A great place for couples or bring the family, Food was tasty and filling, plenty food to choose from and flavor was on point. We ordered the tostones with steak and special sauce that was super delicious. We learned that we could have ordered meat without fat trim and order it meat tenderized. Side items such as beans and rice were so delicious, service was a bit dry upon arrival but the ladies really brought it home with attention and service. Ambience was great with great music for a Tuesday. Plenty of handicap and regular parking. read more

The food was amazing and the service from our server meli was so kind the restaurant was clean and all the staff was lovely

Please give this review your immediate attention. The establishment is in an unsanitary condition, with an unpleasant odor and visible roaches. Our order for Tostones with Camarones al ajillo was incorrect, as we received no tostones and the camarones were in salsa alfredo instead of al ajillo. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they questioned the accuracy of our order. Following an extended period of anticipation, the tostones were finally presented, however, the remainder of my order had unfortunately become cold during this interval. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, there was a conspicuous absence of any form of apology, and we were subsequently charged for the inedible components of the meal. The only positive aspects of our experience were the Diet Coke and Stella beverages. Objectively, I would rate this establishment as extremely poor. We took the food to go I plan to give it away to a homeless person but after carefully rearranging my thoughts I would't give that food to a homeless person nor my enemy if I had one. Save your money! read more

The food was very good. Loved the beans, arepas, steak!! It was about 7. They have a bar area an a restaurant area. Music blasting at the bar. Prices are $25 and up or slightly lower with such plates of tacos. And was good. And pretty fast. We enjoyed the restaurant. Service was great. read more

The first thing we noticed upon approaching the restaurant was the thunderous music. There is a bar area which had very very loud music playing. Thankfully they had a dining area enclosed with available seating which shielded the music a little bit. Definitely a party vibe not what I was expecting at 4:00 in the afternoon. We sat down and reviewed the menus and decided on our choices. The juices were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately my first choice for entree was not available so I had to scramble and figure out what else I would order. I chose the carne milanesa. As you can see by the photo it came out burned and the oil seemed old. The meat was tough and not of best quality. The beans were delicious but that was the only redeeming quality of the meal. I was so loud even in the dining room that we could not speak to each other without raising our voices and our waitress had to repeat herself multiple times. I don't know if it's this loud all the time but it was not a good experience. read more

This is a great place for your Colombian food fix! Look at the menu- there's a great variety of Latin dishes. I had the lunch special, which was Arroz con Pollo, chicken soup, and Maduros for about $11. It's all authentic and great tasting. If you cross your eyes and beat on your head a few times, and look at the building sideways out of the corner of your eye you will see that it used to be a Pizza Hut a long time ago. But if I didn't tell you this you never would've known it. They've added on to the front a huge indoor outdoor dining area that will be very handy if Covid shut things down again because it's able to be opened up to the outdoors yet still has a regular roof over its head. Additionally, there are some tables on the side that have nice umbrellas above them. I'm thinking you might be able to bring your dog here. I would call to ask to be sure. The wait staff is bilingual, and friendly... read more

After spending a day @ Gatorland. We were starving for Mexican food. We saw this place & decided to try it. It was not Mexican food. The waitress was not very friendly. Felt like she was pressuring us to order quickly even though the restaurant only had a few stragglers in there. Not busy @ all. Had ordered empanadas as starter. She forgot to bring that. My kids ordered fettuccine Alfredo. It was bland. S.O. ordered carne asada but he said it was more like New York steak. Also ordered calamari but it was burnt as you can see. When asked to redo it, the waitress brought calamari back & said, "Is that better?" Kinda sassy, ya think? Of course anything that isn't burnt is much better. Now as a first timer here, I can tell you that we will not be returning. Food was not impressive. Service was not impressive. read more

This place makes solid Colombian food. I got the carne asada and I was pretty pleased with my dish, my frijoles were a little bit colder than expected, but this place is cold in general lol! Good size portions, just the way it's served in Colombia, and the tostones and rice were cooked nicely! My party had 2 entrees, a natural juice, and a water and the total was around $40ish. Overall, not too bad, the service was quick for a Friday around 5pm! Staff is friendly and attentive. read more

