Nye was an excellent server. We had an amazing dining experience. We sat outside on the patio, greeted by a very friendly waitress. The menu is mostly shrimp and fish, chicken etc Nye recommended the coconut shrimp taco and she was right on. They are not too sweet and just the right amount of coconut and crispiness. So good I ordered a second one! The pan seared snapper taco was very good as well. It is a chill ambiance and a nice view of the ocean. Great selection of cocktails. I enjoyed a nice crisp Sauvignon blanc w my lunch. A very pleasant place to eat.

Revisited and just as friendly. Happy hour 4-7 with selection of cans of beer on sheltered outside deck listening to the ocean. How much better can it get. As others have said Gaby is amazing

**INITIAL REVIEW** I came across Seaside Grill simply by happenstance. I was galavanting around and about Vero Beach, searching for the TurtleTrax turtles in the area. The last turtle I found that day, with my friend Paula, was located in Jaycee Park. It was here we discovered Seaside Grill, and because it was convenient, we decided to eat here. Needless to say, we were happy we made said choice. Seaside Grill (which I will shorthand to Seaside) is unique as it is a small restaurant located in the southeast corner of Jaycee Park. The building itself looks like one of the larger lifeguard houses you'd see on the beach. There is a lot of outdoor seating with a wrap-around patio area, with two entrances leading to a small selection of inside seating. Take note there is no restaurant restroom, or if there is one, it is not available to the public. Anyone wanting to use the restroom will have to utilize the park's public restroom. Paula and I sat inside on the northside of the restaurant. Given suggestions by our waitress, we decided on two grilled cheese sandwiches with our specific sides. I also ordered three tacos to take home. The grilled cheese with our respective sides were delicious. Simple, cheesy with an excellent cheese pull, the sandwich didn't diverge muc from the traditional grilled cheese, but they added some alterations to truly make it their own. As for the tacos, fantastic, too. Ultimately, eating at Seaside Grill was a phenomenal experience. Definitely would go back here if I happen to be around this area again. If Seaside stays consistent, they will definitely earn their fifth star for consistency.

Our server, Gabby, was so kind and bubbly, she made sure we were taken care of and our food arrived quickly and tasted delicious.

The food was delicious and came out quickly, their service is very nice and they gave me sodas in less than a blink of an eye. You can eat with a view and great smiles!

$14 for a veggie omelette. It was tasty enough, but all it comes with is toast. If you want potatoes or anything else, you pay more. Huh? If you want an English muffin, that's another $3, which is fine if there was potatoes or fruit or SOMETHING else on the plate. We go to breakfast several times a week. This place will be busy during tourist season for the location, when they can get away with that, but it was certainly dead there today, and I see why. Locals are not silly enough to support that. The previous owners always had the place packed, no matter the time of year. That's a one and done for us. Vero Beach has some great breakfast places, where you get a full meal. Mentioned this to the waitress to pass this along to the owner and she said many people say the same thing. Well they're obviously not listening to customers being kind enough to tell them what they want. We can just not return, leaving owners to wonder why. Next time we want to eat breakfast out in this area, we'll continue on our way to Lemon Tree. Or to any of my other favorites (Mrs. Mac's Filling Station, C.J. Cannon's, Toojay's, Kountry Kitchen... ).

Views of the ocean and sounds of wave crashing while eating. Waitress was very helpful answering any questions and telling us about their specials. My snapper taco was absolutely to die for, i ordered a second. Shrimp were cooked perfectly, although i wish i could taste more of the pineapple in the cocktail sauce. Will definitely be back!

Had to go back a second time, the food was DELICIOUS. The homemade coconut cream pie and coconut shrimp were the best. I highly recommend stopping at seaside, you won't be disappointed! Service was great as well:) Good, comfortable outdoor seating. You can see the ocean in the distance and hear the waves. Conveniently located on the boardwalk.

Doing some work in Vero and afterward decided to head down to the beach for a little while. Couldn't pass up eating locally while here, either. We ordered one of each Taco so we could give them all a try. The coconut shrimp Taco had a nice sweetness to it but not overly sweet. The steak was our least favorite. The meat was seasoned well, but it was chewy. The blackened shrimp had a nice saltiness to it, and the sauce on top took it up a notch. The snapper was good, too. The place was a little warm inside, so I wish we would have sat outside, but it was a nice little joint to grab lunch at. Service was top notch, too.

I ordered Mahi with potatoes and creamy spinach. Everything was delicious except my partner's rice tasted terrible. It appeared that it was cooked with water that had a funky taste to it. It's such a beautiful spot, especially during the holidays when they really go all out with the decorations. The ambiance is hard to beat, and the view alone makes it worth the visit. The food is consistently delicious and well-prepared, although it is definitely on the pricier side. It feels more like a place for a special night out than an everyday dinner. On our most recent visit, the only downside (besides the prices) was that there was a very long wait time to get our food. Still, the setting and overall experience was positive so I wouldn't be against another visit.

I ate too much of the bread! For my meal, I started with the steak tartare and it was excellent, high quality beef. I then moved onto the chargrilled oysters which were a 1000/10! Amazing flavor... the blend of the butter and 3 cheeses was perfect! I then had the best pork chop I've ever eaten in my life. They brine it for 24 hours in a sweet tea mixture... I was thinking that would taste weird or sweet but it was neither. The chop was simply the most divine, juicy and flavorful pork chop I have ever consumed. Words can't express the deliciousness! It was 10000000/10. The chop was paired with the best grits I've ever had. I take grits seriously as a southern woman and those were magnificent. Restaurant was very clean. The service felt more like a cafeteria or diner than a restaurant with these prices. It wasn't very friendly or welcoming, and for what you're paying, I expected a much better dining experience. One thing that stood out was that we were never told about any specials, yet we overheard our server explaining them to another table nearby. That made us feel overlooked. The décor also felt very outdated, with a 1970s atmosphere that just wasn't appealing to me. I understand some people enjoy a nostalgic vibe, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'm glad we gave it a try because the prime rib was very good, but overall the experience wasn't enough to bring us back.

The service was good and the kitchen set up is nice, being about to see inside their kitchen with blue subway tile and large heat lamps. The food was mediocre at best. No flavor or seasoning to the skirt steak added to a salad ($34), the salmon special was described as pan seared but it looked baked, the orzo served with it wasn't bad but wasn't amazing either. The sides came in tiny round bowls and weren't even filled halfway. The peas were probably 1/4 cup. The green beans were tasty. The mashed potatoes were not buttered or salted very bland, also very hard to mess up mashed potatoes in my opinion as a cook. Even the summer cocktail list sounded amazing on the menu but was truly underwhelming and didn't impress once served. The cocktails are $17 I ordered the Passionfruit Hugo Spritz and it didn't come with any passion fruit puree just tasted of elderflower and prosecco, I needed to ask for some extra. The overall vibe was nice though, right on the water. That's probably what keeps them with patrons because the food is nothing spectacular or out of this world.
