Baked Portuguese Pork chop on fried rice.

Great food. I usually get takeout and they are quick. Prices are reasonable. Feels like home cooking.

This review is based on my takeout order so I didn't eat in just to clarify. The food is super good! I got one of the fried rice dishes and I couldn't stop eating it. My friend got the wonton noodle soup and I liked how they kept the noodles separate from the soup. The store itself was really small but getting our orders was super quick so maybe watch out for space if you're trying to eat in?

E16) pork chop w cheese and tomato sauce

Live relatively close to Hancock St, but hadn't tried Jinye Cafe yet. Would definitely come back! My partner and I ordered T8) sandwich w tomato and egg, E1) tapioca w taro sweet soup, and E16) pork chop w cheese and tomato sauce - TASTE: 4/5 - everything hit the spot. Though super simple, the sandwich was tasty. Tong sui is one of my favorite desserts, and theirs was definitely sweet. The pork chop was the star of the show though; all of the cheese and sweet tomato flavors combined well w the rice and pork. Sinful! It also came w soup as an appetizer, which was a nice surprise TEXTURE: 5/5 - the toast was just right, and you can't beat the combo of tapioca and taro. Again, the pork chop was on point w gooey cheese, fried pork, and a base of rice to pull it all together. Couldn't get over how well done it was lol PRICE: 5/5 - our total came out to $31, great value! SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - the sandwich options are definitely light, and the pork chop is a satisfying dinner serving in a large tray SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 5:30pm on a Wednesday and were the only party dining in, though plenty of folks came in and out to grab their takeout. Our food started coming out 15min later, and the staff was friendly ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - a small, tight space w approx. five tables PARKING: 4/5 - Hancock St has plenty of two-hour free street spots, but can be hit or miss w availability. We got lucky w a spot directly in front of Jinye

Pork Chop with Curry Sauce without cheese

This is a Hong Kong Style Cafe. It is not authentic but close enough because there is not much of this type of cafe around. Lots of menu selections. Suggestion to order take out because it is a very small place. Our order: Scallion Pancake, Hot & Sour soup, Shanghai Fried Noodle, Baked Pork Chop Rice with Tomato Sauce & Cheese and Baked Yellow Curry Pork Chop Rice. Scallion pancake was thin and crunchy but not too fluffy and didn't come with any sauce. My daughter liked it so no complaint. Hot and Sour soup was very good and good portion for the price. It has a kick but not too spicy that it burns. Thick consistency and good amount of veggies/tofu in the soup. Shanghai Fried Noodle's flavor was tasty. The noodle used was a thick udon so it was little chewy for me. For the baked rice dishes, they are fried pork chop over fried rice topped with sauce and cheese. Then it is baked to brown the cheese/sauce. It also came with a complimentary house soup loaded with veggies. They were delish and actually baked! I had this dish at other places and it is half baked with tasteless "not so fried" rice. This is a dish I will get again! Overall: I will definitely come back to try other menu items. There are too many items to try in one visit. I highly recommend the baked rice dish with either sauce and the hot and sour soup.

Ordered two things from this place, and below are bonus came with my food: 1. Tiny facial hair in my park chop over rice 2. Eyelashes on the chicken 3. More and more miscellaneous trashes in the daily soup I have never seen this much "things shouldn't belong in food" items in any restaurant. Bravo,Jinye! just bravo. Would recommended to anyone that wants scavenger hunt.

Chicken chop with cheese & yellow curry

Of note, it was harder to order takeout in English since it is an authentic HK cafe. She also hung up before telling me the cost and how long it would take (took ~45 min, longer than usual for take out). And for people who want to dine in, it seats around 10 people. I got two rice plates for take out- chicken chop with cheese and yellow curry (R21) with fried rice for +$1. It tasted great, more of a guilty pleasure food because the curry was creamy/heavy. And portions are also big (for me it was 2 meals). Will likely be back to try other items!

Beef and Eggs w fried rice - had tons of beef! A lot is hidden under. Salt and Pepper Pork chops are phenomenal. Worth the price and wait.

-good portions and quick service -fair pricing and cheaper than most places that offer similar dishes -food was seasoned very well -fried chicken wings were marinated before frying and were juicy and flavorful (my new favorite place for salt and pepper wings!) -Beef chow fun was well seared and not too salty. Beef was well tenderized, fresh and good quality -Hong Kong tea was too watery. Food options are much better -Concubine chicken isn't dry like most places it's moist and flavorful -Baked pork over fried rice came out piping hot. The fried rice is phenomenal. Next time I will get it a full size fried rice portion.

