God help me i wanted to yak after eating to get that burnt bacon n cheese taste out of my mouth. The bbq chips didn't help as they were bland. The lemonade that i mixed ice tea with tasted like it was pissed in. Should have hit Penny Hill, one of the locally owned shops instead. At least there i didnt pray to retch it back out. I am a sub fan. So overall, I like it here. Compared to other sub places, you don't get at much food. You have to pay extra for cheese. To me, a sub should come with cheese - it's a sandwich. The employees are helpful, and are fast (that's what the chain is known for, and they excel at it). The bread is fresh, soft, and adds a lot of flavor to the sub. I've gotten the unwich before, which is a piece of lettuce wrapped around the sandwich, instead of the bread. There isn't much seating - I wish there was more. If you order a sub with the bread, I recommend to order it LBI (leave bread in). Otherwise, they carve the inside of the bread out to fit more food in the sandwich. To me, it's much better with the bread left inside. The music is a bit loud, but it's not too bad. read more

My office on the Treasure Coast is conveniently located five minutes from the Jimmy John's in Vero Beach. While I've stopped in while passing the store, delivery is at least a once-a-week occurrence. Why leave when someone else can deliver the food? The menu at Jimmy John's varies from the "Plain Slims" - that are basically meat and sometimes cheese - to the "Giant Clubs" - which are loaded with everything from roast beef, turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato and a bunch of other stuff. If you're ordering online, don't forget to check out all the "free stuff." My favorite is the most expensive sandwich of all - the "J.J. Gargantuan." Supposedly invented by Jimmy John's brother Huey, it's a loaf of their classic French bread filled with roast beef, smoked ham, Genoa salami, turkey, capicola, and provolone cheese, topped with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onions and Italian dressing. Since the "extras" of cherry peppers and bean sprouts are free, I order those as well. The J.J. Gargantuan is the probably the most unhealthy sandwich on the menu, with 55 grams of fat, 1,104 calories, and 3,414 milligrams of sodium. With that said, if it tastes good, it's probably bad for you - right? $10.00 for this sandwich delivered. And don't forget to tip your delivery driver. I am writing this review not so much for the food quality but the "attitude " I received today. I am a regular at least once every two weeks if not every week, and I always enjoy the food and it's quality. But today I went in and placed my order and there was a bit of a line one person in front of me so they're moving right along and I know they get things out quickly, but this is the second time I've been in there and the young lady who is apparently an assistant manager seems like I was putting her out. So, I placed my order, and immediately she throws on a blob of mayonnaise. I always request no mayonnaise. So she wipes it off and gives me a look and says in an attitude of belittlement "is lettuce and tomato OK? " With this really uncanny fake elevated voice and titled head crooked smile,and I said to her, " why do you have to say it like that?" She just looked away.The cashier is a new kid and he just kept saying like do you wanna drink would you like a cookie is that all? With no sense of certainty of what he should do. I picked it up I spoke to the girl (long hair)at the end and asked who the managers were because I've written two 5 star reviews previously , , I did tell the girl that I was not happy with that attitude and I would post this. She apologized for the other person's attitude, but I pretty much know everyone in there when I come in-the gentlemen are always really happy and very pleasing. And the boys always care about my satisfaction. I normally order (and always NO mayonnaise) the Frenchy ,a pickle,kick in ranch, and another sandwich but today was just the number 10. I was in the mood for subs and decided to try Jimmy John's. I went to their website and looked through their menu. My family ordered four subs, two tuna's, and intalian and the porker. When I ordered I tried to get them delivered. But I'm not in the delivery area, I'm only 1 1/2 miles away!! So I went to the store to get my subs. When I got there they had it all ready to go. Sorry subway but you're fired!!! Ladies and gentlemen these subs are outstanding, I love the bread it has a great texture, and flavor. The meat is also very fresh. I personally ate the Italian,and I was extremely pleased . It is really cool how they assemble the subs, sort of like a conveyor line, meaning they can build your sub under a minute, so you're in and out real fast. Great if you're on a time restraint. I feel that they are going to succeed and do very well in vero beach. Now here's the amazing part, the prices are cheap, you can get an Italian sub for under seven bucks, out the door. Horrible customer service. My husband, 2 boys and myself go here about once a week for early dinner, paying almost $30 every time. It's a splurge but we like the quality of the subs. Yesterday's service however left such a sour taste we won't be going back. Hubby was getting a to go order with baby asleep on his arms. He got 2 subs, a slim sub, 3 sodas, chips and cookie. No drink carriers available. No other customers in store. 3 visible employees working. Not one of the had the decency to even hold the door open so my husband wouldn't struggle with the baby, sodas, food and door. Not giving them my $ anymore. read more

Someone wrote a review that they were in for Mother's Day today and employees were solemn and serious...I was in at 1 pm and I can agree with that. They didn't seem interested in their jobs. One employee could not stop yawning! Anyway, ordered my sub and didn't have to wait long and I was out the door. Upon arriving home I was amazed to find that my sub didn't contain the main ingredient...ham! Bread, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo!!!! How is that possible?! No other customers in the store. That just proved that the employees were not interested. When I called the employee was nice enough but did not offer an apology other than to say that he didn't understand how that could happen....I couldn't agree more.
