One thing you'll find at Tim's is something you'll seldom find anywhere else: excellent customer service! I haven't seen many mechanics that get as many Christmas or thank you cards from their customers as Tim does (note: I haven't had a chance to go inside his new location because I'm always dropping my car off or picking it up after hours, but at his old location the front desk was PLASTERED with cards). Everyone seems to note that Tim will stand behind the work of his shop. I'd like to provide an example of this: yearssss ago, my sister's old Honda Civic was having some serious issues. It was towed to Tim's and the work was done (I don't quite remember what the issue was). One week later, her car malfunctioned and stopped working on her way home from work. Once again, the car was towed to Tim's. The next day, Tim had called to say that the previous repair done by one of his employees was not up to his standards and that because of this a key component of her car was permanently damaged. Tim not only paid to have that key component completely replaced, but didn't charge her for any additional work and profusely apologized for the inconvenience. Recently, I had to take my Ford Fiesta to a Ford dealership for some work that was covered under the powertrain warranty (clutch problems). I hated not being able to take it to Tim's. Perhaps it was a mediocre experience with the dealership, but compared to working with Tim's Automotive it was awful. I will never take my car anywhere else.

A bad oil filter, wrongfully installed caused the Corvette to leak all its oil out. The engine was saved. So I dropped the happy Honda off at Laurel Automotive for a synthetic oil change, replacement of the brake fluid through the system, and a drain and fill transmission fluid, as I replaced the transmission three years ago this month They quoted me such a reasonable price, I almost asked if it was correct lol! Once the car was in, they called and explained to me just how bad the brakes were. I knew they were going south, so I had them go ahead and replace the brakes, and the rotors and calipers. (1 was leaking) The happy Honda has 170 thousand miles on it, and I have no intentions of selling it or trading it in, so let's just go through the car and get everything done that's needed. I went and got the car, and it's like a new car! 170,000 miles and this happy Honda is beautiful! I can't even imagine trading it in for something I don't know, having a big car payment, or dropping 30 large on a really good used car So thank you, Laurel Automotive Service, you made this senior citizens day with your positive attitude, professional service, reasonable prices, and such respect for this old man. Was going great and very quick, but they tried selling me on a "AC tube up" which I turned down several times. Lo and behold 2 days later my AC goes out. Never had issues with it before. Brought my car to my regular mechanic and was told that the value was loosened, allowing the Freon to slowly leak out, hence why it didn't immediately stop working after being serviced at valvoline. I will not be returning and should've gone with my gut and stuck with my regular mechanic despite the convenience of a "drive-up" service.