Totally incongruous with the surrounding environment. Walked in... nothing fancy. Maybe 5 tables. The food was just not good. I had the big wonton soup ( the one with all the extras ). Ground Pork W.preserved Vegetables Clay Pot Rice梅菜肉餅煲仔飯: The English translation is already a bit misleading. This dish should be pork patty with preserved mustard greens, but what was served didn't match either component. First, this was not meicai梅菜(preserved mustard greens). Proper meicai should be dark brown and fibrous even after soaking, whereas this consisted of pale yellow granules, both in appearance and taste much closer to dongcai冬菜 (preserved Chinese cabbages). While dongcai can appear in some clay pot rice dishes, this was clearly not what it should be. Second, this was not a pork patty. The meat was simply loose minced pork scattered on top of the rice, without any mixing or shaping. As a result, it lacked the cohesion, tenderness, and springy texture that define a proper pork patty. There was even a slight sour note, which felt off. Third, the "claypot sauce" was surprisingly slightly viscous, like Singaporean dark soy sauce, and had a strong ginger flavor. I also tried the rice roll sauce; it had a normal soy sauce texture, but the ginger flavor was still very strong, meaning it was still not authentic. Given the stated Taishan background, the lack of traditional structure and technique in this clay pot rice was quite surprising. Compared to Clay Pot Cafe in Boston Chinatown, which offers a way more authentic execution, the difference becomes even more apparent. That said, to be fair, the rice itself was decent: grains were distinct, and there was a noticeable wok aroma. Milk Tea: The old menu called it "Hong Kong style milk tea," while the new menu simply said "milk tea," which seems more accurate. It was bitter at first, then intensely sweet, not fragrant at all--very weird. As someone who grew up in Guangdong, it's honestly frustrating to see it reduced to something so off. If you're looking for an authentic Cantonese clay pot rice experience, this would likely be a disappointing stop.

Though not a Thai restaurant, their Tom Yum noodle soup is just the best. They let you choose the type of noodle you want which is really nice if you want to customize and have a preference for noodles. Other favorites I recommend from the menu are the fried oysters and the green tea smoothie. Wish I could recommend more since it's such a big menu but I keep sticking to the same things so I can't personally speak to them. Others have tried the rice dishes etc and liked them a lot as well so I really don't think you can go wrong.

I started with chicken wings assuming they'd be actual chicken wings in line with say, Chinese restaurants. Instead, I got the cheap breaded, seemingly frozen, garbage sold at a dime a dozen pizza/sub places. They are low quality nonsense...and $11. Hilarious. I also got the rib eye beef and enoki ramen noodles. Listen, there is roughly 5lbs of it. 3 adults can share it. But Quincy has endless options for authentic Asian food and that's what we want--quality over quantity, Asian food with fresh, quality ingredients. See the pictures. It is a mound of overcooked mush with extremely/borderline inedible fatty meat and equally mushy enoki mushrooms hidden here and there. When I know for a fact that I could cook a stir fry ramen that is ten times better than what I just paid $20 for, there is zero reason to return to your restaurant, and I won't.

What!? $25 charge per person for a late cancellation? I wasn't planning on no-showing, but I'm also not willing to put my credit card down to commit for a group. Cloud Asian Fusion is in the corner of the plaza that houses China Pearl and Kam Man, to the right of Kam Man. It is a long narrow type space. Rather industrial, and concrete. I arrived first and scored the last table in the room with the bar, only to later discover that there were a few tables in the room in the back to the right. My DCs were running late, so I gave our waiter a head's up. He never made me feel bad for taking up the space. And it helped that there was never a queue waiting to be seated that Sunday night. We each ordered our own meal while sharing bites. While there are a few entrees at Cloud Asian Fusion that include both protein and vegetable, such as the Braised White Fish $22 (assorted mushrooms, fried tofu) one DC ordered, mine (Siam Crab Curry $22 - lump crab, spicy red curry, basil, bean sprouts, Thai Chili, thin rice noodles) and my other DC's (Mapo Katsu $16 (chicken katsu, mapo sauce, short grain white rice, furikake) came without (I don't count the small stash of raw bean sprouts on my plate), so I added the blistered green beans $16. Our server was pleasant and told me that they could make anything less mild. Even so, the slow burn from the milder Siam Crab Curry was a bit more than I would have liked. He checked up on me and offered to have the chef prepare a fresh batch with a milder curry powder instead, so I could better enjoy my meal. The original orange yellow of my crab curry bowl was turned a green yellow in its replacement. But it was still tasty, and still generous with lump crab meat. This was a good pick! The green bean vegetable dish was quite good too. I was happy with my meal. I sampled the other two dishes and found the regular mapo sauce recipe too spicy for my taste. The fish dish was tasty, but we found nothing especially fusion about it. 3 stars all around experience, but 4 stars for my own meal.
