Had a great meal with our friends at Mo Bay. Our waiter was so friendly, so chill and was great to chat with. Our meal was relaxed and not rushed. We shared delicious conch fritters as an app and my main was curried got. Both exceptional. My wife and our friends all said theirs was wonderful as well. We arrived at 2 pm so no wait, and it was a perfect time as by 4:00 they started to pick up again. Sorry no pics but give it try. Well worth it!! read more

I was very surprised for all the right reasons by the small restaurant across the street from the beach. Service was fantastic and the food was exceptional. Don't usually review but this place is My wife and I come here about twice a year for the last several years when we stay in the area and the service A+++ I believe our server name is Emmanuel; super knowledgeable about the menu and always gives good recommendations. The Blacken Salmon on curry sauce is incredible!! They also sale their hot sauce by the jar great in everything. Great island vibes!! read more

Good food starting with jerk wings which were very good. We also have the spinach-crab dip appetizer with pita bread. Everyone like this one. The jerk ribs were excellent. That were the barbecue ribs. The fries were served in a metal basket. The skillet dishes are also good. The curry goat was good. But you have to like goat with curry it's a little spicy. The hot banana cheesecake was excellent. Keylime pie was good. Definitely try this place. It's across the street from the river next to Earls biker bar. read more

Very delicious. The food was well done. Nice job chef! We came for lunch, so I only had a blackened grouper sandwich. The flavors were balanced perfectly and it came with an absolutely delicious sauce. I even loved the side of cucumber salad. It was a different salad than what I'm used to but I loved it. Husband had one of the specials. Shrimp and anduille sausage with buttery grits. His was soo amazing. It had a tomato base. Wow, so good. You can tell that someone know how to cook in this restaurant. It was a little pricey for lunch. I will return again. Nice view of the river. The staff was very friendly. read more

This little place did not disappoint! Fried plantains, the she crab soup with some spice both delish! My husband had the brown sugar pecan grouper and thought it was awesome. I was going to wait until getting to the Keys to order hogfish, so glad I didn't! Authentic Jamaican/seafood restaurant with friendly servers and tasty food. A blackened grouper sandwich and a crab cake sandwich with 2 sides each, a carafe of flavored tea and water came to $50 with tip for lunch. Seafood entrees were pricy ($30-40) so not considered for lunch. read more

Oh so good! We left out of the ballpark without a clear destination in mind. We went North on the A1A and with the help of Yelp, found this gem of difference! The food was so good, from the spinach and crab dip, to crab bisque and then this yummy drink!!! The entrees were all yummy too! Totally worth the drive from Vero. read more

I don't like strong fish taste so never eat it. The Blackened Mahi here was amazing. The seasoning not overpowering and the fish flaky. My friend loved their flounder and soup. This will be on our list for every visit to the area. The staff is so welcoming. read more

Oh no, mon. I heard some buzz about Mo Bay Grill outside of Yelp. We decided to try it on the weekend. A diverse crowd was seated throughout for an early dinner. Our waitress was punctual and took our drink orders right away. But then asked if we wanted to order apps before we even opened the menu. And when we did open the menus, she immediately guided me to two of the most expensive entrees. Mind you, we hadn't even been poured our drinks, let alone any appetizers. We asked for time. Oxtail stew at $36? Whitefish kabobs at $40? Ciopinno priced at $40? (Sure, there were other entrees lesser priced, but $36 for stew from the ass-end of an ox?!) The prices should be commensurate with the location, ambiance and cuisine. Those examples seem way out of place. We settled on the chicken breast curry and the brown stew chicken, both reasonably priced. Aside from the very good beans and rice and sizable portions, I agree with other Yelpers that the dishes were mere 'meh'. No POW factor in flavor or spice. Almost bland given the Caribbean reputation for vivid flavorings, especially the herb, thyme. Will say the key lime pie at $10 was a popular choice with other diners. Likely won't be back. read more

This spot is located right on the Sebastian waterfront,. Spectacular views and a cool location! A Caribbean themed spot, murals and artwork reflect the theme... accordingly the menu includes (I assume) Caribbean dishes. She ordered Jerked chicken, I had the shrimp scampi. I want to really like this restaurant. I've been there 2 times now and the food although is fresh, it's on the bland side. When I think of Jamaican food, I expect it to be well seasoned and spicy. I guess it's catered to the clientele of the area that is located South of Palm Bay, FL. The service is vary good and servers are friendly and explain what is on the menu. Meh. How this place has such a nice reputation and great Yelp reviews is something of a mystery to me. I suspect several of the 5-star reviews are fake, beware. Giveaway is too many exclamation points. Mo Bay is ok, but barely. Don't think I ever need to return. Went with another couple and we each tried different things as follows: overly breaded and greasy conch fritters (mostly bread and very little conch), braised goat that was so riddled with bones it was next to possible to enjoy, a jerk chicken dish and some Caribbean fish dish that my friend said was just mediocre. The dining area is somewhat noisy, dark and perhaps a bit grimy. Our waitress was quite pleasant. Prices were average. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Wesley C.

Mo-Bay's Secret Ingredient Wesley Campbell was born into the restaurant business. Watching his parents make jerk chicken and pork, steamed fish, and fried chicken in their restaurant, the call of the culinary arts couldn't be ignored. At fourteen, Campbell entered a cooking competition and astonished the judges with his sophisticated dish, setting the stage for what would become a deliciously eventful career. Campbell began working as a prep cook at the five-star Half Moon Resort in Jamaica and was quickly promoted to pastry assistant. Struck with Campbell's potential, the resort sent him to Austria for additional training. Soon after, he became head chef. At twenty, he was offered the executive chef position. Feeling unready, he asked them to hire someone from whom he could continue to learn. Always seeking new experiences, Campbell later moved to the Wyndham Rosehall Hotel. When a friend opened a restaurant in Washington, DC, Campbell left Jamaica for the promise of an American

My father's sandwich was not the best as he found it to have pieces of shell in it which was not edible. He said that coleslaw was the worse like it came out of a store bought package. My Drunken Sweet Potato was not fully cooked. My Lobster & Shrimp Mac & Cheese also had pieces of shell in it. I love Mac & Cheese but that was awful! I swear that it came out of a box which is the worse way to make it. Plus the lobster and shrimp must have been puréed in a food processor to form a paste to mix in the Mac & Cheese. I was expecting small chunks of Lobster and Shrimp and a heck of lot more cheese. My MIL's shrimp basket was fine. I have a culinary degree and I expect the best. If I had made that Lobster, Shrimp Mac & Cheese for my chef in college, he would've thrown it in the trash, given me an F and told me to try again! My dad was done and wanted to leave so we paid the bill and left. I didn't notice until further review of the bill that there was a Service Charge of 3.80% added to the bill. There is an explanation for this service charge on the very bottom of the menu in small print. I have worked in restaurants after culinary school and the front of the house (wait staff and bartenders) never had to share their tips with the back of the house (cooks and dishwashers). Everyone except wait staff and bartenders usually gets paid minimum wage. Wait staff and bartenders rely on tips because their hourly wages are lower than minimum wage! From now on I will ask every restaurant if they are going to charge me extra to help pay the cooks and dishwashers, if so I'll walk out. If a restaurant can't paid their cooks and dishwashers minimum wage and have to charge customers an extra 3.80% something is very wrong!

Fun time with conversation from another customer at the bar. The place is right on the river but it was dark outside so no view. Liked this place so much I came back for the breakfast buffet and the river was beautiful as the sun came up. Very good prices for food and great staff.
