    Lomo salteado

Peruvian Chicken is a small little restaurant in a plaza with really good Peruvian food. With the name as Peruvian Chicken, you have to get the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides. Out of all the meals my friends and I got, it was the most economical at about $17. A word of warning, it is large enough to feed two people. Both the Lomo salteado & the skirt steak had very good flavor and the white rice was buttery. Our waitress was helpful with explaining the menu and attentive with water refills.

I wanted to try a differrnt place for lunch. They had an all-inclusive with lunch. This was to-go. Chicken with rice, etc. There was BARELY any chicken! I don't drink soda, and have water at home. I asked them to make the portion a bit larger, but noticed it was kind of small. Then I asked him what drink is included. I wanted to try the Inca Kola, but he said no. Then, I walked out.... Annoyed with spending $15 on this. The side (potato) simply makes you feel "full". All I can say is, I wish them luck and I won't be bwck.

Highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Peruvian food and Peruvian Chicken. As a Peruvian, I am very picky with the places I recommend but the chicken here is some of the best I have tried. The cilantro rice was perfection, the fries and yuca fries all good. The dipping sauces were all fantastic and true to Peruvian flavors. Smells amazing since the moment you walk in and service was great. So excited to have this place so close to home!

1/4 rotisserie chicken with two sides - about 12 dollars

I went with my colleague on a Thursday evening. I first thought this was a counter service restaurant, but I was surprised that we were seated at a table immediately. I did the 1/4 rotisserie chicken (about 12 dollars), which included two sides. I chose the salad and cilantro rice. It came pretty quickly. The portions were quite nice. The chicken could have been a bit more tender as it was a bit difficult cutting with a fork, but it had a nice rotisserie flavor and enjoyable with the sauces. The salad had fresh lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and other veggies, but I wish they had more dressings other than the one provided in the table. The vinaigrette dressing tasted mild and had not much of a flavor. The cilantro rice was much better side as it was flavorful, and I enjoyed the other two sauces provided in the table. There was one sauced that I really enjoyed with the ride and chicken (pink one I believe) as it provided a great kick and flavor. The service was quick and good, but it did get busier later in the evening. The restaurant is quite small with just a few tables, and I saw some desserts and drinks in a fridge. There was Spanish music in the background, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is located in a strip area not too far from the Walmart. Parking was pretty easy and I was able to park close to the restaurant. For 12 bucks on the rotisserie chicken with the 2 sides, I must say it was a very good deal. I wish the chicken was a bit more tender, and the salad dressing a bit more flavorful, I stilled enjoyed everything. Even if we ordered and paid at the counter, this will still be a good experience, especially with the food coming pretty quickly. It is like almost getting fast food in a table service restaurant, with reasonable prices as well. I will visit again for good Peruvian rotisserie chicken.

I went there with my girlfriend who actually lives in Peru. She had rotisserie chicken which came with 2 sides. She opted for sweet potato fries and a salad. Don't know what kind of salad but I saw avocados in it. I had the arroz chaufa de pollo. That's fried rice with chicken. I asked for mine without vegetables because I still eat like a little kid. Don't let the photo fool you, there was plenty of chicken in there. This place is super close to my house and I will be back. Oh, it was clean as well.

I ordered the chicken fingers, fries and a drink. Just the standard experience of a chicken shop. It came with some coleslaw and a piece of Texas toast so that was a nice addition. The food was all good. The crinkle cut fries are a favorite of mine so that earns points with me. The chicken was good. Better than some of the other fast food spots but wasn't overly flavorful. The sauce was good. Couldn't put my finger on it but it had a good flavor that complimented the chicken. Coleslaw and toast were both great sides. Overall, I'd give them another shot if I was craving chicken. It wasn't the greatest meal I'd ever had but it was definitely good. I think there was a lot of hype from people I talked to before trying it but in the end, it was a good meal.

I ordered the 4 box combo with fries and coleslaw. Service was friendly and efficient. We were greeted immediately upon walking in, and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the quality did not match my past experiences. The chicken tenders were small, dry, and lacked that freshly cooked texture I normally expect. The fries also tasted like they had been sitting rather than served hot and crisp. The biggest issue was the coleslaw. After just a couple of bites, I noticed an unusual taste that made me stop eating it immediately. Later that evening, I began feeling sick to my stomach, and that feeling continued through the night. I have had better experiences at other Raising Cane's locations, but food quality and freshness are essential at any restaurant. This visit did not meet that expectation. I liked it well enough but my husband really liked it. The fries were nice and crispy and the coleslaw was one of the better I've had lately. We will come back I'm sure.

We were greeted immediately. I ordered at the counter the basic 3 wings combo (a little over 10 dollars), which included 3 chicken tenders, fries, canes sauce, and a drink. I was told the lemon juice was homemade, so I took that. While the lemons could have been fresher, it was still good with the light of sweetness from the sugar without being overbearing. The 3 chicken tenders are nicely sized and fried perfectly. Crispy breading on the outside, while still being tender and moist on the inside. The canes sauce was mild, but just had the light flavor to enjoy the chicken with. I enjoyed it so much that I used it to dip my fries as well. While most of the fries were crispy and enjoyable, it did get a bit soggy at the end if left out too long. I wish there were more of the cane sauce to enjoy, but it was small portion. Texas toast was also included and that was enjoyable too. It was filling for the slightly over 10 bucks paid. The service was very friendly and cheerful. The staff was upbeat and very helpful, even clearing our plates when done. What I also liked was that there was no option to tip when paying. You just scan your card, and you're done. They call out your name with it is ready, you can pick up the order. The atmosphere is casual with the upbeat dancing music with disco balls in the dining area. If you don't want to go inside, you can use the drive through as well. While it is definitely high in fat and calories, and not the healthiest food, the chicken tenders are very good here. Tender and juicy, while still crispy with the breading. Only combo options are available, and I don't recall whether you can buy anything individually (unless you need an extra item). It's definitely worth visiting for a cheat day, or a nice treat after a hard day's at work or school. Overall: A-

I order four of the same simple burgers with fries and a smoothie(smoothie is $4.00 extra) and spend almost as much as I would going to a fancy restaurant. I placed an order at the counter right before a group of people came into the restaurant. However, I was the last person to receive my meal and watched as each person who ordered several minutes after me received their food before mine, even though it was the exact same food items. It took over 20 minutes to receive my food. I understand things happen, however the employees did not acknowledge me or give an update or explanation as to why my meal was forgotten. It wasn't until I went to the counter and reminded them of my food that I was given communication and my food. I think my meal may have been given to another customer that came after me and they realized their mistake and quickly (and poorly) made mine. As for the food, I split a smash burger, chicken sandwich, and Cajun fries. The smash burger was good however this is another reason I believe I was given the wrong order entirely. I had ordered a non spicy patty and was given a spicy burger. It was very spicy which would be good if it was what I had asked for. The chicken sandwich however was pitiful. The chicken was overcooked making the meat difficult to bite into and more like a small tender on bread instead of a chicken sandwich. The bread was almost stale and not fresh. The Cajun fries were good, however not large enough to split in the slightest. For $5 fries I was hoping for something comparable in size to McDonald's fries. It felt as though my container was half filled. Extremely sadden by this last visit. I was such a fan the first time around. I hope it was just an off day for them.
