I have been to this location dozens of times and this is the first experience that would make me never return. The food was fine even though 4/5 orders were missing something ie: mayo, tzatziki sauce, bacon. Also, how can a Greek restaurant be out of gyro meat?? The food wasn't the real issue. This staff needs supervision. It was a group of young guys who had no clue that they work in food service. The cook was eating as he was plating fries. Several of them were speaking very loudly about calling out & they even had a very exciting visit from a previous employee/dishwasher who was selling jewelry out of the back of his car in the parking lot. One of them kept touching his hair, pulling up his pants that were below his underwear that we could see and also scratching his chest with his shirt lifted up. This same guy was counting his money at the cash register then sneezed multiple times without covering his mouth.. he turned toward the kitchen to sneeze. As we were leaving, a couple of them were roughhousing outside the front door. It's as though they thought they were at a house party. I'm appalled. It's a disaster in there. read more

Came here hungry left satisfied. The restaurant wasn't too busy when I came. Got seated right away and my waitress took down my order. The place is clean and the music isn't too loud, the music was also very soothing. I order an appetizer of hummus and it was great! Then I got my chicken gyro, which was good too. Originally I wanted to get the falafel gyro but was sadly told that they were out. No biggie. The chicken gyro came out huge and it was very tasty. I decided to get a greek salad as my side and I am very glad I did as it was inexpensive of the best salads I have had at a Greek restaurant. We ordered take out this week and the food was phenomenal! Great serving size and wide variety on the menu. We ordered a few plates, gyro wraps, roasted potatoes, and more. The side of the roasted potatoes was phenomenal! Great flavor!! We had no complaints with the entire order, so very pleased! Will definitely be returning. This review is solely based on the service. My wife and I came in on 2/17/2025 to place a to go order. I advised the person taking the order, I believe his name was Brent as the name appeared on my receipt. I advised him there would be 2 separate orders as I was using 2 birthday rewards of $5 each. My wife ordered the famous gyro with no onions. He rang up the item and I told him again I had the $5 reward, so it took him a minute or two to re-ring the item. I placed my order, the same item and told him I'll take my wife's onions on my gyro so make it extra for mine. I also ordered the dolmades. When I got my receipt, I noticed I was charged extra for the onions??? Well, my wife didn't get a discount for no onions, so I told him I wanted her onions on the side! We waited about 15 or so minutes for the food and left the store. I inspected the order when we got to the car and noticed I did not get my salad which was included with what we ordered. My wife got hers. I went back a got the salad. Needless to say I would have been VERY unhappy had I gotten home to find the salad missing!! When we got home, I noticed I only got 5 dolmades in my order. When I looked on the website for ordering prior to going to the restaurant, the picture shows 6 dolmades. I called the store, I believe Brent answered, and I asked him how many come with the item? He said "I think 4 or 5". I told him the picture shows 6....no response from him other than "Is there anything else I can help you with". I told him no. You would think that an employee there would know what and how many an item comes with! The order was $8.95 which I thought was EXTREMELY over priced to get only 5!! Not once did he ever welcome us when we came to the counter and just seemed to have no interaction with customers, just my opinion. read more

I live a good gyro, and having one is a treat. After so many years in Vero, I thought, let me try this place...Disgusting food! The meat was cold, dry, hard as if it were the scraps left from the night before. The lemon potatoes had so much salt to mask the seemingly burnt potato...I may as well have opened a salt shaker and taken a spoonful. They were that bad. Finally, the "Gyro Sandwich"! First, let's call it by its correct name; it's just Gyro, not gyro "sandwich." Cold pita lettuce, tomato, and onion again, a NO GO, and a heaping amount of tzatziki with burnt, dry, hard meat!! It was all tzatziki and a small portion of meat! By no means is this exaggerated, I eat out a lot, and I believe for what we pay, we should get quality, tasteful fresh food! A small restaurant with probably as much outdoor seating as indoor seating. It made it a bit cramped, especially that our table for four was a bit cramped with four people, but ultimately we made it work. I opted for the trio, which consisted of gyro meat, souvlaki (pork), and chicken and for my sides I opted for a greek salad and roasted potatoes. Service was not the best. Not rude or anything, more so I guess inattentive. My drink was never refilled, they never checked on us, as I said, not rude, but we felt forgotten. As for the food, they did give you a lot. I managed to finish my plate, but it was touch and go for a moment and I thought that I would be forced to admit defeat and take a doggie bag home. I finished it, but I don't see myself eating for the rest of the day. It was also good, but honestly nothing great or exceptional. The salad did shine, but the potatoes needed more seasoning. The meats were nothing amazing and the tzatziki was a bit lackluster. They were also out of a lot of items. One person in my party asked for a diet soda and they did not have it. How can this happen? They were also out of hummus and onion rings. This is not good form and, again, how do you not have a diet soda? I enjoyed the company of my lunch and while the food was not terrible, it wasn't great and the poor service and lack of inventory control make me uncertain if I would return. read more

On my first visit to Spiros I had ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken online. I like the way you can customize your salad and add or subtract multiple ingredients. I ordered an extra creamy Greek dressing in hopes that it would be delicious. The salad was huge! 3 large deliciously seasoned grilled chicken pieces on top of fresh salad greens with beets & cucumbers & lots of fresh feta. The dressing was outstanding. Great! So they're definitely not cleaning up after previous guests during this pandemic. The side salad came out quickly (after it took 10 minutes for someone to take our order). Then our entrees. So remember when I ordered roasted potatoes and grilled chicken? The chicken was definitely not grilled. I eat a bodybuilder bro diet, I know when chicken is grilled or not. It was also undercooked. And the potatoes were basically wedge potato fries. FRIES. I don't order fried food. So after my fiancé finished his meal, the appetizer was brought to the table. Nobody asked me why there was a full plate of food still. Finally the waitress comes over and I told her my concerns. She explained that the potatoes are roasted first and then fried. Then she took my entree off the check. Where to begin. We came based in a google rating of 4.7. Not sure where the disconnect is between yelp and google but this was Not 4.7 worthy and rather disappointing. First, their air conditioner was out so it was cooler ( hard to believe but true) to sit outside in 85 degree humidity than inside as it was sweltering! Our server was sweet, running and trying her best BUT she was by herself! How do you staff a restaurant with one server?? I found out later, by a local, that this is a problem for this location. Even she admitted they were short handed. We started with a salad which was not served on a chilled plate and the salad plus dressing (while didn't taste bad) was scary as the dressing was room temp and not cold. We were actually afraid there may be tummy problems later. We split a trio platter which was a generous serving and perfect for sharing. However, the meat was room temp and she forgot our fries and they showed up as we were about done. Either way, while the fries were hot and fresh they tasted as if the oil was not and rancid in flavor. Had high hopes for this as we enjoy Greek food . Did try the falafel, as this was what inspired me to elect dining here: Had a falafel craving. They were tasty but again, served with warm tzatziki... Scary! read more

The moussaka was good, but the red sauce they put on top was not authentic in our experience and change the flavor profile in a negative direction. Stopped by here for lunch the other day. We were warmly greeted and told to sit wherever we like. Our drink order was taken and delivered promptly. I ordered a gyro with greek salad. The salad came very quickly. The dressing has got to be the best I have tasted in a Greek salad. Flavorful and creamy, wow it was delicious. My Gyro came afterwards and it was very tasty for a lamb and beef mixture. It was filled with a lot of meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and creamy titziki sauce. The service too was very good. We saw some desserts in the case on the way out. Gonna have to give them a try next time. read more