If you like paying rent move on! Place is a dumpster fire I've been paying rent while I purchased a condo. They found 40 bags of cocaine in the bottom of the pool. Great place, I'd fine a hotel! read more

If you're coming here be prepared to wait. Parking is limited but the car wash next door is permanently closed so don't hesitate to park there. While the food is good and the servings are large the food takes a while to come out. Price point is also a bit steep. I had the Churrasco Marinero, and while it was good the steak was not the typical skirt steak that is used. Everything else tasted good. The mojitos were presented nicely and strong. The cuatro leches was good! Rich and sweet, the dulce de leche made a pleasant difference. Maracuya (Passion Fruit) Juice was good too. Be warned that this place is loud, too loud to hold a conversation with anyone that is not directly next to you or in front of you. read more

This is our fav Colombian spot, always great for a quick lunch with lots of outdoor seating. Staff doesn't speak much English but they are nice and will be able to take your order easy. Mojitos are my go-to they make them strong. I only go in the afternoon and I try to avoid dinner time bc it's more of a party atmosphere. read more

Las Palmas - 1. Bandeja Paisa - Colombian Near Me - Orlando, Florida

The food has good taste but is not authentic Colombian food anymore, it seems to be infused with Caribbean seasoning which is great if that's what you're looking for, it is also called now las palmas latin food or fusion not longer las Palmas Colombian food so beware. Prices are reasonable, and parking can be hectic after 5pm due to music and drinks in the patio. I believe they also have hookahs for purchase. read more

Worst service. Super rude. I always over look the bad service because the food is alright. But my take out experience was horrible. Asking for anything in this place seems like an in conviene. But when you have a server hoovering over you asking you to review the place at the end of your check I guess isn't. Coming from someone in the industry, do better and stop being money hungry when you can't provide the service. read more

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE NOT COLOMBIAN. You will not be served. They are very rude, we constantly had to flag the waitress and my BLACK son-in-law was not welcomed and they made sure he knew. Great authentic Latin cuisine ! The vibe in here is great they have a DJ and a full service bar with great drinks , I got a passion fruit mojito it was so good The vibe is like a chill lounge atmosphere on the outside but with music and lights you can sit inside as well We ordered the whole red snapper it came with rice beans & a salad sooo delicious omg best whole fish I've ever had you have to eat it with the red sauce on the side soooo good ! We also ordered a side of plantain that were fried to perfection This will definitely be my go to spot when in Orlando you won't regret it read more

Ordered through grub hub. My husband got the sirloin steak and I got the tilapia. We also ordered two papa rellenos and two empanadas. The papa rellenos were ice cold in the center and very greasy. I believe these were frozen and reheated in the fryer. The empanadas were rubbery and greasy leading me to think the same about them. I tried heating up the papa relleno in the microwave and basically picked out a few bland pieces of potato and ground beef and threw the rest away. It was tasteless. The empanadas were like biting into a sponge. Tossed them in the trash. The tilapia had absolutely no taste at all. No seasoning, not even salt. I fed it to my dogs who seemed to like it. The beans had no taste either. The sweet plantains were delicious, and the steak was tasty but nothing to rave about. I won't be ordering or eating there ever again. Was not worth the money at all. read more

Dishes are of various quality. I highly recommend the beef soup. It reminded me of Chinese bone broth: light, fragrant and flavorful. The combination meat bowl was of titanic portion but was a letdown. Most of the meats were very dry and bland. We had to dip the content in BBQ sauce from McDonald later on to finish it off. Somehow, that was a vast improvement. I initially planned to give this place three stars but changed my mind when I factored in the value. Any sit-down restaurant that can gorge two people for less than 20$ is a winner for me. read more

Let me start by saying this place has amazing Colombian food, the flavors blend well in most of their dishes, however their customer service isn't the best. They have an abundance of staff working and maybe two servers attending to tables in which you have to request everything when you can catch them. Also a little more on the pricey sOther than that I enjoyed this restaurant. read more
