A coworker recently introduced us to this spot during our lunch break, and I'm glad they did--it's not a place I would have thought to try on my own. The restaurant occupies what looks like an old Popeyes or a similar fast-food building. They have nice digital menus as well as paper ones available. When we arrived shortly before noon, it wasn't busy, but by the time we left 45 minutes later, it was packed. You order at the counter and then moments later they buzz your pager and deliver the goodness directly to your table. I ordered the 1/4 chicken lunch special, which came with chicken, rice, beans, and plantains. The food came out incredibly fast and was pretty good overall. The chicken was a little dry, but I still enjoyed it. The plantains were outstanding--just as good as anything I had on a recent trip to the Caribbean. They also were quick to clear our plates when we finished which was a nice touch. Overall, I'd say this place is a solid choice. It's a good value, the service is fast, and the restaurant was relatively clean. I'd definitely consider going back. read more

Can we say YUUMMY! So I normally don't eat plain White Rice but theirs is Amazingly tasty I've been converted . I ordered thru the DoorDash app and the Chicken Soup was so good with Tostones and ordered the Chicken Fried Rice with also a Steak dinner all were still hot when arrived and very well packaged. No complaints whatsoever read more

Love coming to any La Granja when in Orlando, today I ordered the Churrasco $24 (their thick expensive cut) and what was served was the very thin steak $17 which is much cheaper and not the better steak. When I asked why my plate did not resemble what I ordered the head cashier very casually said "that is it" did not even offer an apology or state they had delivered a different entree while overcharging me, her response was "take it or leave it, what can I do?" Unfortunately her response and attitude was not what I expected, for that reason I am rating this La Granja so low. The issue here is definitely employee training and positive conflict resolution. Employee chose to confront client and not offer any solution nor being empathetic. While I will still go to La Granja again as the food is always delicious, I would strongly recommend not visiting this particular location at 7699 S Orange Blossom Trail. read more

Tostones are absolutely to die for! Their chicken sandwich is good but they definitely cheap out on the chicken, it's the thinnest piece of chicken I've ever seen in a chicken sandwich. Their salad is delicious! You get more chicken on a chicken platter, it is very delicious according to my boyfriend. Service is quick. read more

This was a pick up. The staff was fast and polite. I forgot to take a pic before I added the beans to the rice this is my go to at la granja. The rice and beans were perfect! I love their plantains but I wish they gave more. The chicken was ok but it was a bit pink/red on the inside. I'm taking this as just a small hiccup cause I've been eating at la granja for years (not this location) the food is still good, I'll just order something different next time. I love visiting La granja. Sorry to say I haven't tried anything else, I am stuck on their fried snapper. It is well worth the price. It is a whole snapper fried with two sides. I usually get two meals out of it. The flavor is good. The service is always hospitable. My go-to when I am in the mood for snapper. read more

We love going to La Granja whenever we can. The Peruvian food is always so delicious for how fast they make everything. The sauces at the sauce bar as always a hit! And the ones on table get passed around constant. The staff at this location was very nice and they kept the place as clean as they could. It is a bit loud inside though, FYI. I first discovered La Granja in Fort Pierce, Florida and was delighted to discover that there was a location in Orlando (and now they have two). La Granja has chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. I am a huge fan of their chicken. I always opt to get it with yellow rice and black beans. I also love to add their various onions, their spicy ones are a favorite, from their "onion bar," as well as their various sauces. Their prices are fair and they are good st swapping out items on their combo plates. For instance, I usually have them change the plantains for a salad. I strongly recommend coming here when you are in the mood for roasted chicken. I have a feeling after one try, you will become a regular. And don't forget those onions. read more

Whoa must have had a lot going on. This had been in my unfinished reviews. This had been in my "circle" of places to go before the "current normal". I really enjoyed a simple dish of Peruvian Grilled Steak and Grilled Boneless Chicken which come with rice and plantains. One of those meals that leave you "full" but not too "full" level of satisfaction. There are now a couple of locations; that being said, quality and experience may vary. The only thing I wish would be different is that before the "current normal", after placing your order, you would pick up your meal from an open area at the side of the registers along with other people's meals who pick up their meals when their number is called, same way as Pollo Tropical but from a larger pick up table to accommodate more orders. What I don't like about that is that one sneeze across 8 orders and..well you know. Aside from that, a tasty filling meal at reasonable prices. read more

Its a huge menu with too many things to choose from. The rice here is so gooooooooooood. I eat rice a lot and its not as simple as ppl make it seem. Theres an art to cooking rice. I got a fried seafood mix it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. My sister had some steak but it didn't have much flavor. Mixed with the rice it was so good. They have plenty of seating and the establishment is pretty clean. read more

The absolute best place to eat if you're around OBT or the Florida Mall (and let's face it, unless dodgy tacos are more your jam, the food there is garbage). I'll always go a little out of my way to eat here! If you're into authentic Peruvian style food or similar at all, La Granja is your new favourite place for an affordable meal served fast-food style. My favourite is the 1/4 chicken with black beans, rice and banana with a drink of my choice, all for less than $7. The portions are more than generous - I rarely need to eat for the rest of the day after grabbing lunch here. Everything is quite simply delicious, cooked quickly but perfectly and not dried out at all. Needless to say it's always pretty busy at lunchtime! One thing to note - if you have a non-American accent, it may be a little difficult to order without putting one on (not sure why, I have this issue every time & got given apple soda instead of water before). The cashier will sometimes shout your order number in Spanish when it's ready, so a basic knowledge of Spanish can be helpful if you don't want to miss out on your food. Overall the price is incredible for what you get and the food is the perfect lunch - one of those rare places I seriously crave when I'm not in town! I can't believe this place wasn't full! The food is amazing and fresh. The restaurant sits like a fast food place, but the food is like fine dining. After reading some reviews (good ole Yelp ;) decided to stop by for lunch. Got 1/2 lb chicken, rice, black beans, plantains, and a drink for $9. Food is served FAST, off the grill. Chicken is juicy, rice is not over cooked, and mixed with the black beans...OMG! Fried bananas is a nice treat. They have a condiment bar with salsa, onions, and my personal fav. Onion sauce. Oh Granja, how I love thee! This is my go to any day of the week, lunch or dinner. Their menu is amazingly delicious and can fit any price range. Don't feel like spending too much, but you're really hungry? $6 lunch special with a quarter chicken and rice and beans. Condiment bar is on point with the different salsas (their garlic sauce is so good.) Feel like something new and spending a bit, try the lomo saltado (perfectly sautéed beef with French fries and rice, tomatoes and onions with an oyster sauce) , tallarin verde(a green spaghetti made with a spinach sauce served with beef and perfectly crisp golden potatoes) or the chupe (a delicious seafood stew that will make any one feel off to the races if you what I mean). Can you tell I really like this place? The employees are great and very attentive always,too. Don't be scared if there is a line when you go, it moves fast. Fish Ceviche: 10/10 -fresh grouper ceviche -authentic leche de tigre ( lime juice mixture ) talların verde: 8/10 - delicious, well cooked churrasco -plentiful Lomo saltado: 7/10 -yummy saltado sauce -fries were a little cold but the service was great and they very quickly and nicely gave us a new fresh batch

The service was friendly but a bit slow on the drinks. We went on a Wednesday evening and it got a bit crowded and loud for a bit, so it's a popular place! The food was all very good, and I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order here! It's located in a shopping center amongst a few other restaurant options, and again, it's a great choice!
