    Papa a la Huancaina

As a Peruvian, this is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurant in Orlando! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is casual and staff are very friendly as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you want to start with an appetizer their papa la huancaina is pretty good. My only critique is that the sauce is more on the liquid side, but that's a personal preference. I still recommend trying it out. For an entree though, I highly recommend either going with the lomo saltado or ceviche as those dishes never disappoint! If you are ever craving Peruvian food, then look no further this is your place.

I was in the mood for ceviche and this place hit the spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place on the outside looked like a little hole in the wall local restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was impressed by their large menu of different items from ceviche, tacos, to sushi rolls. They give you complimentary toasted corn to munch on while you're looking over the menu. The ceviche was nice and refreshing with fresh fish! Highly recommend. Service was pretty quick too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music was loud so expect to talk loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has had a bit of a revamp including more seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is small but they were very accommodating with a party of 7.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered several different dishes and everything was so delicious! Aeropuerto, leche de Tigre, anticucho, jalea, seafood rice, seafood pasta. 10/10, I recommend this spot.

*El Achorado is ceviche and fried fish inside - perfect plate!!!

This place never disappoints! The quality of the food is consistently amazing -- truly authentic Peruvian flavors that, in my opinion, represent the best of Peruvian cuisine in Orlando (and maybe even all of Florida). The service is always friendly and quick, except during the busiest times, which is understandable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is relaxed and casual, but I do think the location could use a little refresh -- some chairs are peeling, and the walls could use a touch-up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It might be because they've been expanding and opening new locations around Orlando, which is great to see! Still, a little extra care here would make this spot absolutely perfect. Either way, the food keeps me coming back every single time! I am posting the photo of what we had - ceviche and the fried fish called Jalea- the plate is " el achorado "

My first time trying Peruvian food! I loved everything and the food came out fast. The fish in the ceviche was super fresh and the flavors were great! Will definitely be back.

Thank you Yelp for surfacing this gem of a spot! In an unassuming strip mall, Aji Ceviche is SERVING (delicious Peruvian food). I was in town for vacation and my travel partner had never tried Peruvian food. Florida is one of the best in the states to enjoy Peruvian cuisine (IMHO!) [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seemed like mostly locals here which made me feel even better about this pick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the: *Ceviche Sampler (Classic, yellow, and rocoto pepper cream) - great way for my friend to try all of them! We stuck with fish only rather than the pricier seafood mix. The fish tasted fresh and was tender! We liked all three equally. I also enjoy how balanced their ceviche is - sometimes it can be TOO acidic but Aji has found the right balance *Lomo Saltado - classic Chifa. really solid lomo here. HUGE portion too! Love that they didn't mix in ALL the fries when served, so I could self mix (for less soggy!) They have a pretty expansive menu so this seems like a fun place for groups!

If you are looking for a great tasting Peruvian food- Aji Ceviche Bar, is the place to come. This is my wife and I FAVORITE place to eat Peruvian food! Since they opened up a few years ago, we have been coming and have never had a bad experience. We love their food and drinks. My wife being Peruvian, says it reminds her of food from home. The service is excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although the ambience has changed over the years, it is still great restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will continue to come and enjoy all their various dishes!!

Arroz Norteno. Adding the Salsa Criolla enhances the spice level.

This week, I'm all about Peruvian food! I found a great little spot and tried the Arroz Norteno. It had a tasty mix of squid, shrimp, scallops, and mussels with rice and cilantro sauce. I love spicy food, so I added Salsa Corilla, which gave it the extra heat I was looking for. It paired really well with the dish! Definitely worth the visit.

Fantastic food and lovely ambiance! Service was quick and attentive. The food here is honestly amazing. Ceviche was perfect (wasn't able to get a picture because we started eating and just didn't stop. It was that good). If you like seafood, this is where it's at.

This place makes an excellent semi-frozen Pisco Sour. The food is just okay. The fish in our Tiradita was so stringy and tough we had to cut it with a knife. The yellow potatoes in the Causa were rather gritty. And the Arroz con Mariscos was so heavily sauced and overcooked that it was risotto-like. There are lots of better places for Peruvian cuisine in Orlando.

