You can get a quick and cheap breakfast here 7 days a week. I grew up on Jim's Place and loved the place. Now to get a seat on a weekend your looking at 1 hr wait from 7am-10am. The food is not my favorite anymore. It is often way to greasy, the bacon & sausage is super cheap, most of the flavor is ok, and the coffee taste like brown water it's so weak. I would rather pay a little more for better quality than pay a little for a mediocre meal. There are better breakfast places in Jupiter and I go there now! read more

I really want to give this 5 stars but I can not. I have been here twice now and I really can't complain. Only thing I can complain about are the grits. The grits were watery, and bland. Nothing special I wish I got the hashbrowns because they are delicious. I ordered the biscuits and gravy that came topped with scrambled eggs and cheese. The gravy has a perfect thickness, with a nice balance of spicy and savory. The biscuits are buttery and flaky and probably some of the best I have had in a very long time. If I remember correctly my breakfast was numbered 12 but I wish I got 13 because that is everything I ordered just over hash browns. They offer a "garbage" omelet...This name is perfect for what it is but it doesn't taste like garbage. It has ham, bacon, sausage gravy, cheese, onions and hash browns then it is topped with more gravy. I would not plan on eating anything else for most of the day after you eat this gigantic omelet. read more

This is really just a greasy spoon style diner. Nothing special. It's not even a good one at that. People seem to rave about the chicken fried steak, because chicken fried steak is delicious in general. The one they provide here is frozen and then fried like any other place. I'm an out of Towner so I know my opinion only counts for so much... But we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast! I had a classic egg breakfast sandwich; over easy eggs were perfect, nice runny yoke and fully cooked whites. The bacon was crisp, no fatty globs at the end and of course served on a toasted muffin. Went there today just before noon but was turned away. Restaurant was packed so not like they were not cooking in the kitchen any longer. What time do you close 11:45 11:55 or noon? Been a steady customer there for over 15 years. Done, never going back and will never again refer people there. If you close at noon it should be noon not 5 minuets till noon. read more

We love this place! Always consistent, always delicious! We have been going to "Jim's Place" for about two years for lunch and/or breakfast. For lunch they have great specials Monday-Friday and a full menu otherwise. Plus, you can order breakfast at lunch time, if you wish. My favorite is their Chef's Salad, which is piled high with ham & turkey and American and Swiss cheese! Breakfast menu includes practically everything. I love the #1 two eggs however you want them, two sausage & two bacon, or in my case I get four bacon. Lastly two homemade pancakes. Dpn't forget cash only, so bring it with you or use the ATM machine in the back. Be prepared for a long wait on Sunday mornings, unless you get there very early. Wonderful place ! read more

Had breakfast here one time with my boyfriend. It was a decent breakfast. Thank goodness we had cash, because they still do not take credit cards. Get with the times! Second time I went with my mom, brother and sister in law. There were no open tables for 4, but a booth in the corner that sat a larger party. One server asked another if he could sit us there and she said "I guess, but if a big party comes in they will have to move." And we did move, out the front door. Will not be back! Even if they just couldn't sit us there, there is a way to say things and a way not to say things. Bad customer service, no credit cards, and no real wow factor to the food. However, the breakfast was average at best. Instant grits, Kraft Singles for cheese and weak coffee. All of this for $6-$7. I used to like this place however will NEVER go back or suggest it to anyone else. We just waited 30+ minutes for a table. I understand it's Sunday and busy but what got to us was watching a 4 top and 9 top who arrived after myself, my husband and our 6 month old get seated before us. Then we were invited in to wait while worker set up table only to watch yet ANOTHER party of 5 be sat before us. The woman inside (I believe by the name of Ginger) responded with "I'm sorry he set the table up wrong - for 5, so you will have the next table that he is currently cleaning. I hate writing negative reviews on small businesses but I'm sorry, this was complete non sense. We left. We watched a table for 5 sit empty the ENTIRE TIME WE WAITED. We could have been in and out. I have never been a pancake type of person. They usually don't taste as good as they look, however at Jim's place their pancakes are out of this world. I see everyone leaving reviews about their other menu items, but no reviews about their pancakes, I'm telling you they are unbelievable, I dk if it's the syrup or the pancakes, or both, but bc of them I don't get pancakes anywhere else.
