I've been back here a couple times to die now and I always enjoy the food. On my latest visit I saw that they had a special on a three-piece box that came with chicken, nuggets, fries, and a drink. This sounded pretty good, but since I'm not supposed to eat root vegetables, I went to the counter and inquired if I could get a different side. I was informed that they could not change anything about that that particular special but they suggested a three-piece combo which is the same price. The difference being that you don't get the nuggets but get a choice of bread or a tortilla. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed. I did go with the three-piece combo which consisted of three pieces of dark chicken and I got the Campero rice for my side. I also had the dinner roll and a regular drink. Along with this I ordered one of their empanadas because I haven't had one yet. They gave me my number and I went and got my drink and found a place to sit. A very short time later, they came out with my food and I asked if I could get some salt. Apparently there was a complaint from a customer involving salt so they no longer carry salt when you're dining in. They did have hot sauce on the table, so I enjoyed my meal with the green sauce. The chicken as usual was excellent and I do enjoy their rice. The dinner roll was a nice compliment to the meal and I was really impressed with the empanada. I haven't had an empanada that was this packed with goodness in a very long time. I will definitely be back but chances are I will bring my own salt. this is a nice location with a drive-through. On the downside from my point of view is the ordering kiosks that are out front. I won't use those so I just approach the counter and get assistance. The lady that took care of me was really nice and guided me through the ordering process and was also the one who brought me my food when it was ready. if you're looking for a good bone in chicken meal, then this is an excellent place to die. I've been to a lot of pollo restaurants across the country and this one I had never heard of until I came to Florida while I was intrigued to see how it checked out that was quickly let down once it came to the food. Our food came out relatively fast as it is a quick service restaurant but that's when it fell short as all of the food we ordered was lukewarm like you could tell it all had been sitting for a while as to the point of where it really lacked had this been hotter I'm sure it would have been better. The spicy chicken sandwich wasn't bad had it been hot I can see the flavors coming out more as it was a decent sized piece of chicken with some of the spicy sauce and some bread and butter pickles which I did find to be a surprise as not many places use those pickles on a chicken sandwich. My lady said her chicken pieces were also lukewarm and she said that had they been hot that they would have been significantly better as it fell the same way with the yuca fries as those too were lukewarm and just left her looking for warmer food. The empanada was probably the warmest item that we received it was ok as it had a decent flavor to it but it lacked a lot of chicken as it felt like it was mostly sauce which was definitely underwhelming at most. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and busy working and cleaning and just seemed to be enjoying their shift which is definitely a plus as I know how it can get in a QSR environment. Even though this had nothing to do with the restaurant I do have to say that this random guy came in and was like arguing with the staff about using the restroom this is after he came over and took some paper towels from the employee's roll who was cleaning the windows kinda random but it was kinda amusing to watch them while we ate. One other thing I noticed here was that there was no trash can at all which I'm very much so not a fan of as I'm not for leaving my plates on the table for someone to clean it up at a fast food restaurant as that's something I prefer to do myself. Overall the food here definitely fell short as I'm not into getting lukewarm food a chicken sandwich should me piping hot when you first bite into it so it's for these reasons I highly doubt that I'll ever come back. read more

I listened so much about this place from friends I have leaving in Guatemala and I was excited to try it. The staff was really nice, and the place was very clean. Additionally, they have plenty of parking areas. I tried some fried chicken as well as the chicken sandwich. The chicken was seasoned nicely, but it felt that they use too much oil or something, because after eating them I didn't feel that well. Also, I feel it is a bit pricey. I ordered the campero box and opted for the spicy chicken sandwich and found it was a decent portion for $12. I got the campero sauce and was actually a fan of it! The sandwich had a slight spice too it after a couple bites but nothing crazy; the fries were thin and crispy which I enjoyed. I paired my meal with the nectarine juice which was so good! This is a small Spanish, fast food chicken joint (think KFC). The young lady taking my order wasn't very fluent in English so thankfully my Spanish was good enough. Came here for a Yelp event! Love how they have a drive-thru. The service was nice and fast and it seemed like they had a lot of foot traffic inside the quick service place. In the bag, I got two pieces of rotisserie chicken and a side of mac n' cheese. Unfortunately they ran out of dinner rolls (but I came around 8pm). Food was ok; not so much taste.
