    Half eaten hot box.
    Peter R.

I saw this place looking for restaurants near me, and my first thought was meat and fire is good! However, fire is in reference to the hot sauce, not the cooking method. Despite that, I gave them a try, and wasn't dissapointed. I read that they have huge chicken tenders. They were quite large. I got a hot box, which is two tenders, fries and slaw. I got one tender mild and one meek. Meek is nice, just a bit of flavor. Mild was a bit warm... I'd say a normal medium. Fair warning... it starts slow but builds. The fries were seasoned with sweet paprika and were nice. The folks were nice and ordering is on a kiosk. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try if you are looking for tenders.

Food still tastes incredible. Employees are still friendly and helpful. Portion sizes seemed to have decreased and prices seemed to have increased, but this is expected over time/inflation-- I'm willing to pay this price for food this good. Chicken Fire is one of my top recommendations in Orlando. I brought two tourist-friends, and they both understood my love for this restaurant after trying the chicken.

This place was ok. The food was hot when we ordered just not fresh and not as flavorful as some of the other chicken spots in the area but it was decent. The location was fairly small inside, not much of an appeal to look at but the staff were polite and helpful. The cost is very comparable to the competition but if they revamp the inside and added a bit more flavor to the chicken it would go a long way.

    Fries yummy.

Fantastic! Service and food! Closed Monday and Tuesday so kept missing them. Soooo worth the wait. Chicken was cut fresh from the breast and tasted amazing! Love the sneaking heat. My first time so I was chicken. Owner suggested my heat. Great bunch of people work here including veterans. Felt welcomed immediately! Music playing in the background. Tables wiped off with disinfectant. Very impressed. Was just at the VA Lake Baldwin and the veterans recommended it. Will be back. Very impressed.

Quick, friendly, SPICY I'm not sharing anything other people haven't already said, but I have to add that Chicken Fire has never disappointed. Sometimes it can take awhile for the food to be ready, but I appreciate that my food comes out hot and tasty. The prices are bit high for the amount of food you get, but I'm usually good with a Kid Box because the spice hits hard. Interior is minimal with some limited seating. This is more of a grab and go spot.

I used to love Chicken Fire at their old location, so when I spotted this one while grocery shopping, I had to stop. The location is conveniently located at 50 and Bumby in the iFresh plaza, just short of the Mills area that can get a little trickier to park. I remembered it being super hot, so I played it safe with the meek and mild expecting a lot less heat. A slight mistake, because it was a bit bland and both tasted the same with no kick at all for the mild. It wasn't quite as good as I remembered, but I'm looking forward to giving it another shot at a higher spice level. Still tasty, especially with their dipping sauce. The only knocks for me were inconsistent tender sizes between boxes (one had giant tenders, the other had a wimpy one) and the fries being extra heavy/crispy (almost double-fried), which might be a plus for some. The fry seasoning was amazing, though. Overall still a solid option that is affordable and filling...just order hotter than I did.

I ordered the Hot Box with salted fries, and it was quite tasty! I appreciated having the option to choose between seasoned or just salted fries. The portion size was generous, though I think the breading could have been a bit better, and the fries could have used more salt. Service was quick and there was plenty of seating. The decor wasn't anything special.

I heard from the Florida locals that Chicken Fire is the place to go for hot and spicy chicken. This place did not disappoint at all! It's a small restaurant with limited seating, so you can either grab a table inside or take your food to go. The way you order is via the kiosks at the front and you have the ability to customize or add any modifications your order as needed. I came roughly an hour before closing on a weekday so it only took a few minutes to get our food. Now, even though we did specify in our slider box that both sliders should have different heat levels, it did seem like both sliders had the same medium level while one should have been at a hot level. The sliders themselves are served on brioche buns which I totally love and with pickles, a signature sauce and coleslaw. It's a little messy to eat due to the toppings and the sauce spilling out, but if you're ok with that it shouldn't matter too much. The chicken is massive so even though it's called a slider, it actually is a pretty sizable sandwich. The meat is cooked perfectly and it remains juicy without feeling dry. The heat preparation is a dry seasoning so you can really see the vibrant red color based on the heat level you choose. If you have good spice tolerance, you should actually be fine with medium level or up if you dare! I highly recommend coming here for great chicken, crispy fries and a good time to laugh with your loved ones about handling the spice!

