A great thai spot in Dorchester. The ingredients are so fresh. I love that they use white meat chicken in most of the dishes. Sometimes I want to feel a little healthier without the fat from the dark. The best part is the flavors are so good from the sauces that you don't notice. Plus the meats are very tender so you know they were prepped well ahead of cooking. Coconut shrimp were very good. There was too much I wanted to try, including their signature wings. They have a big menu to pick from and out all sound good. Staff is so nice. You order from a kiosk that has pictures too. They text you when it's ready. There are 4 tables inside but it's mainly take out. You can eat inside though if you want. Portion size is huge. It reminds me of one of those Chinese take out places where they stuff the container, only the food here is much better quality. One of the best parts is how much food you're getting for your dollar.

The food was delicious and the service was great! The place was pretty clean however I wish the parking situation was better but that's just city life. The drunken noodles with crispy pork belly was flavorful and the portions were plentiful! We also tried the JTK and ZAAP wings. They were both tasty but the ZAAP is where it's at! We'll return for sure!

Just wanna welcome this new Thai joint to the neighborhood! Just wanted to say everything here was delicious! My man loves mango fried rice and mango here were chunky! Awesomely authentic, fresh and tasty! Excited to try more items on their menu! Crab Rangoon- worth! Support local businesses!

Tofu pad thai (wifey added Sriracha) was good, not super sweet with a mild tamarind flavor

This week's eating local. The ordering process is super easy and simple on their website, they use toasttab. The restaurant is clean and organized with designated pickup and ordering areas. Zapp wings... flavorful and not smothered in a sugary sauce. It had a nice amount of heat with a touch of something sour. Almost a hint of tom yum.. I would order this again, I will try the jtk wings The beef pad kee mao was good. It wasn't the best I've ever had but wasn't a disappointment. It is spicy, so if you aren't good with spicy, steer clear. The tofu pad thai was very good. It wasn't overly sweet and Tamarindy (idk if that is a real word). The ratio of noodles to bean sprouts was excellent, i hate it when half of my pad thai is half bean sprouts. Overall I will give it a 4.5. We will definitely try jtk again and see what else is good on their menu!

Eh. Just ordered veggie Pad See Ew. It was soaked and saucy, which made the noodles and veg pretty soggy. It also was full of vegetables that I didn't love. Quite a few green veggies and stems that I couldn't identify (which to be fair might belong in Thai food) but I tried them and didn't like them. There might be better dishes here but not sure if I'm willing to go back and try it.

I also added the onsen egg. My first initial thought: it's warm, soothing and heartwarming. But the more I ate it, it didn't really have much flavor and I don't know if it's because it's chicken based broth. The spiciness also didn't really have much of a kick. And in some bites, I bit into a Szechuan pepper. Not sure what kind of theme they're going for but definitely didn't expect it to have a Szechuan twist. I will say, I very much liked their udon noodles! It was really chewy and soft. I also felt that the onsen egg was slightly too undercooked. I love eggs and I can eat them cooked, runny, etc. but felt like the yolk was so runny it mixed into the soup and didn't really resurface after that. It's a really small shop with bar seating and a few small tables. Expect a wait if you're a big party or quite possibly coming around rush hour. Despite my review, it seems very popular. Service was quick and fast!

The braised pork belly was prepared really well; the sauce was decadent without tasting like a pile of sugar, and the meat itself was very tender. The crispy tofu was also great, lots of spices and a nice golden breaded crust made for a good vegan dish (but that's why I didn't get to try the peking duck...). And the pineapple beer was a fun drink, it's about 50/50 beer and pineapple juice so it was more of a cocktail than an actual beer. The line for a table was a chaotic experience. I know that popular restaurants are always a bit of a mess, especially those that don't take reservations. But this place was especially disorganized, it took a while to get seated fora party of two, and even then, it was a consolation bar spot. I hope they can get more organized in the future!

My real rating is a 3.5 star review here we go.: Food : 5 Star; I don't think anyone in the Chinatown area can match. The quality of the homemade hand pulled noodle that is served here. The menu was extremely limited to about 10 or 12 dishes. All include hand pulled noodle or homemade hand pressed dumplings. I've been here number of times every dish is delicious. Staff : 5 Star; I want to give a shout out to Kittie who works the counter is extremely polite goes the extra mile and to help the customer. The kitchen seem to be clean, kept and engaged in work. Cleanliness : 2 Star; I might be stretching it to give them a two just simple things like posters in the window have been there for 10 or 20 years soup on the back the trim everything is worn out and looks like it should be thrown away and replaced it needs an updating and a good good good cleaning a deep cleaning. Parking : 2 Star; if you're lucky there are a few meters outside as usual. The parking gods in Chinatown look down upon me and I got a meter half a block away. Otherwise you have to go get the early bird special and pay by the garage which means you're gonna be paying more for the parking than you are for the meal.

This is a small, hole in the wall restaurant. I believe the cuisine is from Xi'an, in Western China. They prefer cash, but do accept card online or on the tablets in store. There are a few really solid vegetarian options. I went with the noodle soup. The soup itself is loaded with carrots, onions, bean sprouts, and cilantro. The broth itself is savory, sour, and a bit spicy. The noodles are unlike any I've had -- they're thick and chewy. Overall, delicious and an AMAZING value. My complaints are around the layering -- the veggies were stacked on top and it was hard to mix them in the rest of the soup; a bigger bowl would have fixed this. Definitely check out Gene's.

Pad Thai: Just like at Nine Tastes, my first bite was overwhelmed by the strong sourness... According to ChatGPT, American Southeast Asian restaurants may use concentrated tamarind sauce instead of the original tamarind-infused water, or reduce the sugar to suit American tastes, hence the extra sourness of Pad Thai. Learned something new! The shrimp was very fresh, firm and tender; the rice noodles were stir-fried with a great wok hei 鑊氣(wok aroma), and the portion was huge, but it got a bit oily towards the end. My favorite was the peanuts--they were incredibly fragrant, and not too finely ground, giving them a better texture. Also, a larger plate is really needed; it would be much easier to mix all the ingredients together. Drunken Noodles: The wide flat rice noodles were authentic. The spicy flavor added another layer of wok hei, and the thin layer of chili oil helped retain heat and enhance the aroma. Although a bit spicy, I felt it was the best of the three. Saigon Noodle: It felt like a combination of the two above, with a touch of sweet and sour and a hint of spicy, but neither was particularly prominent. It had a hint of sesame oil, but I personally don't really like sesame oil.
