Could we please give negative stars. This place was horrible. No ice for drinks. My husband should have taken that as a sign right then! Then he ordered a 12 piece of half original and half burnt. When this place says extra crispy they mean it. Also, why even bake the biscuits if you're going to give raw dough to customers and then step on them to shove them into the bucket of burnt chicken. I'd hate to see how your staff treats the customers the might actually hate. This place is health violation that needs to be shut down. Don't go here. I ordered a family meal that came with two sides. Except you do not get to choose what side the meal comes with. Even though they list six sides, you only get with the family meal two- mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Because I do not eat pork, I asked if the mashed potatoes had a pork gravy, which is usually the case. The person taking my order through the drive-through was nasty and just about spit out the fact that she doesn't know. Really? Can she not ask her manager or the cook? Talk about being a lazy bitch. And it just got worse from there, because when I asked if the meal came with a drink, like meal deals usually do at every other fast food restaurant she again started yelling at me. No they do not. You have to buy the drinks separately. Jeez!! If I could have just left the drive-through I would have except there was a car in front and back. But this is so outrageous - that an employee who is taking somebody's order at a fast food restaurant would scream at the person for asking pretty innocent questions. I guess she was having a bad day, but why would you take it out on a customer ? The one star is for the chicken, which was just OK. The mashed potatoes without the gravy were horrible. My husband went to KFC tonight got home expecting a 3 piece white and a tenders meal we came home we had a 3 piece white and a three piece dark which neither of us like. The dogs like it. I placed an order in the drive through and forgot to add biscuits. When I got to the window to pay I made sure there was no one else behind me or ordering in the restaurant and I asked to add biscuits to my order. The employee said oh no, you can't add to orders at the window. I can't imagine a business that would turn down a sale when there were NO other customers around. They never gave me my receipt at the drive-thru! Could not do the survey and use a coupon for future. Not fair. The lady working this evening, could care less on 1/8/22 at 5pm ish. She was bad. Bad attitude. Made you wait, talked and took orders when we drove up, ignored us, then never gave us the receipt of our purchase. I had to look up online on my credit card at home to make sure it was correct. This lady was so bad. I told her too that KFC raised their prices 12.5% much higher than the inflation. Fast, friendly and polite are the staff at this Vero Beach location of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Food is above average for "fast food" and is generally well prepared and hot. I've never been inside - have always visited the drive thru. Staff are pleasant and have always inquired as to whether I had a coupon or needed sauce for my order. Kentucky Fried Cole Slaw and Mashed potatos' was about all this poor excuse for a KFC Restaurant had plenty of. We asked for Extra Crispy chicken at the drive up intercom and were told they were completely out. Okay, original is fine, we said. Husband asked for a 3 piece box and I asked for two thighs' along with mashed potatoes' and cole slaw. Drove to the window and was told that they were completely out of dark meat chicken but could offer us breasts and/or wings instead. Mind you it was 6:15 pm on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 and they were nearly plum out of chicken in addition to Extra Crispy. Neither my husband or I care for the chicken breast as they tend to be dry and we each ended up with two. Husband's third piece was a wing and wings are so scrawny they are not even a "piece" of chicken. In addition the chicken was barely lukewarm by the time we drove the 10 minutes home. We should have said no at the drive thru and headed across the way to WalMart deli where they have fried chicken for sale. What a waste of $20.00 and we were not provided with a receipt either. The worst part was that the cashier was completely unapologetic even though I was clearly disappointed. NEVER AGAIN will we bother to patronize Kentucky Fried Chicken located on 20th Avenue/Highway 60 in Vero Beach, FL. Their management is incompetent and even I would know to have enough chicken fried for an unplanned rush at supper time. Visited the restaurant via drive thru on 1/13/2020 8pm. Ordered a $5 fill up white meat (breast) and asked if a wing could be added. I was encouraged to just get regular 2 piece with the breast and wing and pay $6 plus. I agreed to order two (2) of the same. To my dismay I did not know you had to request french fries or you received mash potatoes instead. I leave and return asking for french fries in place of mashed potatoes and the worker (very nice) explained about the order then said its ok we will replace the mashed potatoes. I agreed to pay for the fries she said no we will replace them. I was told to pull forward to wait on fries. The young man brought me my order to include fries. I arrived home to find I was given one small fry in a separate bag; one box had mashed potatoes with 2 thighs (no breast no wing) and the other had green beans with 2 legs (no breast, no wing). They did not make a mistake it was done intentionally. This restaurant has really gone down. The quality of service stinks. Where is the owner? Frankly I don't understand how anybody has anything bad to say about the customer service. The lady that take your order is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet other than possibly your grandma. I've been to this place several times and his wife are one of my favorite kfc use. Food is always fresh and not once have I gotten my order wrong. I have had one or two pieces of chicken that have been a bit salty, especially on the crispy chicken, other than that it has always been good.
