Packaged well. Wings cooked thoroughly. Fingers are meaty. Great flavor, just a bit oily.

Never eating here again. I was charged over 20 bucks for something that added up to less than 19. When the issue is inflation or they over charged me I don't know and don't care. I can buy far higher quality and health-wise food for this amount of money.

China Station has officially reopened after being closed for over a month for construction! They reopened last Thursday and inside they have drastically redecorated their space to encourage distancing between customers and working personnel. They have totally covered the cashier desk with plastic, glass, and boxes to act as a protective barrier. You pay through a small window and then they push your food out to you through another window with a pickup sign. They are strictly take out and have no tables for dine in. Their hours are roughly the same, but they close earlier now.

Egg in my rice which I told home not to put due to allergies I'm don't with them for this one simple mistake

I placed an order ver the phone and the husband took my order. I reiterated over and over again onion ONLY IN MY RICE why in Gods name did he not listen I have serious allergies to food and they don't care.

I've been searching for the best Chinese Delivery in Dorchester. I've ordered from many places off Foodler and although some were Good...there hasn't been that one that made a huge lasting impression...UNTIL NOW! They aren't on Foodler, I actually found them through Yelp when searching for Best Delivery. They have such great reviews, I had to give them a chance. So, I ordered 2 combination plates for myself & my mother. 1) Beef w/ Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice, & Chicken Wings, AND 2) General Gau's Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, & Boneless Spare Ribs. So....the food is SOOOO filling and good! The rice was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The Beef & Broccoli was amazing. The beef was very tender, i finished it all! Broccoli wasn't hard to eat and wasn't too mushy either. As I'm writing this review, my mouth is watering thinking about the food last night. I took away one star because when I ordered, they told me delivery time is between 30-40 minutes and it took almost an hour to come. I mean, it was the first time I ordered from there, and it's winter, I'm giving them a free pass for that. This place is my GO TO chinese delivery place from now on! If you haven't tried it, please do! It is THAT good!

General Gau's (not sure the exact dish, I don't have a menu but they were very nice about it and got me what I wanted)

Living around here, it can be difficult to find good "American style" Chinese food. There's tons of great authentic Asian cuisine, but when you want real Chinese fast food it can be difficult if you don't know where to go. This is hands down the best in the area. Friendly staff, quick delivery, and the food is always cooked to perfection. The General Gau's is awesome. They don't try and over-do it with orange peels or whole chiles, just very flavorful sauce with small pieces of chiles mixed in. The rice is moist and flavorful, as are the spare ribs. The crab rangoon are also very good, sometimes they aren't as crispy as I'd like, but they do have crab in them, not just cream cheese like a lot of places are going to nowadays to save a buck. If these guys upload a menu online and create a website, their business will explode!

    6 min away won't deliver

I was looking forward to getting Chinese that actually looked good and went through the pictures, got all my friends orders and called for delivery. When I told her the address she said they don't go that far. I said it's less than a mile away and she insisted. I googled it in maps and I am 6 min away. Are you f**king kidding?!

Shanghai Classic Pork Pan-Fried Buns上海生煎饅頭: I was instantly hooked! It's hard to imagine finding such good pan-fried buns in the US. Almost every table ordered them, so they were all freshly made, piping hot. The bun was made with unleavened dough, making it chewy and refreshing, with a light, crispy bottom--not oily or hard. The meat filling was substantial and tender, with plenty of broth (see picture). It was sweeter than salty, incredibly umami. The chili oil was also very fragrant, and dipping it in Zhenjiang vinegar enhanced the flavor and cut through the greasiness. Shredded Pork & Preserved Vegetable Noodle Soup雪菜肉絲麵: The noodles were thin and round, with a soft, mushy texture. While the noodles were clearly machine-made, this isn't a problem in the Yangtze River Delta region; the issue was likely overcooking. The shredded pork were well-stirred, with tender meat, but the noodles lacked flavor. They had to be eaten with the pickled mustard greens雪菜 to be slightly salty, and the umami flavor was severely diluted. The tableware is all disposable, and tipping is not mandatory. It's quite affordable.

Both Cantonese and Mandarin were seamlessly spoken. Shrimp Rice Roll / Egg: It looked very appealing. However, the soy sauce was ridiculously sweet, much sweeter than in China, completely exceeding the standard "umami and sweet" of the authentic Cantonese cheung fun腸粉 (rice roll) soy sauce. The cheung fun skin was somehow overcooked, so some parts without egg at the bottom were soggy from soaking in the soy sauce, making the whole roll quite greasy. I have to admire my culinary acumen: I managed to preserve most of the skin's basic texture with the extra egg. Fortunately, the shrimp were fresh enough, six in a serving, with a crispy texture. Oh well, since I'm in America, it's tolerable. I must say, I would never have come here specifically for this, never in my life. Spending $10+ on a plate of cheung fun after traveling so far, will make me feel more like a sucker than ever before!
