Atmosphere is very fun and retro, though since it is a small building, it can get pretty loud if busy. Obviously not much staff can do about that though, and crowds is a good sign for buisness! But if you're noise-sensitive, maybe request to sit away from the main room, or bring headphones. Service was very cordial, we got seated very quickly and served quickly as well! I didn't get coffee this time, but I have gotten a latte before and it was phenomenal. Overall great breakfast-for-lunch joint. My only complaint is I wish they were open later in the day for dinner too! Will definitely be coming back. Eat local!

A simple little country café was just what I wanted. What we did not know was how popular this place was. Judging by the crowd inside and the pictures of all the famous people on the wall, the Coffee Shop Café appeared to have a very long and interesting history. We were promptly seated and after looking over a delicious menu, my wife went with the Philly Cheese steak omelet and I chose the Coffee Shop Special of two eggs, pancakes and sausage. Service was prompt and friendly but it was obvious that the café caters to a large local customer base that probably eat here several times a week. Our meals were hot and absolutely delicious and the price was ever so reasonable. I am no complaints other than the Coffee Shope Café is not located locally to me. Next time we are traveling up towards McGregor, we will definitely be stopping in this great café for another meal

There was also a wine expert there that gave us a trio of samples at our table as he explained the flavors and answered all our questions. He was delightful and got us really interested! I walked in the side door to go to game room (not the restaurant) with 3 other guests and my service dog, who is a small Shih Tzu, he did not have is vest on, but he has been there many time before without his vest. Crystal literally jumps out of her chair in her office and runs in the hallway to scream at me that I can't have my dog in there in front of everyone, she did not pull me to side, she did not use any customer service skills, she just screamed at me. I told her he was a service dog and I think she said well he has to have his vest with the worst attitude. I did as she requested and removed the dog from the building and sat outside with my dog. This was a work meeting for me with clients and she embarrassed me, upset my clients and honestly I have never seen someone so passionate about kicking out a cute shih-tzu in my life. It was like she was having a bad day or something and she wanted to take it out on me. I have been coming to the vineyard over a decade and I've never seen a sign saying no pets allowed maybe the rules changed, and I will gladly comply if they did, but it was not that the fact that she asked me to remove the dog, it was the tone and the way she yelled at me that was so concerning and I think as a vineyard you should know about this incident and that lots of people have pets, Austin is a pet friendly city and she could have been a lot kinder and use some customer service skills to get her point across with the little class and grace that you expect from a vineyard establishment. Everyone is there to have a good time and have a meaningful experience with the staff, not get yelled by an unhinged employee. I have nothing but good things to say about the other employees, everyone is always kind and gracious. Next time we return Louis will have his service dog vest on.
