Guinness World Records Investigation: The World's Slowest Chick-fil-A Breakfast As a Guinness World Records journalist, I have traveled far and wide in search of remarkable achievements. I have witnessed astonishing feats of endurance, speed, and human determination--but nothing prepared me for the breakfast service at this Chick-fil-A. The restaurant is unbelievably slow in the morning. What should have been a quick breakfast run became an extended expedition through the geological ages. By the time my order arrived, I had personally witnessed the rise and fall of several civilizations. This may be the only Chick-fil-A where the food is technically "fast," but the service moves at the speed of a chicken crossing an endless highway. Naturally, I contacted a team of scientists to investigate this baffling phenomenon. After conducting extensive research, they concluded that this particular Chick-fil-A exists inside some sort of localized black hole. Time, space, employees, customers, and breakfast orders are all being slowed down by an unknown gravitational force. One scientist attempted to enter the drive-thru at 8:00 a.m. and emerged three hours later with a gray beard and a deep understanding of the universe. To be fair, the food was good--about what one expects from Chick-fil-A--and the prices were the same as they are everywhere else. However, what usually makes Chick-fil-A unique is how quickly the drive-thru moves. At this location, the drive-thru appears to have been placed in witness protection and is currently hiding from the concept of urgency. If you have plenty of time and enjoy watching the hands of a clock slowly surrender to despair, this is the Chick-fil-A for you. The food is reliable, the prices are standard, but the breakfast service may very well be a world-record contender. I cannot yet confirm whether this is officially the slowest Chick-fil-A in the world, but I can confirm that it is currently the leading candidate--and the breakfast biscuits may arrive sometime during the next fiscal year. read more

Your local CFA! You know what you're going to get! Every chick fl a has the same menu with the same level of upscale service. It always amazes me how quickly and efficiently they can push a long drive thru line! read more

I normally do not eat fast food, but I have loved Chick-fil-A for more years than I can remember! I really enjoy their grilled chicken sandwiches among many others items. My mouth waters for their wonderful, seasonal shakes, yummm The restaurant is always so clean and the staff very friendly. By the way, I understand that Chick-fil-A is looking to build another restaurant at State Road 434 and Tuskawilla Road in Winter Springs...WOW and Y-E-A-H read more

Ordered through the mobile app and picked the mobile through and used the app to scan the QR code. I recorded a message saying the QR code didn't work and to speak to an employee to push my meal through. No one was available in our line and we couldn't back up due to people behind us. So we had to wait in the whole line to get to the front to talk to someone. They proceeded to tell me it would "take awhile" for 1 meal and I'd need to wait in a parking spot. We were on our way to an appointment and didn't have extra time and when we asked for a refund due to the wait it still took time and they dint seem to care we were told about how long we had to wait. They should have more people checking on the mobile through line because clearly the technology doesn't always work. At another chick fil a an employee is always there to great you and make sure your mobile order works. Disappointed in this location. read more

I have only ever used the mobile drive thru at this location. Check your order before you pull away, especially at breakfast. Several times I have been given the wrong item and did not discover it until I was home or too far away to turn back. read more

I love Chick-fil-A but not this location, the old restaurant was so much better before they rebuilt it across the street. The tables are usually messy and staff is friendly for the most part. It doesn't matter if it's drive thru or dine in, it takes forever to get the food. I usually use the drive thru and 2 out of 3 times my order is wrong. It's a pain to drive home and see that the food is wrong, and I have to go back to fix it. The food is good though but not worth the hassle at this location in my opinion. read more

I come here every day but sunday and it was good up until last Friday, coincidentally coinciding with the absence of my favorite employee. The chicken has completely lost its authentic taste and the fries cooked in pea oil are not good. My dissapointment is immeasurable, and the awful ambience due to the lack of that worker is too much to handle. I will not be coming here anymore. read more

Ordered chic fila meal. Missing ice dream. Called manager prior to ordering and said he would take care of. When order arrived it was missing. Told me to come back to the store to trade in the toy for ice dream however, never received the toy either. Really? read more

