Another great morning visiting Jim's Place. My son and I had not been back for a month or two . When we walked in we were greeted with a great smile and a welcome back from the family . The restaurant is a casual small quite quaint place . I deal for a quick bite to eat at the bar or sit at a larger table with the family . We go for breakfast here in our rotation of decent, down to earth, eateries. Basic breakfast fare here is always very good. I've also tried some of the specials and been pleased. Coffee is always hot and free flowing. Wait staff is efficient and attentive. The overall feeling of the restaurant is clean yet simple. We have never been disappointed when dining here. read more

I wanted to love it, but unfortunately didn't. It has a hole-in-the-wall feel of a place you hope will be a hidden gem, i.e. definitely a police hangout and old-guys-having-breakfast kind of place. Ordered a breakfast sandwich on a roll: turns out it was made with only 1 egg, overcooked bacon, kind of gummy american cheese and white bread toast. The first word that comes to mind is "dry". Where was the fresh delicious roll? And this for over $7. Service was terse but efficient. For a similar price point, Lighthouse Diner or Rinaldi's runs circles around this place. Hope it improves, since I always root for old school mom and pop places in Jupiter. read more

Jim's Place is our go-to breakfast spot in Jupiter. I love the eggs benedict as well as the biscuits and gravy, it is nothing fancy but it hits the spot! Jim's Place is a small diner located in a plaza off Indiantown Road. It is hidden from the roadway but boy do the locals know it is there! Expect the restaurant to be very busy on the weekend with a wait. Servers try to get the patrons in and out quick though. Its fast service, but you are not rushed. You won't have to wait forever and a day for the food to be delivered to your table. We have only enjoyed breakfast there! I will have to try lunch sometime soon. read more

THEY DO NOT TAKE DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS. They don't even mention this on their website... they take Zelle or PayPal or cash but left out the part where they don't accept debit or credit. Wish I would have known this since I am from out of town and I'm just traveling with only cards. The biscuits and gravy were good but I wish they mentioned this on their website about payments they don't accept. They only mention the ones that they DO accept. Really big let down. read more

the service wasn't great, this one guy seemed to hate everyone there and was disappointed anytime we asked a question. . my omelette was pretty bad, it had a singular slice of Kraft American cheese. Would not recommend, if you're looking for a good breakfast place there is many more in Jupiter. read more

This little gem has been around for years and I finally stopped in for breakfast. Service was quick and attentive. My coffee cup was never empty. I ordered the two eggs, two pancakes and two strips of bacon. My favorite combination and it was marvelous. Pancakes were not heavy at all and I didn't roll out of there. My G/F ordered two eggs, hash browns and bacon and she was just as happy. Very friendly vibe, casual. The kind of place where they will get to know you by name. I'm sorry it took so long to get here but we will be back soon!! read more

Owner just sent comment that I was "just rambling," and that "Yelp deems you a qualified reviewer because you've shared your preposterous opinion so many other times." Who was rambling with the 22 line comment to my review??!! I wont lower the rating out of spite that would be wrong and unfair. If he looked at my reviews he would have noticed that the great majority are in small business restaurants that I always support and that the majority of my reviews are positive. I wish them luck anyway. Original review was this: This place seems... well.... complacent. I don't think they care to "wow" anyone. Have had much better, but have had much worse too. Had breakfast basic two eggs and sausage fare. Hash browns cooked perfectly but lacked taste. Eggs fine. Sausage...... well they were undercooked and cold unfortunately I didn't realize the undercooked detail until I ate a whole link. Altogether a cute dinette. Giving this place only two stars for the above mentioned and because it is cash only which I would Not normally care if it wasn't for the $3 ATM charge. I Do not believe small businesses should hit paying customers with such a large fee - I paid 30% of my bill check in ATM fees so this restaurant could save 5% in credit card transaction fees?????? We've been going to Jim's place for over 30 yrs and we decided today to never go back. After we ordered our meal it took over 27 minutes to arrive . Our meals were cold when we got them, the western omelet was horrible, the vegetables were not scrambled into the egg but laid on top then folded over, we have never got it that way before. The grits were tasteless and the bacon was not crispy. I ordered the English Muffin instead of toast and it was stale and rubbery, pancake wouldn't melt better. Spent way to much money for a bad experience and lousey food. read more

