On a road trip to our annual FASRO conference at the Trump Doral in Miami; with a Sunday layover in Vero Beach, lead us to a breakfast spot called the "Waterfall "restaurant. First impressions upon entry gives you a homey vibe with kind people who seem to be regulars. The restaurant is clean, spacious and well maintained. The waitresses attended to us immediately and the wait to be seated was minimal. I ordered the meat lovers omelette with hash browns and wheat toast, and Dawn ordered the Greek omelette. The establishment was full and busy, but we only waited about 10 minutes from seat time to service. Our breakfast came out hot and well prepared and everything tasted great.. I'm 64 years old and never in my life have I've been told to leave because they needed the table. The man was rude too he wasn't nice about it otherwise my husband and I would have left. He said they needed the table and that was it. Soooooo rude. Never ever will I ever go back. Your loss for being rude. Good luck in running a business like that. read more

The sausage gravy was top notch . However the biscuits were thin reminded me of Pillsbury Dough boy from grocery store. The egg was order over medium it was just shy of over hard. The amount of gravy provided was sparse and barely covers my wafer thin biscuits . Last point they don't carry Tobacco sauce which for a breakfast restaurant is a major no no for me . The service was great and it was cute. The highway men art was nice to see. I got the eggs Florentine, if you do order ask them to be runny. The first attempt came out hard but they were quick to fix it, making them perfect. The pancake was light and fluffy. The eggs were good. The coffee was eh! read more

The comments below are my opinion I had Emily as my server, not impressed at all The food was very good. She is not very friendly and is a rude and unprofessional. I have been to Waterfall restaurant three times before, always great service and good food. There are quite a few complaints about this place, most about unfriendly service and long time for food. My uncle and I like this place. Everything I am saying is exact and not exaggerated. I ordered the salmon omelette, and a v8 juice, 2 minutes after I placed my order I stopped my server and asked her if she could bring me one of the Mexican Cokes. I wanted to try it out, I also requested for them to add basil and jalapenos. When it arrived it did not have the basil or jalapenos. No big deal to me really I figured they just forget. I had to call over my server. Emily, I let her know that there was no basil or jalapenos, she got nasty and in a very big attitude and said no, they did not. I told him to put it in there. I said I understand but let me show you, I opened up the omelette to show there was no basil or jalapenos. The only thing I expected was her to so no problem let me get you some basil and jalapeno. She went into the kitchen, got the dry basil instead of fresh basil and some jalapenos, and stated I talked to the cook and he said he did put it in and rudely slammed them on the table. If I have a problem with somebody I will talk to them about it. I explained to Emily that I believe the way she handled the situation. She was rude and nasty, and had a bad attitude. She stated that she helped me with my order even though she was busy, so I just asking for a Mexican soda and to add jalapenos and basil to my order was a bother to her. Funny thing is, I went looking at reviews I am the first one that came up was that the customer felt like they were a botherer to the server lol I requested the manager or owner, instead, they brought over what I believe would be the bus boy, I asked him for the manager and he said they do not have one in the restaurant. I asked for the owner. I was told she was not there. It is in my opinion from anybody that reads this should contact the owner and let them know that the behavior is not acceptable. I am sure this is not the first time or the last time the server is going to be rude to a customer. I used to manage restaurants, there is no way I would allow a server to speak to a customer the way she spoke to me. I am not being dramatic if you could afford the disdain coming from the server, it is unacceptable. This is why restaurants close. They do not take care of their customers properly, especially if they have a lot of reviews. Showing it is a bad location because of their employees. Long time fan of the amazing breakfast and lunch, tried their Sushi menu tonight. Some of the best WonTon and hot and sour soups. Sushi (Double Dragon) was delicious and the drunken noodles with shrimp, outstanding. Who knew our favorite Breakfast place would become a go to Sushi place. read more

The food tasted great! But sadly was a bit expensive for what you get and the presentation was not interesting at all in comparison to the beautiful art on the walls and the potential for a great atmosphere in that space. The staff was very friendly though there was not many of them. I think I only saw two people in the front part of the restaurant, and they don't visit the table very much. This place is a new found gem for us. Great food, lots to choose from the menu at anytime. The waitresses are friendly and professional. Great prices for food well done. The ambiance is great! It is my new favourite place to dine. The only thing I wish it was open until later hours. Super happy we found this restaurant. The owners are Mexican, they know how to make food. And they know how to make customers happy. Mexican people are a proud people, as well they should be. They are good at whatever they set their sights on. And FOOD is their specialty.