Used the app for a Drive-thru express order. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! (Literally, I got the lemonade). Place your order online and scan the QR code when you show up and join the line. My order was prompt, the appropriate temperature, and accurate. Today I tried the watermelon mint diet lemonade and I do recommend trying it if those flavors are appealing to you! Good service as usual. This is a fast food restaurant and I did the drive through so I can't comment on the ambiance but I will be back! read more

As a new Uber driver who doesn't frequent Chick-fil-a usually, I went into the mobile order drive thru lane to pick up an order, not knowing third party app orders were inside. The white male drive-thru worker working March 24th around 7a chose to blatantly ignore me as I sat in an otherwise empty drive thru lane instead of inquiring on why I might've been in that lane. It wouldn't have taken much time so ask if I was waiting on an order. It was rude and extremely unprofessional. I don't want to seem like I'm entitled to anyone's time but to see him interact in a friendly manner with other cars and continue to ignore me was a bit infuriating. What I did was a honest mistake, what he did was not. read more

The fact that I had to wait 30 minutes in a drive thru with only 5 cars in front of me to order and 4 already through the order kiosk was absolutely ridiculous. I have only been to this location twice and both times, this is what happens. I really hope the new one being built at Forsyth and University which is owned by the same person, does NOT have this issue. I'd hate to have to give up Chick-fil-A. read more

Bring back curbside asap. I don't feel like waiting behind the vehicle in front me to figure out how mobile check in works. That defeats the purpose of convenience. And the drive thru lines are too long and take too long as well. I thought mobile was supposed to be convenient and easy? What is this? Regular drive thru is going faster than mobile read more

Chick-fil-A - No convenience at all. Just as long as the regular drive thru line. - Fast Food Near Me - Winter Springs, Florida

Of all the Chick-Fil-As I have been to, I would be hard pressed to find one whose service matches this location. They just moved, last year or so, from across the street to a brand new building. While they do have the occasional mishap here or there, the service is top notch. There have been a couple times wherein my food is ordered and I'm the third car in line- and the two other cars in front of me are still waiting. That's happened a couple of times but not for a long time. Plus, it was a new to-go system they were using at the time AND it was early morning. So, no harm no foul. The food is always hot and tasty and made with all our choices. The team, led by the immensely charismatic Chauncey, is always smiling and eager to please. Our go to for breakfast is chicken minis with a healthy dose of honey butter. Definitely one of if not the best fast food in the area. read more

This location is sub par for what you'd expect for chick fil a. They have a new / improve express line. But it glitches 75% of the time and you're forced to use the regular line when it does. The regular line is slower than a drive thru at every other restaurant you come to expect extended waits at. As this is the 5th time giving this location a shot, I am not a fan of this "State of the Art" location. read more

I've heard of a drive thru door before, but this was the first Chick-fil-a I have visited that had one. The staff was very friendly. I love that they have the express lane. As someone who mobile orders, this makes me feel appreciated. I love that they have the chicken tortilla soup. My local Chick-fil-A hasn't had it for some reason. Overall got my large order in a decent amount of time. My order was accurate as well. read more

No complaints here, they work the drive thru lanes fast, but so far in my experience the mobile app pre-order lane moves pretty quickly. The food and is what I expect at a Chik fil A location. The customer service is courteous and spot on and my order has not been messed up. Lastly, the other day was the first time I tried there chocolate chip cookies and they are great, a must try. Will definitely be coming back!!! read more

I come here a lot and usually get the sandwich combo, which is a pretty good meal, but I made the mistake of ordering a wrap. I feel like the wraps have been slowly shrinking over the past year or so, so I stopped getting them and buy the sandwiches exclusively. Today I gave them another try and I think this is the smallest wrap I have ever seen. It probably has about one nugget worth of chicken in it. The nutritional info online says 42g of protein, so unless the tortilla is enreiched w 30g of it then it's complete BS. Maybe you guys could order some new plastic containers since it barely fills half of this one? So yeah, don't EVER buy the wraps... I'll give it three stars bc some of the meals are not a complete rip off and the staff are always amazing. read more

I thought the previous location was bad. This new location, and the new build concept, leaves much to be desired. It is the worst chick fil a experience I've ever had. Waited 15 minutes to get our food with only a few others in the store. No one came around to ask about refills. If you wanted a refill you had to stand in line because they only had 1 cashier. We then ordered ice cream. It took another 15 minutes to get that. read more

