I've been to a lot of pollo restaurants across the country and this one I had never heard of until I came to Florida while I was intrigued to see how it checked out that was quickly let down once it came to the food. Our food came out relatively fast as it is a quick service restaurant but that's when it fell short as all of the food we ordered was lukewarm like you could tell it all had been sitting for a while as to the point of where it really lacked had this been hotter I'm sure it would have been better. The spicy chicken sandwich wasn't bad had it been hot I can see the flavors coming out more as it was a decent sized piece of chicken with some of the spicy sauce and some bread and butter pickles which I did find to be a surprise as not many places use those pickles on a chicken sandwich. My lady said her chicken pieces were also lukewarm and she said that had they been hot that they would have been significantly better as it fell the same way with the yuca fries as those too were lukewarm and just left her looking for warmer food. The empanada was probably the warmest item that we received it was ok as it had a decent flavor to it but it lacked a lot of chicken as it felt like it was mostly sauce which was definitely underwhelming at most. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and busy working and cleaning and just seemed to be enjoying their shift which is definitely a plus as I know how it can get in a QSR environment. Even though this had nothing to do with the restaurant I do have to say that this random guy came in and was like arguing with the staff about using the restroom this is after he came over and took some paper towels from the employee's roll who was cleaning the windows kinda random but it was kinda amusing to watch them while we ate. One other thing I noticed here was that there was no trash can at all which I'm very much so not a fan of as I'm not for leaving my plates on the table for someone to clean it up at a fast food restaurant as that's something I prefer to do myself. Overall the food here definitely fell short as I'm not into getting lukewarm food a chicken sandwich should me piping hot when you first bite into it so it's for these reasons I highly doubt that I'll ever come back. read more

The location is on the corner of a busy intersection, but it built a little pathway to make navigating to it easy. Plenty of parking. They offer togo & dine in options. The dine in is served to you on real plates! You order, grab a number, then have a seat. The drinks are refillable, & they have multiple delicious aqua fresca options like horchata & hibiscus. Their fried chicken was incredible. They offer multiple sauce options, but its really not needed because the flavor is mild but robust. Crispy skin & moist inside. I listened so much about this place from friends I have leaving in Guatemala and I was excited to try it. The staff was really nice, and the place was very clean. Additionally, they have plenty of parking areas. I tried some fried chicken as well as the chicken sandwich. The chicken was seasoned nicely, but it felt that they use too much oil or something, because after eating them I didn't feel that well. Also, I feel it is a bit pricey. The drinks they sell are good, but they don't really taste as authentic horchata, Jamaica and mango. read more

They have a drink of corn, which she has Horchata and aguas frescas, also a small selection of sweets. On my experience, this chicken is a little greasy for me, but there's some people that like their chicken that way it is fry anyway. Was in the area and decided to give pollo campero a try! They have a smaller menu that mainly consists of chicken with a couple other options like empanadas, salad, and cookies. I ordered the campero box and opted for the spicy chicken sandwich and found it was a decent portion for $12. I got the campero sauce and was actually a fan of it! The sandwich had a slight spice too it after a couple bites but nothing crazy; the fries were thin and crispy which I enjoyed. I paired my meal with the nectarine juice which was so good! I ordered a 2 piece grilled chicken. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and very juicy! I had a side of sweet plantains that were cooked very good. This was my first visit here, but I have heard quite a bit of good things about their food. I decided to give them a try and figured the easiest thing for me would be to walk inside and dine. I downloaded their app first as they give you points to where you can earn rewards. There was no one in line when I got here, but I took a moment to read the menu. One lady came over to take my order and we spoke a little bit about the food first. I decided to get the three-piece meal and I asked for the grilled chicken. Since I'm not supposed to have potatoes, I opted for the coleslaw as it seems like the best choice for me I asked them about it and they said it was a new recipe and really good. They asked one of the other workers from the kitchen as well And he had the same thing to say about it. You have the choice of a tortilla or dinner roll and I chose the dinner roll plus I also ordered a drink. For the chicken I opted for a breast for the extra piece and they charge an extra $1.70 for that. They give you a little number for the table and your cup for your drink and you go sit down and wait for your food. Mine came out quite quickly, and I have to say that it both looked and smelled excellent. I took a picture and started to eat. I also got a side of their barbecue sauce with my meal. The barbecue sauce is kind of bold with really good flavor. I actually use most of it with the role and the coleslaw. The coleslaw was a little creamer than I usually like, but it was Very flavorful. I really enjoyed it and adding some of the barbecue sauce just gave it a whole Nother depth. It was after I started eating then I realized I had received the fried chicken instead of the grilled. On the ticket it shows fried, but since I had never had their chicken at all, I decided to just go ahead and enjoy it. The chicken had really good flavor. Some places you get flavor in the breading, but then the chicken is just bland. Thankfully, this was not like that. The dark meat was a bit too greasy for me, but everything tasted good And I was very happy with my meal. I felt it was a bit expensive but it is in line with the pricing from several other chicken restaurants. I can't say that they are my favorite place for chicken, but I will definitely eat here again and next time I will make sure I get the grilled chicken so I can see if it taste just as good. I also want to try their empanadas. The restaurant itself is colorful and nice inside. While I was dining, an employee was busy clearing tables and cleaning the floor. Apparently, when you are done eating, you leave your dishes on the table and they come out and clean them up. If you're looking for some tasty chicken and you are near one of their locations. Came here for a Yelp event! Love how they have a drive-thru. The service was nice and fast and it seemed like they had a lot of foot traffic inside the quick service place. In the bag, I got two pieces of rotisserie chicken and a side of mac n' cheese. Unfortunately they ran out of dinner rolls (but I came around 8pm). Food was ok; not so much taste.