Feels somewhat like a small-town diner. The menu has awesome choices, but there's a ton of stuff that is $30+ (several $50+) and I really didn't want to spend that much on lunch. I picked a snapper sandwich with a side caesar & my friend got a shrimp quesadilla. They came out about 10-15 mins later. price seemed a bit high, but i know costs have skyrocketed lately, so them's the breaks. The fish on my sandwich was flavorful - but very dry. Would have been better cooked with some kind of fat. The bread was fluffy & nice, but fell apart right away. The veggies in the sandwich were fresh & bright. The caesar side was amazing. they gave me tartar & ketchup, so i asked for cocktail sauce because ketchup is weird for this. No problem. I didn't even finish half because it was so big! My friend's quesadilla was very tasty, but for some reason, it's an absolute oil slick. So the opposite end of the spectrum lol. She enjoyed it but couldn't finish because it was too greasy. There was a thick layer of oil on the plate and on the quesadilla. The ladies working there are really nice & helpful. They checked on us several times. I paid really fast & they got us out the door in less than 45 minutes! I would love to get some of the fancier stuff sometime, but would probably want to eat it elsewhere, because the diner feel doesn't match how fancy the food is. But overall, great experience with the asterisk being the cooking styles & plain appearance. I thought i got pics but can't find them now, but the presentation was great.

Walking in, I was greeted by a friendly young gentleman. I had placed a to-go order and within minutes, my food was handed to me. I had ordered the grouper with fried rice and vegetable medley and the calamari appetizer. I have to say that both the grouper and calamari were excellent. The fried rice and vegetable medley were also pretty amazing. The prices here are very good. The grouper plate was about twenty-two dollars and the calamari was about eighteen dollars. The quality of the food could definitely rival more expensive restaurants. I will definitely have to return here and I will give it five stars for an incredible meal.

It was 30 minutes from our hotel, so I was hopeful that it wouldn't disappoint! We got there relatively early (20 minutes after they opened for the day), and nobody else was there, so that was kind of awkward, as was being told to order from a kiosk (or use the QR code at the table), rather than give my order to a human. But the kiosk allowed us to kind of 'shop' before making our decision, so that was good. Since we were the only customers, everything came out fast and fresh (in fact, his came out a few minutes before mine, so I had to steal his fries until mine came out, lol) Hubs got the Ultimate Smash Burger and Fries, which was delicious. Soft bun, big burger, delicious fries. I got the Chicken Dippers, and y'all - they were HUGE! And you got SIX of them! Well-seasoned and well-fried, with a flavor that I know I've had before (spice-wise), but I couldn't put my finger on. I ended up only eating two of the tenders, and brought the other 4 home for leftovers. The staff were all super-friendly and attentive. They gave me a box/bag for my leftovers, and bussed our trays when we were done. Seating is ALL tables, so if you're a "Booth Person" you might be bummed. But the seats were comfy, even on a bigger tushie like mine. Paper towels, salt & pepper, and ketchup were on the tables. The only 'con' for me was the hush puppies... it had pieces of corn in it. This is a personal preference, of course, but I like my HPs without pieces of corn or onions, so I didn't ding them for that! Great job to everyone here, everything was delicious. It's on my "Must Go Back" list for next time I'm in the area.

The Orlando food scene blows away the options in Tampa. I love coming over here to check out all the fine dining. First of all, the restaurant is inside of the Ritz-Carlton so you already know from the get go it better be classy, and delicious because that's exactly what comes with the Ritz name. When we pulled up, valet let us know that valet was free since we were eating at the restaurant. We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation and they were still able to seat us. Up first, they bring around a bread trey. We decided to try all 3 breads. Mom liked the cheesy round looking bread best. I'm a classic sourdough baguette type myself. The croissant looking bread was just alright, both of us thought it was a distant 3rd best. I have no idea what the first compliments of the chef was, but it was delicious. We decided to split a $24 Knife Wedge. When it came out, neither of us were sure if they brought us the right food item. After diving in though they definitely did. It was super duper delicious. A wedge salad not like anything I've had anywhere else. For the main entree I had the $38 Pappardelle Bolognese and I thought it was absolutely phenomenal. The taste, the sauce, the cheese, the texture were all on point. I also got a side order of the $19 cultivated mushrooms. Really different, but excellent. My mom got the $64 Prime Filet Mignon 6 oz. Holy smokes this thing was cooked to perfection. It was weird too because it was super plain, a slight amount of salt, and I didn't taste anything else added to the cut of meat. I was surprised it was this good, and yet so plain. This was easily one of the most tender cuts of meet I've ever had. I was amazed at the quality. Then, after our entrees we had sorbet as compliments from the chef. However, between our salad and entree there was an hour wait for food. The staff claimed some massive order went in and backed up the kitchen. After speaking with our waiter and the Maître D' they agreed that this was unacceptable for a Michelin restaurant like this. They made it up by comping my entree and bringing us 2 desserts free of charge. I really have no idea which of the 2 desserts they brought us. 1 was pretty weird. The other was an excellent type of key lime pie. And then, we had some gummies for dessert. Beautiful restaurant. Exquisite experience. Top notch restaurant in Orlando. I would say, I did not order a cocktail as they are $36+ which is nuts. Highly recommend!
