They've got tons of options and everything we ordered was very solid. We definitely went more of the carbs route, but you can deviate as well. Nothing of major note in terms of service or atmosphere. It's not the most upscale of restaurants, but it does the trick. I'd happily return, especially for some steamed buns!

Believe it or not, our Latino Uber driver told us about Quincy, MA on D2 of our first Boston trip a…read morefew weeks ago. He said that it's a predominantly Chinese community. So ofc I had to look it up and find a good dim sum place. I had low expectations going in. We called just to make sure they were open as we realize businesses in MA don't pick up their phones. Not only did someone answer but agreed to save a table for us during prime dim sum hours. (Excuse me...what?). Something is learned in MA is always factor in traffic, no matter what Google Maps says. It's nothing fancy when you walk in. You can tell a lot of locals hang up and meet up with friends here. Ah Wah welcomed us in, being seated immediately to the table along the wall, near the storage. The order sheet with pictures was given and immediately checked off our staple items. -Siu Mai This was DD's favorite of all time and she is the Siu Mai monger in our fam. I trust her opinion. Well balanced filling, nicely steamed. Not overly fatty or seafoody IYKYK -Baked BBQ bun Tradional baked bun. Slightly crunchy top (not the pineapple crust). I could have eaten a whole plate by myself had I not had to save room for other dishes -Har Gow (being that we're in a fresh seafood state) -Steamed Beef ball - it was steamed on a bed of greens vs dried tofu skin. Omg! It's been ages since I've had it this way -Sesame Roll The egg tarts were sold out and this was our consolation prize but OMG, I might have cried at the first bite. Yes. It was that good. Freshly steamed and them rolled bc it came out in the beginning and still hot on the inside -Tofu pudding -Rice Roll (Beef) -Sticky Rice (Lo Mai Gai) - "Ha moon choy mai" (kinda looks like Filipino pancit) A wok fried vermicelli dish I haven't had in over 30 years was requested and didn't think they'd make it. But...they DID. The owner said the chef was from HKG and could make anything I wanted . The flavors were so nostalgic. Not only did the owner and manager stop by to chat, but the customers sitting next to us joined in. Everyone was so nice and welcoming like the other Bostonians we encountered on our trip. Ngl, I considered moving here just for the food and atmosphere. Probably one of the best dim sums I've had in the States and probably in HKG. Everything was steamed to perfection. It's been weeks and I am still thinking about my meal here, wondering when I can fly back to Boston again. Hopefully sooner than later. Definitely be back be for another trip with my parents, esp after we raved about this place here Overall, 4.5

House Chicken 秘制沙薑雞: The chicken was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of lean and fat. The ginger sauce was incredibly authentic; you could easily eat two extra bowls of rice just by mixing it with the sauce. Beef Brisket w. Radish in Claypot 蘿蔔牛腩煲: The parts of the meat not submerged in the broth were a little dry, but overall it was still very aromatic! Yang Chow Fried Rice 揚州炒飯: This dish had absolutely nothing to do with Yangzhou fried rice, but that didn't detract from its deliciousness. The rice grains were distinct, light but not bland. Wok Tossed Beef Chow Fun 乾炒牛河: A bit of a disappointment. The rice noodles were too soft, making them greasy, and the wok hei (wok aroma) wasn't strong enough.

Located inside Kam Man Market, it took over the spot that once was Lollipop Bubble Tea. It's a hole in the wall gem that had unexpectedly DELICIOUS dishes. We were shopping at Kam Man and decided to try their crab meat XLB and Chinese chive pockets. Both were sooo good, but I definitely liked the XLBs more! The chive pockets are great if you like veggies, chives especially. We ended up getting another order of crab meat XLBs, along with pan fried pork + shrimp dumplings. The lady helping us was very nice and super efficient. After ordering, our food was ready within minutes! Definitely come try the soup dumplings from here. Probably one of the best ones I've tried in MA and comes close to the XLBs I have had in Shanghai ;))

All of the accompanying sauces were on point as well. Value: Excellent, for two people it only cost us $36 before tip. Bonus: They sell frozen dumplings you can make at home! I am so glad this place was recommended to me. 100% worth getting a meal there and I would absolutely go again.

Chili Square is a no frills restaurant that serves delicious noodles! They have remodeled the…read morerestaurant since the last time I've visited... such a nice upgrade ;) Keep in mind, Chili Square is CASH ONLY so make sure to have some cash on you. There used to be a Bank of America ATM right across the street but it seems like it is no longer there unfortunately. Their biang biang noodles are fire & you really can't go wrong with getting the dry version or with soup. Honestly, this has been my favorite spot to get noodles lately. Last week, I literally went here almosevery day for dinner (I wish I was kidding). My favorite dishes to order from here include: - Cumin Lamb Biang Biang Noodles - Cumin Lamb Biang Biang Noodle Soup - Fish Filet with Chili Pepper - Chongching Chicken with Chili Pepper Visually, the dishes don't look like generous portions but actually they're quite filling! The cumin lamb Biang Biang noodles (w/o soup) is generally my go-to because it's SO FLAVORFUL. The lamb is cooked well & doesn't taste gamey at all. It's a tad spicy but won't kill you hahaha. They do have another version of this dish that comes with soup & it's a great option if you're feeling a soup. This also has amazing flavor but of course, not as flavorful as the dry version since it comes with soup. I highly recommend getting the fish filet with chili peppers if you love a fried fish! They make it incredibly crispy without making the fish taste dry. This is perfect with a bowl of rice. Now, the chongching chicken wings have to be the spiciest dish out of my favorites. This is a great snack! I usually get this to share if I'm eating here with a group or if I'm getting takeout, I'll get this as an entree. The pieces are crispy, spicy, and juicy. What more can you ask for? SO GOOD. For dine in, it is Cash Only. If you do takeout and don't have cash/want to go grab cash, what I like to do is order through UberEats. This way, it charges credit card & you can just go in to pick it up or choose for delivery.

