I was here a few years ago and it was awesome I happened to be in the area so stopped by again It is more authentic Thai food which is the only good thing I can say though you'll get a bunch of rice and little meat. They have a kiosk you order food. The first thing you see is how many pennies they will charge you for any fork knife spoon plate bag etc. it's making customers wonder if you're stressing over pennies what's the quality of food like are they skimping on that too? I ordered a pad kra pao. It's always been served with an egg. Not here, that's $2.95 extra! The price doesn't include any meat/tofu, you have to choose one that's at least $1.95 more So $17 plus tax for a takeout and they make me pay .03 for a fork and no napkins anywhere to be seen btw. The dish was almost all rice. There was maybe 6oz of basil peppers and minced chicken Gf had a panang curry which was also almost all rice I won't be coming back sorry to say especially given the horrible traffic that plagues this area. A great thai spot in Dorchester. The ingredients are so fresh. I love that they use white meat chicken in most of the dishes. Sometimes I want to feel a little healthier without the fat from the dark. The best part is the flavors are so good from the sauces that you don't notice. Plus the meats are very tender so you know they were prepped well ahead of cooking. Coconut shrimp were very good. There was too much I wanted to try, including their signature wings. Okay, so normally I would have pictures, but I did NOT know how far this food was going to take me while sampling it and simultaneously enjoying a little bit of some candy of the sativa persuasion. All I know is that the food was so delicious I even ate those crinkly cut carrot discs that generally get tossed to the side of the plate. This is our go-to Thai take-out spot. The flavors are always spot on, the food is ready quickly, and it's well priced with good portion sizes. I've tried a good amount of their menu and I haven't found anything I didn't like. The pad kee mao is probably my favorite dish - my only remark is that I wish the tofu version came with more tofu - sometimes I'm just craving tofu! They don't have a "choose your spice level" option here, but the spice level is always perfect for that dish - not too mild/bland and not blow-your-brains-out spicy. The spicier dishes are marked with a little chili pepper on the menu as a warning. Definitely pop an order in next time you have a hankering for Thai! read more

The food I ordered was quite good. Reason I didn't give it a 5-star review is some of the veggies they used in the two plates were starting to get rancid. It did smell a little. Other than this, the food was pretty good. Another reason for the one-star subtraction is their phone becomes unavailable after 6pm I think. That means they force you to use a food-ordering service app, which means you'll get charged 10-15% extra than if you ordered over-the-phone and pay in-store. Paying $35 for two plates is kinda crazy - includes tip and taxes. Another reason for another star subtraction is meat is extra if you order on the app. And if you do add meat, they barely give you any. I'm not one of those Chipotle meat complainers also btw, that you see on TikTok. There were barely any on my plates. Not even a decent amount. Pik pow rice with crispy chicken is AMAZING and just loved it. I got it delivered from Uber eats and it was delicious.

This week's eating local. The ordering process is super easy and simple on their website, they use toasttab. The restaurant is clean and organized with designated pickup and ordering areas. Zapp wings... flavorful and not smothered in a sugary sauce. It had a nice amount of heat with a touch of something sour. Almost a hint of tom yum.. I would order this again, I will try the jtk wings The beef pad kee mao was good. It wasn't the best I've ever had but wasn't a disappointment. It is spicy, so if you aren't good with spicy, steer clear. The tofu pad thai was very good. It wasn't overly sweet and Tamarindy (idk if that is a real word). The ratio of noodles to bean sprouts was excellent, i hate it when half of my pad thai is half bean sprouts. Overall I will give it a 4.5. I ordered from this place through Grubhub. I got a lunch combination which comes with an appetizer, a main dish, a side item and a can of soda (or you can order iced tea or water instead of the soda) all for about $11 which is a pretty good price. I picked the Spring Rolls as my appetizer, chicken with a garlic-oyster sauce as my main dish, Thai fried rice as my side (you can also get either Lo-Mein or plain white rice if you don't like fried rice) and I got a can of ginger ale for my soda. The portion sizes were excellent. In fact I couldn't finish it all. The food was delicious and still hot when it arrived at my door. Drunken noodles were good but unless I'm out of options, I'll make my 30 minute drive to Malden for them instead. Chicken satay was good. Few other apps were honestly pretty wack. Wings, dried out, rangoon filling was decent but the wrap was trash, rough and not flaky also felt stale. Service was good. Restaurant itself looked clean and taken care of. Honestly food felt like basic fast food. Where you get what you pay for and don't complain bc it's cheap. But you'll complain because price for what you're getting is high. I've tried plenty of Thai, here, NY, Thailand, and try to be considerate of all things . Finally we have a true pioneer coming to fields corner Dorchester with authentic thai food. I was excited to meet owner Seasa Hofman at the counter welcoming me with a humble greetings. Food menu comes with a balance of fusion and healthy dishes. My favorite was always the chicken grapow (ground chicken) with the extra egg on top and the poached chicken with rice and cucumbers . Haven't tried the pad Thai and apps yet but I will next time around. I always support these local small businesses and this is my new favorite local Thai place with authentic Thai dishes. We have plenty of go-to Thai places, but we stumbled across this place on the Toast app, and liked that they had some regional specialities and other items you don't often see. The slam dunk was the JTK wings- sticky and sweet ginger sauce covered in chopped peanuts, we could have eaten dozens more of these and been very happy. My Singapore Noodles (Pad Mee) were very tasty, and was a huge portion that lasted me multiple meals, and my fried tofu was solid. The chicken on the JTK Chicken Rice was a bit dry, but the dish overall was very flavorful (and very spicy). On the downside, it took 2 whole hours to arrive- they did call to check in, and the food was worth the wait, but just be aware you might see some delays if you're getting delivery. read more
