There has been a lot of attention on portion size through Chipotle Mexican Grill and the CEO addressed it in a somewhat out of touch way that made the joke and the attention to portion size increase. With that being said, on this visit (and my last visit), I noticed thT portion size does seem smaller, but overall, it is still a great choice for lunch and still a pretty good bargain. The ambiance here is what you would expect from a Chipotle Mexican Grill, though the outside could use maybe a pressure washing. The service here was not exactly rude, but I would not say that it was particularly warm. I had a burrito bowl and overall, it was a good meal. I would return to this location and as for the smaller portions, while I have noticed it at two locations, I still think they overall are a good value. I will still give it five stars because for fast food, it is still a good meal. read more

This is the worst Chipotle location I've ever been to. I used to eat at the Vegas strip location daily and it was clean, staffed, and had all the ingredients available during business hours. Now the Vero Chipotle is the complete opposite. They're open another 2 hours after our visit and they have no white rice and no Pico. Further, the store looks thrashed and the employees either have no personality or are completely over their jobs. It's actually very sad. I usually don't leave reviews positive or negative, but this is my 5th consecutive time having issues at this chipotle over the span of months. I went to this Vero Beach location for the first time last Friday and it was two hours before closing. There was food out on the counter, not held at proper temperature for safety in the time temperature zone for hot and cold food there was chicken and rice sitting on the counter that was not fresh and tomatoes that were also sitting on the counter not fresh. There was multiple items missing and when I asked if there was fresh rice because I was served less than a normal sized portion of rice than I would normally get and it was the scrapings from the bottom of an empty rice bowl, the gentleman taking care of me kind of rolled his eyes and walked to whisper to the coworker before grabbing rice from the back. The food did not look refreshed the beans look like they've been dried out and sitting there for multiple hours and The store was not clean on the service top. I ended up not getting anything and leaving so I tried again at that same location yesterday at 7:37 PM and again the food did not look freshly prepared. I ordered for items consisting of two steak bowls one steak burrito, two side tortillas and chips and queso. The queso was cold and very chunky like it has not been mixed and the chips were stale, in one of the bowls steak there was an extremely large piece of fat cap that my mom almost choked on unfortunately this was a major turn off and we've never had an experience like this at any other chipotle. If you order food online and it says pick up ready 4pm, its best to come at 430 or later. I recommend to give it at least 30 minutes, otherwise you will be waiting. This location appears to be a little slower, but very friendly workers. Food is good otherwise, typical Chipotle. read more

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. While I understand that staffing is an issue in many establishments there is certainly no need for this combative behavior. Your employee was malicious and threaten bodily harm to me and my significant other. It was evident that the manager on site had several words with this specific employee while I waited patiently (over 15 minutes) for an online order that should have been completed. Completely unprofessional staff. The reviews here appear to align with my experience. They need to weed the bad eggs starting with the lady in charge. Clearly she was already having an issue with the young lady handling the to-go orders. Customer service starts with the staff. Apologies and explanations go a long way.