Chili Square is a small Chinese restaurant specializing in hand-pulled noodles and Northwestern…read moreChinese cuisine. We walked into a simple, modest space with only a handful of tables, the kind of casual neighborhood eatery where the focus is clearly on the food rather than the surroundings. The dining room was tight and functional, with a no-frills setup that kept the attention on the noodles coming out of the kitchen. The energy was practical and unpretentious, and the steady flow of customers reflected its reputation as a destination for anyone craving authentic Chinese noodle dishes. The hand-pulled noodles are the highlight of the menu. We ordered a few different styles and found the Biang Biang noodles standing out with their wide, chewy texture that held up well to the bold sauces. The Lanzhou beef noodle soup offered a lighter broth paired with freshly stretched noodles that had a clean, satisfying bite. The spicy lamb hand-pulled noodles were another popular choice, combining tender meat with a flavorful sauce that had a satisfying amount of heat. Beyond the noodles, the cumin lamb burger, steamed dumplings, and cold skin noodles provided plenty of variety if we wanted to explore more of the menu. Each dish arrived hot and well assembled, and the portions were generous for the price. The restaurant operates with a very straightforward, self-service style. Seating is limited, and the dining room fills up quickly during busy hours, so waiting for a table is common. The service is fairly minimal, with the emphasis placed on getting the food out rather than providing a full-service dining experience. Water and utensils are self-serve, and the overall experience feels more like grabbing an authentic meal than dining somewhere with polished hospitality. It is also worth knowing that Chili Square is cash only, so planning ahead will save you from any surprises when it is time to pay. The staff moved through the room efficiently, and the noodles came out hot and freshly pulled. Overall, Chili Square is a great choice if you are looking for authentic hand-pulled noodles and bold Northwestern Chinese flavors. The small space, cash-only policy, and simple service require a little flexibility, but the freshly made noodles and generous portions make it well worth the visit if the food is your main priority.

And her impact was proven while we were there last night because some kids asked their parents to come in as they were walking by just to say hello to her. Every time I come, she recalls exactly how I like my hot pot sauce and which unique beverage each of our family member will likely order. Fairy is an intimate setting. Not too loud. There's a strong following from the neighborhood. Their AYCE hot pot offering is reasonable in price and choices up against all the other hotpot choices in Quincy. Their ala carte menu is just as satisfying. We also enjoy a frozen smoothy to go with dinner. My favorite is banana avocado or red bean. There are ample free apps that come with AYCE hotpot. My favorites are fried oysters and coconut shrimp. From there is ordering from a huge variety of meats, vegetables, and other hot pot fixings. Love their hand made dragon fruit shrimp paste and giant clams. But for my family, it is really always all about the choice beef - fat cow. I never leave hungry. There's nothing like the taste of the unique broth resulting in all of the foods you cook in the hotpot. I love to enjoy a bowl of the broth at the end of the meal. The kids enjoy the included ice cream.

Kinda heavy on the cream cheese and not sure how much crab they actually put in there but was bussin nonetheless. Their drinks are also so good and I LOVE Asian fusion drinks! Their henny mango drink was good. 10/10 And Thai tea martini was good!! 10/10 Love the creativity and execution, strong, flavorful and unique. Their portions are big enough so don't over order like we did lol We also got the chicken wing special and the picture looked better than the actual dish it was p much sweet and sour chicken wings. Not bad but I would skip 7.5/10 Beef broccoli was good but salty wish it came with rice and it lowkey came out cold, if it was hot I think it would've been v good. 8/10 Short rib tbh was just a baby back rib I was hoping for more Asian flavor over bbq. was still good but nothing revolutionary 8/10 Soft shell crab also came a little cold, I've had soft shell crab at a Michelin place in Vietnam so my standards were pretty high for this one. It was ok! Small amount of crab and had a slight bitter taste some bites. 6/10 Duck bao, pretty average. 7/10 My piece had a big piece of fat and I wish the skin was crispy, was ok. Ordered way too much cause the menu is GIGANTIC. we couldn't choose. So big back = big bill lol. Service is standard, our waiter was nice but the restaurant had made a mistake on our order and still charged us for it, they made the correction but the manager should've just took the mistake off the bill completely as it was the lesser priced items out of our big bill.

Despite its size, Wealth is good for larger groups, with its sizeable round tables with lazy susans. Plus the restaurant is quite clean and does not have that dumpster or unknown stench that I detect at some Chinatown spots. The seafood here is strong, but other offerings are good as well. Their noodles have good wok flavor and are generously-portioned. I like their salt & pepper chicken wings as a party food or appetizer. Though a bit pricey, their black pepper beef on a sizzling pan is a bit of a show-stopper, with pretty tenderized beef. Even the vegetable entrees aren't bad as well. Their stir-fried peapod stems are pretty good. They'll work with you if you are vegan/vegetarian. Service is probably its weakness, even with the understanding that it's a Chinese restaurant and I order in Cantonese. They'll try to hurry you along at the end of a meal. One waiter even asked, "Are you done?" Before I could retort he said, "We're running a business here". The FOH is pretty nice and is prompt.
