Don't waste your time money or breath at Thai place. 20 years ago this place was great. Now they fix things in your car you didn't ask for. And what you did ask to be fixed never gets touched. I have them $1900 to fix my car and they didn't even check the oil tank or engine. How the hell do you not check the 2 most important things. The engine on my car blew up the next day because the oil was going into my engine and that was the only reason I brought it in. Losing oil and car wasn't running right. This is the message from The Quiet Zone which I just received in the mail. "Get over it, This was 15 Years ago. and we did not take you to peoples court, They contacted you & us and asked if we wanted to be on their show, both agreed. Anyone who believes his story, Just find the case on You Tube." I have a copy of the original letter I sent to the Judge before appearing on her show. In that letter, I made sure she knew that the $800.00 worth of work was done without my consent. Again, it is illegal to do work without authorization here in Connecticut. My experience with the Quiet Zone was as good as it gets from start to finish. I rarely post reviews, but when I see a business excel at what they do, I feel like others should know as much info as possible before they make their decision. These guys are top-notch: Brian and his crew are just solid, friendly people who are eager to help. I dropped my car off and within an hour they had diagnosed the problem. They explained everything that they recommended be done when I got back to the shop. Some mechanics are known for talking down to people, but these guys broke everything down (including price) in a friendly, simple and easy-to-understand way. They needed to order some parts, so I left the car with them overnight and they had it ready for pick up around noon the next day. They took care of the engine problems I was having and also answered some general questions I had as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Honestly, the only shop I have ever had excellent service from. They aren't out to screw you for your money and actually care about their customers. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. While I do simple jobs on my car myself (oil changes, brakes) I will definitely trust them with all other stuff. read more
