    Lobster
    Cheryl T.

We stopped by on a Friday night for a late dinner. When we showed up, the parking lot in the back was completely full. Luckily we were able to find parking on the street a block away. We ordered jumbo shrimps with walnut and house mayo, lobster, canh chua ca (sweet and sour catfish soup), ca kho tho (clay pot catfish). All of these dishes are prepared really well. The mayo sauce is creamy and sweet and the roasted walnuts complemented the flavors. The lobster was fried and had a nice scallion and ginger sauce. I LOVED the clay pot dish with the sweet and sour soup. I was surprised when the clay pot came out and had both catfish and pork but I really enjoyed it. It was caramelized well and the pork and catfish were perfectly cooked. The soup was perfectly sweet and sour and had some freshness with the veggies like bean sprouts, okra, tomatoes, and elephant ear (bac ha) and pineapple. The meal was very comforting and I'd definitely return again soon. The food is delicious but don't expect really great service. If you need anything, you'll have to put in the effort to get the attention of your server.

The restaurant was pretty popular on a late Friday night, they are open pretty late for the area. Parking can be tough with the road busy and the narrow road, it's best to park on the side street a block away. Service was average. The clay pot with catfish and pork really complements the sweet and sour catfish soup. Please be aware the fish have small bones inside, it's normal. The caramelized sauce in the clay pot has really good flavor, it comes with a good amount of meat. The sweet and sour soup was delicious too and was nice to pour over rice. The shrimp with walnut is one of my favorites and has a really nice mayo sauce. This is probably one of the better places that makes this style of lobster. The restaurant cuts the lobster in an easy way to pull out the meat.

For what it is, this place is five stars. Zero frills, the space smelt like bleach the entire time. Service was simple and fast . the food and the portions were outstanding for the price. Pork chop tasted really well seasoned, and the meat patty thingy had a lot of flavor packed in. Would come back.

We are visiting from Hawaii and ate here 2 years ago. I had the best pork chops ever! They were so tender and tasty, I said I'd come back to Boston just to have those pork chops again! They are very attentive with great service and the place is very clean, but not fancy.

So many options here- huge menu. We tried many things and weren't disappointed with any of them! Good prices. Parking is tricky at times. The service here is really good!

Hubby and I have been here a few times and it has never disappointed. I wasn't able to capture what we ordered to eat because we dove right in lol. We ordered 2 salt and pepper twin lobsters, salt and pepper shrimp, pea pod stems with garlic and salted fish fried fish. Everything was delicious especially for the price. We will definitely be frequent customers.

Not cá cơm, smelts but still tasty

Foods were tasty. Fried smelts w/ garlic and chillies was yummy but advertised as "cá cơm", which were not the same. Cá kho tộ was excellent, probably my fav out of all the dishes. Canh chua was fresh but I prefer a stronger sweet & sour flavors. Rice was dry. Foods have always been good (5 stars) for the many times that we have been here, this time (4 stars, chef's off day?) could have been better but we still had a great time. Service was very friendly and fast as always. No frills, just tasty Vietnamese foods! Highly recommend!

I only took pictures of the food that I liked, and the Wonton Soup was really the only thing that was decent. The veggies that I ordered had a lot of oil left over, the fried fish had too much batter, and the pork was just not appealing.

Went here this week and I normally hate their rice but it was good last night. It was easy to order over the phone VS some other places. Customer service isn't everyone's strong point The boneless spareribs were dry and I wish they had real duck sauce instead of that stuff in the packs (even though they put theirs in condiment cups) The salt & pepper fried twin lobsters were missing the full tails but had a lot of claws. Weird lobster if you ask me. The salt & pepper shrimp was cooked really well The chicken wings were cooked thoroughly and were good The scallion pancakes were good but wish they had another dipping sauce other than soy sauce for them The inside is big & normally all tables are full, but I always get my food to go. Overall not worth the price but the food is decent but MAKE REAL DUCK SAUCE great again

Little did we know, the rain would clear and it would be the most beautiful sunset ever. If you're looking for that - this is your place! The environment was buzzing with young Saturday night energy and it was really cool to be a part of. We sat down at our table and I ordered an iced tea. My husband ordered a beer to start. We spent some time chatting before we even looked at the menu, but our server never made us feel rushed and gave us time to look at the menu. We ordered a clam chowder to start. I ended up ordering the linguini with clam and my husband ordered the poke bowl. The linguini was absolutely delicious. It was a larger serving than I expected, but they provided a good amount of clams in it - which was great! My husband had never had poke before and admitted that it was delicious. This will be a recommended place when visiting Quincy in the future.

The burger was like a hockey puck, and the $47 lobster roll had maybe five tiny pieces of lobster. What made it even worse was watching people around us send food back, complain to the staff, and even walk out because it was so bad. Clearly, we weren't the only ones disappointed. I honestly don't understand how this place stays in business. Marina Bay deserves a far better restaurant than this. Shame on both the chef and management. You rely on seasonal traffic instead of building loyal customers, and it shows. Step it up, chef, or step out.

Yum. Yum. Yum!!!! I really loved this restaurant…read more To drink, I got the Spicy Cuke which came with a tajin rim & it was super refreshing, my friends got the Wildest Dreams and it was super light & fruity. To start we shared the Guacamole which came with tortilla chips and some sort of crema which was an nice addiction. When we finished the chips, but still had a guac left, they brought out more chips which was such a nice touch. For our meals, I got the carne asada tacos, as well as we got the fish tacos & the Cali Bowl and I really have no notes for any of the them! the tacos only had 2 in each dish but they were filled enough where it felt like enough food for a meal, and the bowl was large and a huge portion! We sat outside and while it was a beautiful day, the high top chairs were super uncomfortable, the actual seat was so small & they had no back, we found ourselves feeling pretty uncomfortable quickly. Overall, a really good spot for a good meal in Marina Bay & I can't wait to go back!

The service there is decent, but we only saw our waitress a few times and had to order another item & obtain the check through the manager walking. we sat outside on the pier overlooking the boats and the view is gorgeous. like you're already eating good food and then you look up and you have that. really hard to beat.

So I go to their website and they have a large order of clams listed at $31.95, and I'm really in the mood for a big plate of clams so I say "what the heck" and order the large. When I arrive to pick up the order, there's a paper sign hanging by the register listing the prices for clams, and suddenly I find out the price I saw on the website was $8.00 dollars! less than what they were actually going to change me, $40.00. Since I have a sense of honor, and didn't want to just walk out without paying for my order, I paid for my takeout and left. Once I got home and opened my order I could see that it in no way resembled what you would expect is $40 worth of clams, I Get clams all the time at The Clam Box and Tony's for prices much lower than this and the amount I was looking at simply didn't justify that ridiculous $40 bill. Now there are other seafood takeout restaurant out there (such as Fred's for example) that allow their prices for clams and scallops to fluctuate with the market. And ALL of them list "Market Price" in the price area of those items on their website. Fish & Chips might show a set price but clams and scallops have "Market Price". Other shops like The Clam Box and Tony's list a fixed price for their clams and scallops on their website, and they HONOR that listed price. Adam's Fish Market does neither of these things, and I can guarantee they will never be seeing another order from me.
