We passed by the plethora of cars on the way home from a boat show looked up the yelp reviews and said yes- it's a winner let's check it out! So we came in and there was a little wait but I can see why! The food was delicious plentiful and great value for your money we had onion rings and fried mushrooms to start. LOVED the fried mushrooms which were plentiful! The onion rings were also good but I definitely preferred the mushrooms. Saturday night was German night so you can order from the German menu. We picked the combo pick 3 platter pierogies kielbasa and kraut and golumpli! Delicious. Also I forgot I had French onion soup 5 stars! Miss Sharon waited on us with a smile! Well worth the wait. Wonderful food and service with a smile!

Traveling in Florida and looking for something unique and stumble upon this little gem that has special features each night. I went on Saturday which is Polish night. I was seated properly upon arrival. They offer 5 different Polish dishes to choose from. I selected the Combination Platter and selected three perigees, golumpki and kielbasa. The perigees are served with sour cream and apple sauce, very traditional. Prior to the entry, I was served a nice salad and bread. The bread was excellent. The decor is 50s diner with lots of interesting items on the wall. Highly recommended, especially if you go on Saturday or Polish night.

This is a cute restaurant full of nostalgic items. There are booths and tables and a nice menu, along with specials. Our server quickly took our order, but had to wait while they made more iced tea. I started with the French onion soup and also had the Cobb salad. The soup arrived quickly and was probably some of the best soup I have ever had. The broth was super rich and full of flavor, along with the perfect amount of onions and cheese. Once I finished, I had wished I didn't order a salad as the soup filled me up. It took crazy long for my salad to arrive as people all around us were getting their food. Our server was super personable and was spending time talking with everyone. My salad finally arrived and was fine, not too much you can do to ruin a salad. Overall, just an ok experience.

Mashed potatoes were rubbery, weinerschnitzle was tasteless. Salad and bread were the only good things we had.

Some things are good. The baked potato and baked sweet potato are always good. I like the turkey dinner on Wednesday.

We went for breakfast. Sat ourselves and we got beverages fairly quickly. She took our order and did say there's a bit of a back up in the kitchen, no problem as it is busy being a Saturday. while sitting there waiting on our order we observed several tables that were not cleared. The. We noticed our server pulled up a chair at a large table and sat down. Thinking she knew them and was going to take their order which she did not. She sat there maybe 4 minutes just chatting all while dirty tables needed to be cleared. We also witnessed another server who started clearing tables and the cloth she used to wipe the table fell off the cart she put it and onto the floor. I didn't want to know if this dirty cloth which was used to wipe multiple tables down was picked up or not as we were leaving. What's sad to me is this is a cute place, small but has space for more tables if it were organized to do so. We noticed there was a mettle rack I. The dining area towards the back with supplies on it. There was space where we were sitting for another table or two while there was a table for 6 up front where it seemed cramped. It would fit nicely in the back are if it was a more organized. Needless to say we won't be back on top of how I feel about this diner when I got my omelet it had mushroom in it. I hate mushrooms. When asked what was in the veggie omelet she said onions peppers and tomatoes. She never mentioned mushrooms!

He was kind enough to give me complimentary potatoes w my breakfast sandwich since I guess I opted out of the meat. But regardless still a much appreciated gesture. The younger gentleman that was waiting on tables was great as well. My biscuit was one of the best I have ever had eating out. Buttery, crispy on the outside, soft & fluffy on the inside. Last one I've tried else where tasted like it had freezer burn but this tasted fresh hot out the oven. My eggs were buttery smooth, not too over done, & I added hollandaise sauce & that was perfection. It was so dang good, I ordered the same thing but to-go for breakfast the next morning. And he continued to give me the complimentary potatoes which those were heavenly. The inside looks just like a blast from the past diner w some cool historical memorabilia. I also like the large windows w the tables against them for the natural light to come thru. I sadly live in a different state as I was just visiting but I will without a doubt return when I visit again. I can't recommend this place enough!

My eggs came out over easy instead, and the corned beef hash was clearly from a can. The sourdough was light but not homemade, and the grits were just okay. Service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. Not sure why most breakfast spots can't cook over medium eggs. When we went to pay, credit card fees are added to the bill. While the charge is disclosed, I personally feel businesses should absorb this cost rather than pass it on to customers. Credit card companies have charged merchants these fees since credit cards were first introduced, and in most industries outside of food service, merchants don't pass them along to the customer. Overall, the food was decent, and the place definitely had that classic diner atmosphere. If you're looking for a friendly spot for a casual breakfast, it's worth giving a try -- just don't expect gourmet.
