This place has a parking lot but it's a small parking lot that is shared with other businesses so, I ended up parking on the street, in front of the parking lot. The place is a tad bit hard to find just because it's sandwiched between other businesses but I found it. I ordered for pick up and the man who was helping me was nice. As for the food, it was better than what I expected. The portions are very generous and the dishes are tasty.

I tried the won ton soup 3 days ago, I have been coming back everyday since.. Today is day 4. Delicious and full flavor.... Gonna try more on the menu soon as I'm over this bronchitis..

In a nutshell: a whole more than just a hole-in-a-wall __________ At first glance, Jin Chinese Kitchen is more underwhelming, a small, dingy hole-in-the-wall sandwiched between two other larger restaurants. Inside, you're greeted by one elderly waiter resembling Flash the sloth in Zootopia, standing amidst a few rickety wooden tables and chairs and couch booths with faded leather. Sitting there, sipping hot water from styrofoam cups, you feel like you've been dropped straight into the streets of China. Despite the Korean signs hung all around the walls and splattered across the menu, Jin Chinese Kitchen is indeed Chinese, and the inconspicuous exterior belies the surprisingly good taste of the food. The Orange chicken bowl with rice surpasses that of Panda Express, striking a nice balance between the juicy, crunchy exterior and the succulent meat underneath. I ordered the Broccoli beef bowl with rice. I will die on the hill that steamed broccoli with sauce is one of the best yet most simple vegetable dishes ever. While the beef was tougher than I'd have liked, the broccoli was perfectly soft, but not soggy. I personally would have preferred more vegetables than beef and rice portion-wise though. General Tso's chicken bowl features all the expected-tender chicken in small chunks, stray slices of soft carrot, sprinkles of crunchy peanut- that is neither epically bad nor outstandingly good. Note: the rice tastes best after a thorough mixing, where each fleck is coated completely in the mildly spicy sauce. The noodle bowls are gigantic and the rice bowls were pretty large too, so our table turned into a buffet, each person partaking in all the other dishes. Small bowls of red soup were also distributed, which, according to my friend, tasted exactly like "instant noodle water." For my group of two hungry families looking for a quick, inexpensive lunch stop during a road trip, Jin Chinese Kitchen did the right trick. The aesthetics might not be at the highest standard, but when you've been stuffed in a car with rambunctious kids and exhausted parents, the food will most certainly satisfy.

A small mom and pop shop with quick service. It has couple tables inside for seating and shares a small parking lot with el pollo loco. My toddlers loved the black bean noodles and fried dumplings. Overall, the food tastes like the Korean Chinese food that I grew up with, nothing trendy/fancy. Will definitely be returning to try their other items on the menu.

Sad wonton noodle soup/ not authentic :(

I was craving wonton noodle soup and I can tell you that they do not serve authentic Chinese food. I ordered the wonton noodle soup and they used some random noodle and some random pieces of mixed veggies and some wonton made out of dumpling skin some broth that's definitely not wonton soup! I know my wonton soup when I tasted it and I was extremely disappointed. Sad meal for $10. After, I went to El Pollo Loco to order some actually fulfilling meal because I was still hungry but mostly disappointed.

Love this place! Good prices for the amount of food you get. Whenever I eat other chinese food I always feel so gross and it feels so greasy to me, but this place is definitely not like that, I don't even feel guilty lol (maybe because it's korean/chinese? Idk). I can't even say what my favorite thing is because everything was so good. Today we ordered the Stir Fried Cham Pong, the Spicy Cham Pong, the Orange Chicken Lunch Special, Ja Jang Myun and the Sweet and Sour Pork. I am very happy to have all this food to enjoy all week long. Last time we ordered from here my roommate and I were hungover and it was the most amazing thing to eat literally all day long haha, so this is our go to for those days. And today this was a nice way to just celebrate Single Awareness Day.

