I chose this spot after checking all the options in the food court for a healthy and satisfying lunch. The restaurant is fast casual and has seating inside and outside of the restaurant. It was very clean and spacious inside. I placed my order to go so that I could easily take any leftovers home. I'm glad I did that. The serving size was very generous and made a couple of meals. I ordered the grilled chicken. The cashier mentioned that there was some kind of sauce on it but I asked to have it on the side. To my delight, even without the toppings on it, the chicken was moist and flavorful. It was a very large piece of chicken. The pickled onions that I got on the side were also delicious. They were sweet and tender. The 2 sides I chose were garlic broccoli and the grilled veggies. Both sides were grilled and tasted great. I would definitely eat here again as the meal I had was delicious, healthy and reasonably priced.

We were starving after a long day at Florida Mall and were in the mood for some comfort food like rice and beans. After reading the Yelp reviews and prices of both Brazilian restaurants in Florida Mall, we decided to go with the fast casual ambiance of Steak Up! The food was quick and tasty, as well as relatively healthy! The service was simple because it was fast casual but the cashier was able to answer all of our questions and the food runner was very helpful when we asked for napkins. Definitely a solid option next time you're in the Florida Mall food court!

The steaks were very dry and lacked flavor. Service was minimal since it's self-seating in a busy mall atmosphere. Overall, not the best experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

Great food and service. No A1 needed for the steak at all. Juicy and flavorful!Hookef on the garlic broccoli.

Pros: *food tasted good *friendly staff *nice concept Cons: *it took a while to get our food *overpriced for what you get ($35 for two combos) *it was an extra $5 to make my sandwich a combo and the fries/drink were small *the only side they allow for combos is fries, we couldn't change it to something else which was ridiculous *sandwich barely had chimichurri on it, it should come with a dipper of it *the wood platter they serve sandwiches on is pretty small and not conducive for the meal *drink lids, straws and condiments were behind the counter so you can't self serve that, even though the style of service for this place is "fast casual". You should be asked if you want any of those items at the time of ordering if they want to keep it back there but you're not

Steak Up Orlando at The Florida Mall Great Food & Customer Service!!! Ordered grilled chicken, rice & garlic broccoli. When I received it, my 1st thought was "This looks so plain" but after 1st bite, I realized food was filled w/ flavor. Went back multiple times

If your in the mood for a quick and tasty meal especially in the mall, I would Definitely recommend here. Staff is quick in service and the ambiance was decent. Food was served hot right out the kitchen and the portion size on point. Definitely will be coming back for the steak and chicken. So good

Our food was fantastic! Fast & very friendly service. The restaurant was very clean, as well. We ordered the filet mignon sandwich with French fries and coconut shrimp with onion rings. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped by around 4pm on Thursday. The place looked slow. There was no one at the register or the ordering area. Then like 4-5 people came out including the one who's their server cashier. Took the order and messed up with instructions as we wanted to get our sides first and eat them as appetizers as our 3 year old was starving. Anyways she brought some sides first no plates to eat from, then when we asked for plates and the rest of sides she's given me an attitude with I'm only one here explanation. Again the place looks dead. The sides are good obviously prepare the steaks and salmon were disaster. Not a good value for the price plus nasty service

The service is so good here. I was welcomed with smiles and the food is just want I wanted and needed! Great location, great service, good food.

    Receipt of the overpriced restaurant

Never again! Half hour wait, over expensive, small quantity. I paid $23 for a churrasco and what they served me was less than half of one. It looks much bigger in the picture believe me. The steak was dry and tasted old.

Food was great. The steak was amazing. Will be back soon. Thank you for your service Lorena. :)

I originally ordered sausage, egg, and cheese, but then I saw the bacon, egg, and cheese and asked whether I could switch it. The gentleman behind the counter said they could do both, then asked whether I wanted to add a hash brown too. Obviously, I said yes. He told me they would make basically anything I wanted as long as they had the ingredients, and I absolutely loved that energy. The sandwich was huge, super cheesy, messy in the best way, and packed with sausage, bacon, egg, and a crispy hash brown. It was a very generous portion and completely worth the price. This is definitely going into my breakfast-sandwich rotation. My fiancé ordered the Godfather, which was also delicious. It is definitely on the messier side, though, so if you are getting it to go or traveling any distance, I would recommend asking for the vinaigrette on the side. Ray's has strong neighborhood bodega vibes, generous portions, and the kind of menu where they are willing to customize your order instead of making things complicated. My only minor critique is that one employee could have been a little friendlier, but everyone else made the experience enjoyable. Another great visit, and we will absolutely be back.

The steak sorta tasted synthetic but regardless, my girlfriend and I commented that we would come again for their lunch items.

First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

From the moment we walked in, the staff at the front entrance was incredibly welcoming and even took the time to show us around the market. The ambience feels like a neighborhood Italian shop, with shelves lined with imported products from Italy that make it fun to browse while you wait. It's a small, casual space that feels authentic rather than overly polished. We ordered the Italian sub with sun-dried tomatoes instead of the standard toppings, along with the chicken cutlet sandwich with vodka sauce. Both sandwiches had excellent flavor and tasted fresh. The sun-dried tomatoes were a great addition to the Italian, although I do think it could have used a little more meat. Considering the price, I expected it to be a bit more generously filled. The chicken cutlet sandwich was delicious overall, but the cutlet itself was a little dry. I asked for extra sauce, and initially the employee seemed reluctant and tried to charge me for it. After I showed him how dry the sandwich was, he gave me the sauce, which made a huge difference and brought the sandwich together. That interaction was really my only service-related critique. Overall, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, the sandwiches are satisfying, and the market has a unique charm you don't find at most sandwich shops. While it's definitely on the pricier side, the authentic atmosphere and quality make it a place I'd happily come back to. I'd love to work my way through more of the menu on future visits.

After a 10 mile hike at Orlando Wetlands, I was ready to eat. I'd read about Stasio's on some…read more"best sandwich" lists and decided it was time to try it out. I will be going there after every Saturday hike forever more. The lists did not lie. Stasio's delivered the best sandwiches I have had in Florida. Walking in, I must have looked confused because I heard a knowing voice ask if it was my first time in. I admitted that it was and a delightful employee walked over to me to show me around. Stasio's has a deli counter, a coffee counter, and several shelves with Italian foods. I quickly learned that sandwiches are ordered at the deli and brought out to the waiting area when ready. Coffee is ordered at a cash register and the coffee is poured or prepared after purchase. Any prepared foods, together with sandwiches and fresh bread, are paid for at one of two registers. Despite the crowd -- and it was crazy busy -- everything was remarkably efficient and the staff showed no sign of stress. I ordered an Egg and Pepper sandwich and a Caprese Sandwich. Bread is made onsite and it was as fresh and delicious. (I ordered a loaf of Semolina/Italian bread and brought it home, where it was eaten within a few hours. At $4.99 for a loaf, it is an amazing value and a great treat!). Both the egg and pepper and the Caprese were prepared simply and to perfection. Fresh ingredients pack a lot of flavor and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Amazingly, I don't think Stasio's adds any fats to their sandwiches -- The egg in the egg and pepper, and the mozzarella in the Caprese do all the work. There are seats at a bar along the front window and a few tables outside, but I chose to eat in my car. At a peak time (like Noon on a Saturday), there was not a lot of available seating but it did seem that chairs opened up fairly quickly. After a 10 mile hike, I just did not think it was fair to anyone who might be seated next to me to have to sit next to me! No photos but others have shared enough that you can picture the experience!
