the job had been communicated. They tried to use SPIKES on a tree pruning job. They trashed my yard--crushed my herbaceous plants and drop limbs into my shrubs. Drove heavy equipment onto my walkway and crushed stones. Drove same equipment into my yard over plants. Had to tell them to go back up the tree to clean up bad work. Parked chipper right next to neighbors car. No one spoke great English and I don't speak Spanish but this was a nightmare. read more

Alberto managed our first contact via yelp and was friendly, fast to respond, reasonably priced, and worked with me to check out the tree first that's my neighbor's hanging over on our side at my place in Escondido. I talked to the neighbor first to let them know. He was able to get me in with a crew of a bunch of guys the same week! The crew showed up on time, very respectful, and cleaned up afterwords nicely. I would defiantly use them again. They were super quick too. I never needed anything like this before, so thought it was going to be a lot of loud chainsaw and chips all morning, but they were in and out with a big crew in no time! read more

Reading these reviews I think I was lied to. They cut down some Madrone, an Oak and a Pine tree for us last November. They told me they were a new company, I am one of their first customers and can they put a sign up in my front yard. The verbal estimate they gave me sounded very fair so I thought I would give them a try and help them get their business going instead of using the tree service company I usually use. Included in the estimate was they clean up the branches afterwards. They cut down the trees just fine but when they were done, I had 3 HUGE burn piles. I was shocked about the burn piles. They told me to call my local fire department and they will help with the burns. That was absolutely not true! I am also reading reviews now from 7/8 years ago. The other tree service I usually use took any and all branches and used a grinder to get rid of them. My mistake was not getting their estimate in writing. I still have these burn piles because I don't do burns. read more

REVIEW for their promptness, professionalism and thoroughness of their quote. We sent out a request for a bid and Alberto was quick to respond and very professional. When he came for the free estimate inspection, he practiced all C19 safety protocols of wearing a mask and maintaining a safe distance. He also pointed out items that needed to be addressed that we were not aware of - i.e. the giant birds of paradise should NOT be close to our hardscape as the root bulb can eventually crack it. I appreciate the thoroughness of his site visit and his observation of the potential damage our giant birds of paradise presented next to the hardscape. The only reason we did not use 3 brother's is their bid was about double of our most competitive bid. To put in perspective - 3 brothers was going to trim the birds much tighter, going to dig out the root bulbs that were in danger of damaging our hardscape, AND were going to haul off the majority of our giant birds of paradise that are know to be so wet an challenging to run through a wood chopper - hence the "dump charges" were included that accounted for the higher amount. I would highly recommend having them give you a bid as I felt they were honest, they were definitely competitive (all our bids came in from $1,000 - $3,030 and for our job they were $1,895). Just make sure you are comparing "apples" to "oranges" but either way - they will give you a very competitive rate and based on their reviews - do a very good job! read more

This is the second year that we have used 3 brothers for palm trimming and tree removal. They are professional, courteous and do a great job. We've had shrubbery removed, ivy taken down and removed, and whole trees taken out. All their work was done quickly and with care. We have underground irrigation so we were expecting some damage due to the fact that they can't see 2 feet underground when stump grinding. We tested the system, found the breaks and they were immediately repaired. In most cases, the repairs actually improved the system due to its age. They offered us advice on maintenance which we really appreciated. All in all, we had a fantastic experience and will keep using the brothers for all our tree trimming/removal needs. read more

We contacted Alberto who was prompt in responding, and very professional in explaining our options and then following through with excellent work - in removing the tree, the roots, then a very thorough clean up. Because we were out of town and couldn't be present, he sent us photos of the work and kept us informed at all times. The tree roots had affected our neighbor's property, and Alberto kept him informed as well. We as well as our neighbors are very pleased and would certainly recommend Three Brothers. read more

I would have given 10 stars if I could have. They were so accommodating. I received an estimate weeks ago, but couldn't start until I had confirmation from my neighbors. I finally received a response, recontacted Anthony, and was fortunate enough that they had availability in my area the same day They laced and trimmed my huge rubber tree, cut back the overgrowth of a neighbor's tree, and shaped my giant bird of paradise and cleaned up all the debris. What a huge difference, I highly recommend Three Brothers Tree Service. read more
