Everything you could want with crispy skin, plenty of meat, and a sticky sauce that is flavorful and not too spicy. The shrimp and grits are the best I have ever eaten, and I've been to many of the landmark restaurants in New Orleans. The spice level is really on point - warming, but not too hot - with plenty of shrimp and sausage. Grits perfectly prepared, and the whole dish was swimming in delicious broth. Simply perfect. Their tuna tacos were also delicious with a generous amount of sushi-grade tuna perfectly seared. Everyone except wait staff and bartenders usually gets paid minimum wage. Wait staff and bartenders rely on tips because their hourly wages are lower than minimum wage! From now on I will ask every restaurant if they are going to charge me extra to help pay the cooks and dishwashers, if so I'll walk out. If a restaurant can't paid their cooks and dishwashers minimum wage and have to charge customers an extra 3.80% something is very wrong!

We spent half our visit sipping and the other half laughing at the hilarious signs covering the walls and at the antics of a couple of regulars who clearly keep the place lively.
