The BLT&A w/ greens in a homemade balsamic. The greens were perfect with the right amount dressing. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, the bread was excellent and not too thick. Stopped by Michael's at 7 for a post-run breakfast and went with the Poached and Soldiers. Looked great on the plate but landed a little meh flavor-wise. Eggs were fine, toast didn't really bring much to the party. That said, the potatoes were legit. Crispy, well-seasoned, easily the highlight and enough to save the meal. We had a very large group, and I don't think there was a single meal that was duplicated in our group. Went there a while back with a group of friends and I had the Buddha bowl which I added salmon to. I was extremely disappointed. It was a tiny piece of salmon. I mean, I have added salmon onto other salads at other restaurants and gotten a normal portion of salmon.This was the tiniest piece I had ever seen. Especially $9.00 extra... Came here on my lunch break. This place was recommended by a Vero beach local bartender from downtown Vero. This places closes at 2pm early so I decided to come check it out on my lunch break. The place is warm and charming very chic and lots of natural lighting the decor is floral and delicate. For lunch I had the crispy chicken Cobb salad and Paptini "espresso martini". What can we say... we love Michael's! This is a small, quaint restaurant in VB that serves breakfast and lunch, and on Saturdays they do a brunch. The menu features many local farms we love - it's so great to support a fabulous restaurant that supports our local agriculture! While the menu isn't huge, each choice is a quality dish that will blow your mind with the simplistic yet wonderful flavors. We've been for brunch and their egg Benedict are fabulous. We also love their salmon tartine, which is very thinly crisped toasted bread schmeared with cream cheese and topped with beautifully smoked salmon/capers/micro greens. Lunch is my most favorite- recently I've enjoyed their blacked pesto chicken sammie on homemade bread, topped with mozz and roasted red peppers. We also had a lunch special which was a short rib tostada topped with cotija cheese and a lovely honey lime slaw. They have delicious roasted turkey, some salad options, and even serve cocktails and beer and wine! It's important to note that before you leave you must ask what "market" items they have. They sell a lot of their homemade dressings, their homemade pickles, their homemade pimento cheese spread, and a few other items. The pimento is decadent and perfect! We usually bring home a tub anytime we're in the area (even if we're not dining there!) to enjoy later! Service is friendly- the two usual women servers are fabulous! Ginny is sweet and super efficient and the other lovely lady (so sad I forgot her name- she has the glasses) is also wonderful! We'll continue to frequent Michael's on 7th for the quality ingredients, delicious food, and decadent pimento! I ordered what I consumed there and a Togo burger for my wife who is in hospital near by The food is good. Nothing is too stand out. Though, my wife said the burger was quite good, mind you she's not a meat eater but she needs to try due to health condition. Only item I noticed, besides the waitstaff who greeted me and taken my order, no one else bothers looking at me while the other was not around. We went today for lunch, it was great food and service. Michelle was our server she's terrific, efficient, friendly and not hovering. I had the calamari ceasar, calamari perfectly cooked, tender and crisp, baby Romain was beautiful, croutons so tender and crisp..really yummy. Husband had the Crispy Cobb salad a gorgeous salad with avocado, hard boiled egg, i thought the chicken looked a lil dark but he said nice and tender not dry and he enjoyed; sad the dressing must be made in-house cause it was delish! Lovely lunch in Vero Beach. So nicely decorated! Fun and bright with lots of windows. Some out door dining available as well. My girlfriend and I couldn't choose between the burger or the grilled BLT so we got both and split the meals. Loved both. The burger had a delicious aioli sauce and perfectly pink center. Delicious meals, across the board. Well prepared and high quality ingredients. We went for breakfast the other day and everything was delicious. I got a hot pistachio and vanilla latte that was creamy and smooth. I also got the corned beef bowl which had two perfectly poached eggs on top and some crispy home fry potatoes on the bottom. It was well seasoned and everything here is properly portioned - you'll be full without being served an overwhelmingly large dish. The mint mojito was also refreshing and not sweet at all! I will say, twice at breakfast our food has been served a bit cold, but they've been nice about resolving this issue. We also stopped by for lunch and got the burger deluxe which honestly must be the best burger in Vero, it is perfectly cooked and juicy and I can't recommend it enough. We shared the fries as well which were crisp and a good size portion for the price. This place has a really great ambiance with well paced service. We will happily return. read more

I'm grateful to have found this tucked-away restaurant on my brief visit in town. Lovely, friendly server--I think he was referred to as Papa? There is outdoor seating, and a short, but well executed menu. I had the poached eggs with toast soldiers. Delicious country bread toast. My husband had the egg sandwich with bacon. It was served on a toasted brioche bun. He doesn't eat meat, so I was lucky enough to get his thick-cut applewood smoked bacon. Delicious! Great latte and coffee also. We had Michael's On 7th recommended to us by a neighbor, and were excited by the farm to table concept. Unfortunately, our experience was a bit disappointing. Our waitress was very nice, but the aesthetics and decor of the restaurant were quite tacky, and didn't convey the fine dining atmosphere that they seemed to be trying to replicate. However, the food was fine dining prices (the cheapest entree, the burger, was $20). We got the impression that the menu changes quite often, but I got the scallops, which were a daily special. Although the scallops themselves were delicious, I received 5 scallops for $34. Additionally, the carrots on top were very undercooked. My mom ordered the Mahi-mahi, which came out cold. Overall, the portion sizes were very small and although the food was good, it was not worth the price. The best part of the meal for me was a berry tart, which was light and fruity. Overall, we were a little disappointed by this experience, but we still enjoyed the meal overall. read more

My cousin used to work under this chef, so while we were in town, the whole crew came to try it out for Sunday brunch. Everything from the coffee to the service was amazing. The biscuits were SO on point - buttery, crispy, flaky, soft inside, everything you'd want in a biscuit. Gravy was to die for. My eggs benedict were perfectly done as well. Tried my nephews shrimp and grits too...great consistency and flavro. Everyone tried something different in the family and everyone was very impressed. Coffee was strong and they also had mimosa's for those wanting a "Sunday funday". I'd definitely come back. Perfect spot to try when in Vero! read more