I've been coming here since I was 6, I'm 24 now. I love the staff, but their food is absolutely amazing!!! The ambiance reminds me of a quaint hole In the wall restaurant. Aside from a basic two egg breakfast, we offer a few house specialties that have been long-time favorites among our customers. The stuffed biscuit is one of our most popular breakfasts. It is a biscuit topped with grated ham, cheddar cheese, homemade sausage gravy, and two scrambled eggs. If you have any room left in your belly, this delight comes with hash browns or grits. Our country breakfast is also one of our best-sellers. It is hash browns topped with American cheese, homemade sausage gravy, and two eggs, served with white, wheat, or rye toast. If you're looking for something sweet, we offer buttermilk pancakes and French toast. Our pancakes are are available with blueberries or chocolate chips. The French toast is served on Texas toast (thick white bread) and has a lot of cinnamon in the batter. It is topped with butter and powdered sugar. We also offer delicious three egg omelets, the most popular choices being the beggar's or everything omelet, which are served with hash browns or grits and toast. Wash it all down with a sweet tea, and you'll feel like a local!

We ordered Italian flatbread with prosciutto, cheese, arugula and it had a delicious sauce on it. Hubby and I shared the sandwich - it was big enough. We ordered brussel sprouts as a side. Crispy, delicious, pumpkin seeds, pickled onions and some kind of tasty vinaigrette. The dish was a generous size. The brussels were fabulous. The sandwich was delicious as well. There is a water station, grab your own. They also sell some beer and wine. Lots of takeout customers. A busy spot for all the right reasons. We will come here again. Great quality food!

I was heading to Jupiter for a fun filled day, hiking, snorkeling and sunbathing, and of course that all has to start with a phenomenal BREAKFAST! I wanted it hearty, cheap, and fast! I searched Yelp and found Jim's place, yes, right on the way to the beach!! There is one thing that prompted me to write this review, the coloring books! Yes, the coloring books! I sat at the counter, and while waiting for my food, a family came in with a little boy of about 4. The little boy went behind the counter (!) where he seemed to know that there was a secret stash of coloring books and crayons, right at 4 year old level. He quickly grabbed a book and crayons and followed his family to the table. I was so impressed. I LOVE this idea, and apparently so does he!! I am SO TIRED of seeing little kids with Ipads and Cell phones, what happened to good old fashioned drawing and coloring! Kudos to you Jim's Place!! A couple of bucks for crayons and coloring books and I bet you have a lot of happy kids!! Ok, back to the important stuff. I ordered the Beggars Omelet. It truly came in about 4 minutes. We love Jim's Place! Warm and friendly service. The food is exceptional. My wife and I have tried many of the items on the menu. Their french toast recipe is excellent and likely our favorite so far! They really enjoy kids and gave my newborn son a Jim's Place shirt. They turn over tables quickly so waiting time is typically short. I've been coming to Jim's Place since I was a little kid, and its a family favorite. Anytime we are hungry for breakfast Jim's is the first place we go. Can't beat the quick and welcoming service never mind the delicious food. I've had almost everything on the menu and its all phenomenal. Their breakfast is amazing! Rarely can I find somewhere that does everything right. I ordered the the biscuits and gravy, wife had French toast, and kid had pancakes. I have to say the French toast was the best I've ever had, pancakes were delicious, and the biscuits and gravy were the best in Palm beach county. read more

As a severe foodie, I could tell the food was fresh and made to order, but leaned more toward "prepared" rather than "crafted." For instance, the biscuits were confirmed to be from packaging and not homemade. That said, for the price point and the area, it's perfectly fine if you're not expecting anything culinary-forward. If you're a true foodie, don't come expecting a wow factor -- just expect a well-prepared, decent meal. Only con: service related to condiments. When we ordered, we proactively asked for jelly and honey butter to avoid additional trips, but were told to ask again when the food was brought out.
