This was all I received for my pu pu platter when I ordered on DoorDash yesterday. They also didn't give me the free duck sauce that comes with the platter. Just the extra I paid for. They definitely ripped me off. I've always liked their food. But after this debacle I'm all set.

Packaged well. Wings cooked thoroughly. Fingers are meaty. Great flavor, just a bit oily.

China Station has officially reopened after being closed for over a month for construction! They reopened last Thursday and inside they have drastically redecorated their space to encourage distancing between customers and working personnel. They have totally covered the cashier desk with plastic, glass, and boxes to act as a protective barrier. You pay through a small window and then they push your food out to you through another window with a pickup sign. They are strictly take out and have no tables for dine in. Their hours are roughly the same, but they close earlier now.

Egg in my rice which I told home not to put due to allergies I'm don't with them for this one simple mistake

I placed an order ver the phone and the husband took my order. I reiterated over and over again onion ONLY IN MY RICE why in Gods name did he not listen I have serious allergies to food and they don't care.

I've been searching for the best Chinese Delivery in Dorchester. I've ordered from many places off Foodler and although some were Good...there hasn't been that one that made a huge lasting impression...UNTIL NOW! They aren't on Foodler, I actually found them through Yelp when searching for Best Delivery. They have such great reviews, I had to give them a chance. So, I ordered 2 combination plates for myself & my mother. 1) Beef w/ Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice, & Chicken Wings, AND 2) General Gau's Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, & Boneless Spare Ribs. So....the food is SOOOO filling and good! The rice was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The Beef & Broccoli was amazing. The beef was very tender, i finished it all! Broccoli wasn't hard to eat and wasn't too mushy either. As I'm writing this review, my mouth is watering thinking about the food last night. I took away one star because when I ordered, they told me delivery time is between 30-40 minutes and it took almost an hour to come. I mean, it was the first time I ordered from there, and it's winter, I'm giving them a free pass for that. This place is my GO TO chinese delivery place from now on! If you haven't tried it, please do! It is THAT good!

General Gau's (not sure the exact dish, I don't have a menu but they were very nice about it and got me what I wanted)

Living around here, it can be difficult to find good "American style" Chinese food. There's tons of great authentic Asian cuisine, but when you want real Chinese fast food it can be difficult if you don't know where to go. This is hands down the best in the area. Friendly staff, quick delivery, and the food is always cooked to perfection. The General Gau's is awesome. They don't try and over-do it with orange peels or whole chiles, just very flavorful sauce with small pieces of chiles mixed in. The rice is moist and flavorful, as are the spare ribs. The crab rangoon are also very good, sometimes they aren't as crispy as I'd like, but they do have crab in them, not just cream cheese like a lot of places are going to nowadays to save a buck. If these guys upload a menu online and create a website, their business will explode!

    6 min away won't deliver

I was looking forward to getting Chinese that actually looked good and went through the pictures, got all my friends orders and called for delivery. When I told her the address she said they don't go that far. I said it's less than a mile away and she insisted. I googled it in maps and I am 6 min away. Are you f**king kidding?!

Shanghai Classic Pork Pan-Fried Buns上海生煎饅頭: I was instantly hooked! It's hard to imagine finding such good pan-fried buns in the US. Almost every table ordered them, so they were all freshly made, piping hot. The bun was made with unleavened dough, making it chewy and refreshing, with a light, crispy bottom--not oily or hard. The meat filling was substantial and tender, with plenty of broth (see picture). It was sweeter than salty, incredibly umami. The chili oil was also very fragrant, and dipping it in Zhenjiang vinegar enhanced the flavor and cut through the greasiness. Shredded Pork & Preserved Vegetable Noodle Soup雪菜肉絲麵: The noodles were thin and round, with a soft, mushy texture. While the noodles were clearly machine-made, this isn't a problem in the Yangtze River Delta region; the issue was likely overcooking. The shredded pork were well-stirred, with tender meat, but the noodles lacked flavor. They had to be eaten with the pickled mustard greens雪菜 to be slightly salty, and the umami flavor was severely diluted. The tableware is all disposable, and tipping is not mandatory. It's quite affordable.

They come out piping hot and fresh, and can kind of be hazardous if you bite into them too quickly and cause the soup to spurt out. I don't think I've had better ones in the states! In fact, even in Shanghai, it's kind of hard to find good ones sometimes (at least ones that serve them all day and not just for breakfast). It's more of a takeout place as it's rather small, but the interior is clean and bright.

Beef and tripe was very well seasoned and no weird taste at all. The duck blood is the best duck blood in Boston, very tender and delicious. Even though the restaurant was super super busy, a lot of people waiting for a seat, and there was only one server, a very friendly man, we had water refilled and all the dishes arrived quickly. I requested one dish to be non-spicy, and they were able to accommodate that. The only thing was that both dishes were a little bit too salty than my liking. Our server was attentive and replenished our water for the table as soon as they were empty without our even asking. Food 5/5: every dish we ordered represented Sichuan flavors well, especially the spiciness of it! Our favorites were the eggplant with spicy garlic sauce, with the chengdu dry hot chicken and the string beans. The braised beef with Napa cabbage and mapo tofu were also delicious. Ambience 3/5: super loud. It wasn't even the music, it was that people's conversations were bouncing off the walls in a small space such that it was not possible to hear the other people in my group except who I was sitting next to. I saw several dates there and hopefully they could hear each other ok. Drinks: 2/5 overpriced and disappointing. My Negroni was ok but my husband's Manhattan tasted watery like it had been shaken instead of stirred and the melon highball tastes medicine-y. Overall a good experience because we were hungry and the food was amazing. We made up for not hearing each other well by taking an evening stroll and talking as we walked.
