The bike delivery people at this place are horrible. They don't follow any laws. I live in the area, and I am both a pedestrian and a driver and these delivery people on their bikes are a menace to both. I know.... I don't really review chains. But for me to make an exception there has to be something particularly exceptional. This time it was their speed. JJ's is known for being quite fast, but here...(maybe just this time)... it was mind-blowing. I know all subs are made fresh, but I order it special to be sure I'm not just getting someone's identical order that they flaked on two minutes prior. This time I ordered my standard Turkey Tom, but got it with extra sprouts. (I'm a sucker for sprouts on sandwiches.) I handed my card to the cashier, and before she could finish saying "Your order will be up, at the end of the counter." they handed my sub over to me. Fastest Jimmy Johns in the city! No joke! The delivery is so fast it's comical. The delivery guys are funny and they seem to love what they do. I don't work too far from this location so they deliver by bike. The bread has been soft every time! Much better than the diarrhea bread you get at Subway...gross! I can order online. It takes about 10 minutes for my order to arrive once it is placed. The food is pretty good -- not gourmet, but good enough for a place that can put your sandwich together in a hurry. All of the delivery people are super nice and have never let me down. Never quite sure why they allow you to add alfalfa sprouts in your sandwich online but they don't carry it in the store. I've always found that weird. Tuna unwich and vegetarian unwich are my go-to sandwiches. Always a pleasant experience. Ordering for groups is great too but make sure you confirm your order. On a 10+ sandwich order they've once or twice forgot a few of the details but they are more than happy to remedy the situation if you just call them and let them know. read more

The selections of subs are interesting, but I had the Beach Club, which naturally should have Avocado, but for some reason they didnt put any on? What? Weird. Not sure what else to say about this Jimmy Johns that hasn't already been said before, but I still want to show my appreciation by rating it 4 stars. It's one of the fastest, easiest and cheapest places to grab a quick bite for lunch in the area. The menu is simple but solid, the food tastes great and it is ready at lightning speeds even during the busy lunch hours. My #5 Vito sandwich always comes packed with all the Provolone cheese and Genoa salami that I crave all-too-often. Maybe one day I'll even be adventurous and order something else, who knows? Jimmy John's is fast food, but it's better than submay. If I could use one word to describe this place it would Efficient. You walk in, choose from about 14 different sandwiches on your menu, swipe your card and then like magic in about 60 to 90 seconds your sandwich is ready. My personal favorite is the ham and turkey but I have had a lot of items on the menu and they are all good. Did I mention that they are better than subway. read more

Oh my! What can I say about Jimmy John's that hasn't been said a hundred times? Their sandwiches are good, sure, but that's not why I come. The sandwich artists are SPECTACULAR. Very talented and efficient (not to mention pretty - wowzas!) ladies making the sandwiches here. In this man's opinion, getting delivery is a waste of time, despite the tasty selection of sandwiches. Can't recommend the dine-in experience enough!! They're the best! My requests are not always the easiest to handle (because of my diet, I sometimes get sandwiches with minimal toppings, maybe just mayo and onions) but the beautiful bread babes at this JJ's never bat an eye at what some lesser sandwich places (that shall remain nameless) may perceive as weird. BEST subs ever. Fresh bread, high quality ingredients, cleverly designed menu & user friendly website that allows you to order online for pickup or delivery. This location was my first introduction to Jimmy John's and since then, I have kept coming back over and over again for lunch. I love the online ordering system. I work just around the corner at Amazon and during lunchtime, the lines can get pretty long. I love how I can order from the office and have my sandwich ready to go once I get there. Why are 50% of my sandwiches made incorrectly? I order and then by the time I get back to my desk something is missing. or somethings... Sometimes its the mustard, sometimes its the cucumbers. This is my favorite Jimmy John's location. I've been eating Jimmy John's for years but these guys have it dialed in. I'm picky about mayonnaise and hate it when there's too much. I hate it so much that I often order sandwiches without it even though I do like to have some. I have to trust a restaurant to order mayo on a sandwich these days. These guys dropped some samples by my office and the samples had it right so I gave it a try and ordered a sandwich from them a few days later. They nailed it again and every time since. In addition, their buns are always fresh and baked perfectly. Crispy but chewy, just how I like it. I've never set foot in the restaurant because they deliver to my office, usually in under 20 minutes but I'm sure that the quality would be the same if I dined in. Maybe I should give them five stars just based on the quality they maintain. I would definitely give them four and 1/2. Let's say that I'd give them the other 1/2 if they didn't charge for pickles. I could pay twice as much at Tubs or Jersey Mikes and if I wanted gourmet, I'd hit Salumi or Grinders but for a straightforward, good quality sandwich, these guys are my go-to when I'm at work. read more