Chicken Fire is no joke as fire is in the name. We came and ordered two hot boxes and a kids box. So happy I opted for the kids box as it was a giant piece of chicken and fries still. The seasoning they add to their crinkle fries is delicious and sweet. The chicken spice levels vary I ordered the soulful which was sweet and nothing spicy at all. The other two boxes were medium and hot spicy levels. Which definitely had some heat to them. Service is friendly and helpful. You order at the kiosk and all food comes out Togo style.

First time here today with my friend and we were pleasantly surprised. These chicken tenders are HUGE. Fries were perfectly seasoned. I think they should offer a secret sauce that is more salty (like Magoo dip), but the chicken quality was great. Service was TOP NOTCH, and they were so helpful with helping us navigate the menu. Its def a mom and pop vibe; andvery comfortable.

    Munch Box - Medium heat
    Valerie

I got the Munch Box with the MEDIUM heat. The chicken was cooked to perfection. And I was really happy the sandwich had a nice, small kick of heat to it (my spice tolerance is very high so other people might find it too spicy). The French fries had a really good amount of seasoning and were cooked well. The sauce was delicious and went well with the sandwich and fries. It is similar to Canes sauce! The fries had almost a slight BBQ taste to them. So good !! I ordered off of Uber Eats because I was visiting and didn't have a car. It took about 1hr & 30 minutes for the food to be delivered, which I think is a little too long. Also, if you're ordering to-go, I'd recommend putting the Cole slaw on the side. By the time it arrived, the bottom bun was very soggy and off putting. I could only imagine how much better it would be if the bun wasn't soggy. Overall, one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had! For the amount of food you get and the price, would recommend this to everyone!!

What a gem of a restaurant in the heart of the colonial mall area. They serve hot chicken in three different options and can vary the spice level to your desire (5 Choices). Food is cooked to order so it can take some time when it's busy. Quality and taste were very good. Seating can be limited, so try to avoid peak hours. Overall would come back.

I got a kids box here and it was plenty of food for me for a good price. The food was out quickly, and it was delicious. I like heat but was not feeling it that day so I got meak and it was perfectly described as a "squeak of heat." The seasoning on the fries was perfect and I really enjoyed the coleslaw

I don't usually go out of my way for fast food. But today? I did. I made the trip. I committed…read more Because when it comes to Raising Cane's, I'm usually all in. That's what made this one sting a little. Let me set the stage. I pull up to the Kissimmee location already knowing what I'm getting. This place has one job. Chicken. Not a massive menu. Not a bunch of distractions. Just chicken, fries, toast, slaw. Simple. Focused. The kind of setup where you expect consistency every single time. And then the tray hit the table. The chicken? Bland. Like no one introduced it to seasoning. And somehow also soggy. You know that moment when you bite in expecting that crispy crunch and instead you get... soft confusion? Yeah. That. It honestly felt like the oil wasn't hot enough. Which is kind of a big deal when frying is your entire identity. Now here's where it gets even more frustrating. Cane's sauce is usually the safety net. It can cover a lot of sins. Underseasoned chicken? Fine. Dip it, save it, move on. But it cannot fix texture. It cannot create crunch out of thin air. And when the crisp isn't there, the whole thing falls flat. The fries didn't do much to help the situation. Underdone. Under salted. Just kind of there. Taking up space. Not offensive, just disappointing. Like they almost made it to the finish line and then decided to clock out early. And here's the part that really gets me. When you only do one thing, you have to nail it. Every time. No excuses. No off days. No close enough. This isn't a diner with a 10-page menu. This is chicken. How do you forget to make it crispy? Now, credit where it's due. The Texas toast? Still elite. Buttery, golden, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. The coleslaw? Fresh, crisp, actually refreshing. And the staff here? Friendly, efficient, and the food came out quick. No complaints on the service side at all. So now I'm sitting there having this internal debate. Because I know what Raising Cane's can be. And this wasn't it. somewhere in the middle of that meal it hit me that I went out of my way for this and got a version that felt like it cut corners That's a tough pill to swallow in an area like Kissimmee where you've got options everywhere you turn. Great food is not hard to find around here. Which makes subpar chicken stand out even more. Three stars. And that feels generous based on the sides and the service carrying the weight. But let's be clear. I'm usually a five star guy when it comes to Raising Cane's. This just wasn't that day. And when your whole brand is built on doing one thing right, you don't get a pass when that one thing misses.