This is by far my favorite chick fil a location. It is easy and convenient. I love the staff, they are always so nice, smiling and friendly. The chicken tenders are delicious. They are crispy and flavorful and not loaded with grease/oil. The waffle fries are absolutely amazing. Oh and the sauce, always ask for the chick-fil-a sauce, it is unbelievable. The lemonade, goodness gracious it is so good. Every other fast food place must take lessons from Chick-fil-A. read more

Prior to Covid we would take the kids in and sit for meals. Morning trips were great as we typically got to see Chauncey. All of our family and friends in this area know him by name due to his service and personality. We do t go in now with Covid and have resorted to the drive through which is crazy at times with the location but honestly it runs pretty smoothly despite the number of cars. Can't wait for their new location to be built and to see what they create there. read more

I have to say this one of most oddly laid-out CFA's I've ever been to. Who designed this did a terrible job. They front counter and the line/queue area is a total cluster. When it's busy, the line will snake into the smaller of the two dining rooms. Why would anyone want to sit where people's butts will be in their faces the entire time? The drive-thru isn't all that much better. In fact, pretty much the only way to get into this place is if you're coming from the south on Tuskawilla heading north. From any other direction you're going to have to make a U-turn, or slowly slither through the Outback parking lot. Otherwise, it's a fine CFA restaurant. Employees are just as nice as any other location and the food is too. That's one thing I do like about this chain. read more

this is how far back they come to give you your food. you wait forever, then they finally bring you your food when you're 5+ cars back, then you have to wait for alllll the cars in front of you to get theirs while your foods getting cold. the mobile order lane normally takes longer than the regular line too? don't understand this new set up but it's the slowest drive thru in the area read more

I love Chick-fil-A. I rely on this place for quick delicious meals when my kids have sports in the evening. When they were at their "smaller" location lines would form and things would take a while and I was so excited for them to move to their bigger location across the street to alleviate that. Turns out, the move has made them slower. Instead of two drive thru lanes, they have one drive thru lane and one mobile order pick up lane. But they only start making the mobile orders when you arrive. So if you are in that line you wait just as long as the other line. But if you are in the drive thru line you still wait forever because they have to make all these orders. It's just not working out. The children look frantic and stressed. At their old location the children still looked jovial. Every single evening I come here I am sent to wait in the parking lot for at least 15-20 minutes which defeats the purpose of fast food. And all I'm ordering is two sandwiches and a kids meal. One time I waited for ten minutes only to be told they ran out of mac and cheese. Idk what's going on but someone needs to come in here and whip things into shape. These people are going to make me start cooking! And nobody wants that. Praying for a speedy recovery. read more

This review is not about the food. The food and the customer service are amazing!!! The issue-the new location on Tuscawilla Road. . We almost got hit twice. We went one time and came out by Starbucks-this is a hot mess. We went another time and came out by the car wash-another hot mess. What are we going to do? Start going to another Chick-Fil-A location. Additionally, why did they get rid of curbside parking...the express lane was not express. Too bad they can't reopen the old location. Oh well. Changed jobs and landed on this side of town, chick fil a is literally 2 min from my new office and has become my favorite chick-fil-A. This is the smallest store I have ever visited and it has the nicest staff there is, not sure how they do their hiring but the staff is genuinely nice and caring. They recognize their regulars and ask about your day and get to really know you. I have a strange obsession with this particular chain and have to say this specific store just knows how to bake their cookies to perfection so they are crunchy on the outside but goey in the center (hasn't been my experience at other locations) their breakfast minis are prepared to perfection with the softest bread ever, at other locations I have received the minis with a golden brown top and almost crunchy and here they make them so it's a soft pillow that just massages your Mouth in the most delightful way, yeah it sounds strange but what's a girl to do, I have gotten to know the staff by name and sadly for me they already know my order and exact ratio of tea to lemonade for my Arnold Palmer. Suffice to say this is my new go to place, not good news for my cholesterol but hey, there are worst things around. read more

Bob Kyle, the wait time at this store is ridiculous. 2 out of the last 3 times I was told to pull to a meal preparation area? How many more areas are you going to create?