I think it's the word 'Gourmet' Jimmy John's considers their sandwiches 'gourmet', but I found myself not impressed and doubting their claim. I had the #8 or the 'billy club'. Worst service ever! I work in a secure building and people are always ordering from them and it is always by far the WORST delivery gentleman. They bang their bikes or skateboards in the elevator, common areas and when the security guard tries to escort them again because it is a secure building, they throw a fit. If the food is good I guess it's good but I would not let them into my building. read more

This place is the WORST. The food is gross, the sandwiches are always soggy, even when I don't get any sauces. And the worst part about them are their deliverers. "Gourmet" sandwiches has to be a joke. Consider that their only cheese is provolone, their only lettuce is shredded iceberg, and their only condiment is mayo. Unlike Subway, Quiznos or Speciality's they won't toast your sandwich. And if you're a vegetarian, don't bother. There are technically 2 vegetarian options, but one is just an extra slice of provolone for an extra dollar. Supposedly there's avocado, but finding it in your provolone and iceberg sandwich can be tricky. read more

Jerky customer service/ where are my veggies on my veggie sandwich??? I've never been in any of the Jimmy Johns locations, I've only had delivery from the Westlake location. Been ordering from here for the past 2.5 years, my usual options are- taco del mar, Starbucks or some Japanese place. Many-a-time JJ's was my best option. The sandwiches aren't consistent, I've had fresh white bread, stale-ish old white bread, sometimes they take the inside of the bread out, sometimes they leave it in (I don't request it hollowed), I've also had the wheat bread. Both breads are okay. Half the time I can't see any avocado in the sandwich (even when I pay for extra) the other half the time I find a teaspoon of it at the bottom of the sandwich. The veggies are skimpy even though it's a veggie sandwich but! A few times someone felt generous and seemed to double them! Even though I ask for "free" extra veggies everytime I order. I miss the sprouts too! The past 3-4 months I grew tired of the bread since its not toasted- they refuse to sell the bread separately from an un-wich (which would enable me to toast the bread myself), I have no idea why?! A sandwich and an un-wich cost the same amount of money and adding bread to an un-wich order means I would pay extra for bread. The downside to the un-wich is that although it is a veggie sandwich they fail to fill it with lettuce, they said an un-wich doesn't come with lettuce inside unless requested and even when requested they still fail to add it. $8.50 for a slender roll consisting of a couple slices of tomato, 1 piece of lettuce, a couple slices of cucumber, couple slices of hot pepper, a teaspoon of avocado and a thin slice of cheese--come on!!!! The entire time I've been ordering from them I've really enjoyed the customer service and quick delivery. In the past 5 +/- months the telephone customer service has really gone down, I don't know if the nice people left or if there is new management!!!?? I recently had some rude/bad attitude guy on the phone. The next time i ordered he put me on hold after he took my name and number and someone else came on the line to get my order instead. I'm not ordering from them anymore. The nice people kept me coming back even when the sandwich was so-so most of the time. The delivery people actually looked happy before too, now they look burnt out. I would give 3 stars for the sandwich but the more recent jerky customer service doesn't even deserve one star. I'm gonna take my $8.50 and spend it on a more substantial lunch offering somewhere else, a place with people who care about being nice to their customers. read more