After my visit I can confirm: that's exactly right. Let's start with the good, because some of it is genuinely great. The space is clean and well maintained, with staff actively clearing and resetting tables at an impressive pace. For a fast casual concept, the fact that food is brought directly to your table is a thoughtful touch that elevates the experience above its category. And then there are the fries. My stomach is practically rumbling typing this. Freshly fried, crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot. They're genuinely hard to compare to anything else -- unique enough to stand on their own. If Chicken Guy sold only fries, I'd be a loyal regular. The chicken, though -- the whole reason for the name -- left me with questions. Hot and fresh, absolutely. But the interior had a wateriness that crossed from "juicy" into something that actually diluted the flavor. Combined with a sweet and sour sauce so thin it refused to cling to the tenders, the whole thing fell a little flat. I found myself wondering whether the chicken had been moisture-injected, because it tasted more hydrated than flavorful. In the Orlando heat that might technically be a feature -- but a good tender should be able to stand on its own before the sauce ever enters the picture. I'd return -- the fries alone make it worth it. But I'd experiment with a different sauce and temper expectations on the chicken itself.

I stick with their sandwiches, as I find them to be the better value. Their brownies are decent too. The team may be small but they definitely work hard without appearing to cut any corners and always a positive response whether you're just ordering, a brief service interaction if dining in, or if requesting anything extra. If you want a great chicken sandwich in a fast/casual atmosphere, you'll likely enjoy your visit.

I walked into Slim Chickens with dangerous levels of optimism…read more Big mistake. Before going, I watched a video on their website where the founders were talking about how, when they came up with the concept, they noticed other chicken tender places in the South "weren't doing it right." Now, they didn't say Raising Cane's by name, but come on. We all know who they were side eyeing. And as lifelong Cane's lovers, that got my attention. Because if you're going to throw shade at Cane's, the food better come out swinging. It did not! It came out dry, bland, and exhausted, with a texture that somehow managed to be overcooked and underwhelming at the exact same time. I didn't know you could ruin a chicken tender. I thought chicken tenders were one of those foods with a built-in safety net. Apparently not. Slim Chickens found the trap door. Then came the sauces. I asked the cashier what sauces he recommended since it was our first time. His response was basically, "I don't really like the sauces." That should have been my cue to turn around and go find literally anything else to eat. I tried the Slim's Sauce, which he described as ketchup and mayo with some herbs. That description was unfortunately accurate. It tasted like someone tried to reverse-engineer a good chicken sauce from memory while trapped in a break room. It was flat, boring, and nowhere near the level of Cane's sauce or even KFC's sauces. The garlic toast was another crime scene. Thin, wrinkled, cold Texas toast that looked like it had been toasted earlier that morning and then left to think about its choices. Calling it "garlic bread" feels generous. Calling it "bread" was already a stretch. The fries were those fake "hand-cut" freezer-section fries with the skin left on, like they're trying to convince you somebody in the kitchen actually touched an actual potato that morning. They were hard, overcooked, and tasted like they had been holding on for dear life under a heat lamp since opening. Not rustic. Not fresh. Just sad fries wearing a costume. And the atmosphere? Weekday lunch in Celebration, and there were maybe two people eating inside. That should have told me everything. A chicken tender place at lunch should have some life to it. This felt like a franchise location already rehearsing its goodbye speech. The funniest part is Yelp has this place sitting around 4 stars, but when you actually scroll through the reviews, there's a suspicious little cluster of glowing 5-star posts from "Elite" Yelpers around the same time. Maybe they all just happened to have the best chicken experience of their lives in the same week. Maybe.... All I know is what we were served was nowhere close to 5 stars. It was barely close to lunch. If the founders really built this concept because they thought other chicken places were "doing it wrong," I have some bad news: Raising Cane's can sleep peacefully tonight. KFC too. Slim Chickens didn't reinvent chicken tenders. They reminded me how badly simple food can go when nobody in the building seems excited about it. With Cane's expanding all over the place, this location better figure something out fast. Because if this is the product, I don't see Celebration celebrating it for long. I'm giving two stars, and honestly, those stars goes to the cashier for telling me he doesn't really like the sauces. That was the most helpful and accurate thing served to me all day.