This place is an institution. After I wrote that sentence, I felt like I was trite. And like I said…read moresomething but not really. Like, one time I was watching Project Runway, a season finale episode, where the designers make their own creations, and do not have to make their ensembles from shredded newspaper or bird seeds or pinata remnants. And after a so-and-so of the fashion industry said, "I wanted to go and rip that jacket off the model." This other time, I saw a poster for a coming musical and it said, "stop everything you are doing, and go this musical now" says this important person in the theathre world. What am I am trying to say is that the comment I wanted to do this immediately or drop everything and do this immediately is so overwrought and widely used that it lost all meaning. Kind of like calling this place an institution. So I will call this place what I should to not be drown in my own trite. One time I went to this place and I went cause I was invited to a birthday party. And it was a large group of people. Me and a friend debated if Penny, from the Big Bang, had eaten at this place. She was also in Charmed--- it is a household name, I can't remember it. So this place is famous enough to be a go to move, and it has many pictures of celebrities that have gone there. The food is also super good, so this place, like I said is an insititution. When I went there a second time, I was more aware of the place I was visiting and kind of was ready to receive its Chinese fare with an unhinged jaw. I was dining with a friend, the same friend that I had the is that Penny from Big Bang debate? It was not. She eventually one. But like she and I ate here again, without knowing we were going to the same place. I would say its a small world but.... She and I ate with gusto. It does not take a lot to know that the speciality of the house is their slippery shrimp. They also have slippery chicken and slippery tofu. Super good, sweet, sour but it was not sweet and sour sauce shrimp, it had differences. I am not sure what. There were some heat notes but not like terrible heat. So I am not exactly sure what this place does to make their slippery sauce but let us just that it was delicious and different than other Chinese food sauces. Ronnie and I had the works. Rice, Beef with Brocoli, Pan fried dumplings, and dumpings. It was the type of Chinese food that was so good a coke was needed to balance the decadent saltiness of the fare. Yeah, that might not make sense but I wrote what I wrote. We had eniugh food to share between the two of us. It was that type of meal, where leftovers were welcomed and made sense. They were not left over, they were left untouched because it would be a shame to not enjoy them later. The service was great. The place felt traditional, and like it took you to an alley in China to eat a grandmother's food who knows how to use a Wok and pinch dumplings so they stay close for good. I saw this bad review that skewered this place. And I am like wow! How can we be so different. Not like Ying and Yang Different, more like flutter and flatten. But taste is subjective, so decide for yourself if this place is a peacock worthy of its feathers or a tiger with its claws clipped.

It was a but busy when we got there but luckily we got seared pretty shortly after arrival. We originally wanted to sit at the bar, but opted for a table for less wait time. When first looking at the menu we were shocked by the prices. I knew immediately i wanted to get the hui tou potstikers with pork and noodles. We ended up adding on the hongkong style wontons too. To my suprise the wontons arrived in a delicious and warm broth, keeping them perfectly moist and plump. The broth was so delicious even on a hot day, tasting faintly of sesame and scallion. Despite both dishes being pork they were so different and equally amazing in flavor. The pan fried potstikers which were CRISPED TO PERFECTION especially reminded me of black bean shortribs that you get from dimsum, fatty but hearty and had me wanting more and more each bite. The minced pork noodles were to no suprise, so good. Noodles tasted fresh, the sauce was umami with mushrooms and pork. While im not the biggest fan of mushrooms, i still ate it up. I feel it would be so good with some picked cabbage too to complement the saltiness. Most notable thing... THAT CHILI OIL. We probably used almost half the jar left at the table. It wasnt spicy at all, but it had this flavor that i genuinely have never tasted before. The texture of the chilli and sesame and the nutty flavor had me in awe. Enough to take two jars home... i would do it again. Servers were so quick, made sure everything we needed was at the table. Regardless of the crowd we were met with promptness and generosity. Everything was prepared wonderfully and had tremendous flavor. I recommend trying their Hui Tou, stuffed with pork or beef, pork and leek pancakes, they also have vegetarian options. The way it's set up is pretty cultural. It reminds me of some hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurant the way they have metal utensils at each table. It's almost like a self-serve system to certain tools which is pretty common. I haven't drank water out of metal cup in a long time, so that was nostalgic too. We tried a variety of dishes to get a fuller understanding of their menu of what this place has to offer. I was really looking forward to the beef roll because it's usually one of my favorite dishes, but this one was disappointing. I define a good beef roll as one that's a good mix of sweet, savory and refreshing. The meat makes it savory and the veggies are supposed to counter it make the whole dish feel light. If someone disagrees with me, please share your thoughts on what a beef roll should taste like. The one from Pine & Crane was drenched in sauce. I could not taste the meat or the veggies and the whole thing tasted like a stick of sugar. The mapo tofu was on point, but this is quality you can probably make at home. The flavor profile was very similar to that of stuff you'd get a grocery store. The three cup jidori chicken came recommended, so we tried it. The flavor is very pungent and goes well with rice.
