Great food! I ordered delivery and everything came so fresh and delicious. I ordered the combo of…read morethe Shrimp with Broccoli, 4 Crab Rangoons, and Pork Fried Rice for $15.75. First of all, that is a pretty good price for that much food. There's definitely some places that have cheaper combos, but they usually have just a main dish, fried rice, and a single appetizer. 4 crab rangoons is a lot! Secondly, the amount of food that actually came in this order was massive. It is enough fried rice for at least two meals, and the shrimp with broccoli was a good portion as well. Third, the restaurant gave me a free egg roll on top of it! And lastly, the taste. The crab rangoons had scallions and imitation crab in them and were still very crispy. The egg roll had mostly veggies in it, but the duck sauce that came with the order is some of the best duck sauce I've had - it's not that orange or yellow stuff - it's the real deal made with the right proportions of apple sauce, vinegar, and sugar (and other things too?). But the point is that the duck sauce was GOOD. The pork fried rice was dark brown and the perfect New England style fried rice with bean sprouts (also not always included by other places) and BBQ pork. And the shrimp tasted actually really fresh and plump while the broccoli was crisp and absorbed the sauce well. All in all, 5/5 for sure - this is place is great!

Great food, friendly staff and fast delivery. The food is well made ,they stay open late.read more

A moment of true nostalgia. As a Boston native, one thing I will forever love is the food,…read moreespecially the Chinese Food! Chinatown Express is one of my favorite on the go restaurants. I've been coming here since 2002 and though I moved out of Boston in 2005, I make sure to come get an order everytime I'm in town. Good food, good portions, and most of all, GREAT Combination plates. My go combo is the D11. Chicken Fingers, Boneless Spareribs, Beef Teriyaki, and Pork Fried Rice. This combination is a perfect balance of pork, beef, and chicken. The ribs are meaty and have a perfect sweet to salt balance. The beef teriyaki is well done and pairs well with the pork fried rice. The highlight for me is the moist, meaty chicken fingers. The meat is seasoned as well as the batter is too. The pork fried rice brings everything together as I take a scoop of rice with every bite of meat. LoL!!!! Now, if you know what's good for you, make sure to get the Duck Sauce. One thing about the Chinese food in Boston is the Duck Sauce. It's sweet and provides an added flavor profile to everything on the plate. Also, regardless of what you order, the duck sauce will always make it taste even better. LoL!!! If you're in the area you've gotta stop in and get some food from Chinatown Express. The menu has a variety of options. The lunch and dinner specials are awesome. The service is good. And the food is fresh. 20 years later and they still haven't lost the quality goodness that I enjoy!

Bomb.com. Truly incredible wings. The fried plantains? Legit. Perfect. The shrimp and broccoli is delicious and the shrimp are massive. Not the tiny little things other places try to sneak past you. These are big, beautiful shrimp. Combo plates are always on point. Everything here is just scrumptious. Only downfall? Cash only. I really wish they took debit or credit. It's 2025, folks. Let's make it happen. Other than that, Mandarin House is a winner. A strong winner. I will keep coming back.

We ordered lunch for work from here per one of my co-worker's recommendation and we were all happy…read morewith our choice. We ordered 3 combination plates with sesame chicken, crab Rangoon, and pork fried rice, 2 combination plates with general tso chicken, crab Rangoon, and chicken fried rice, one large order of tostones, and one large order of chicken wings for $108. The food was ready after about 15 minutes and was still warm after 30 minutes when we were ready to eat. We all agreed that the food was less greasy than most Chinese food places. Also, the wings were really crispy and tasted fresh. The rice was really good, and surprisingly I did prefer the chicken fried rice. I liked the general tso chicken more than the sesame chicken since it had a bit of spice and more flavor, whereas the sesame chicken was just sweet. I did wish the breading was crispier, but I think it was just because it was take out and about a 20 minute drive. The crab rangoons were good but they did need just a little more filling for my liking. The tostones would have been a lot better right out the oil but it did bring a lot in the order. Overall, I was very satisfied with the portion sizes, flavor, and cost.
