Fredrico was awesome! There were only 2 gentlemen working that I could see (probably another down in the pit), they were busy, and yet they were super friendly, accommodating, and speedy. My transmission started slipping and I was scared to drive home without checking fluid levels. Fredrico to the rescue. Stopped in mid-day on a Monday and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The whole crew (Federico, Matthew, Sophan and Alex) provided great customer service and took a couple of extra minutes to teach me how to clear the oil change notification and service light that was popping up every time I turned on my car. Now I know for next time! With an online coupon, the oil change was right around $90, which is in-line with what I was paying at a prior service provider. First time doing an oil change for my car and super glad Jiffy Lube was able to get it done fast. Their covid-19 oil change is a 15 minute stay-in-the-car operation and everything is completed at a safe distance. I snagged one of the coupon codes off their website and everything came out to about $90 including taxes. I went to the shop slightly past noon and there was one other car doing a similar oil change. When I was done paying, another car rolled up. All in all not too crowded. I had a team of four(?) work on the car at once. The team also helped check my lights, blinkers and cleaned the windows as part of their service. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks guys read more

Came in for a simple oil change and left with an engine stuck from changing gears and engine problems. Was somehow able to make it back home safely, even though I live on a hill and the car could barely make it up on its own. After around 7-8 calls to the Jiffy Lube location to get an explanation on what happened or for them to offer to look and fix the issue, I've been met with the answering machine every time. 24+ hours later and it feels like they'll never call back. I'd avoid this location as you won't be able to get a hold of anyone if you run into any issues. Hoping this review helps prevent this from happening to someone else. read more

Mao the owner was very friendly answering questions and giving guesstimate pricing. Nice waiting area with drink machine and several chairs. Shop area is very neat and clean for an oil shop. Overall, checking in - looked at filter ( which was clean - reused). Otherwise, another $15. I like the extras of protecting steering wheel, floors and seats with plastic and paper. Also, they washed windows and vacuumed. Used aaa discount. $10 off. Of total $78. Hmm. Where's that $29 coupon ... I'm and out under 20 mins! Fast! She filled my tires and discovered a nail that was in one of them, which made the indicator go off. I very much appreciated her quick and informative help! I used to go to the Jiffy Lube in West Seattle but my most recent experience was less than optimal. Spent over an hour sitting in my car in line while waiting for an oil change (they are evidently drive through only now when on previous visits I could leave my car and do other errands while they got me in for an oil change). Then after an hour in line I was told that they don't have the same oil that I used in my car from past trips and that I could find someplace else to get an oil change or pay nearly $100 for their closest option (which is a regular/synthetic blend). Seems a lot like a bait and switch. Like so much the past few years everything seems to have gotten insanely expensive and customer service has turned into customer abuse. Too bad, it used to be a painless process to get an oil change at one of these places. Now it's not any cheaper than going to my regular mechanic. read more

Front headlight was out and several YouTube videos convinced me I could replace it myself. Bought replacement bulbs online but could not for the life of me get the covers off under the hood. Finally gave in and came here. The service here was SO fast and helpful. They popped them off, threw in my new bulbs, and sent me on my way (free of charge - it really made my day)! Very efficient and friendly people working at this location. I came during the lunch hour at Noon on a weekday and there were three ahead of me. During covid we stay inside the vehicle while they complete the service. Very kind and helpful throughout the whole process. I got a synthetic oil change and wiper blades changed out. I was out of there within 40 min and mind you there were three ppl ahead of me. Thank you to Frederico, Sophan, and Alexander. Not sure if I'm reviewing the company, or the particular store I visited. The company is quick and reliable. Certainly a quick way to get oil change if you're too lazy to do it yourself. Which I'm guilty of. If I'm reviewing the station that changed my oil in downtown Seattle, this is rather unique from other locations. I had to stay in my car the entire time. Sort of ruined my plan on going to grab a cocktail while my oil was changed. They held me captive. And of course then try to sell me every upgrade in the book. That's classic Jiffy Lube procedure. But now, I've been locked in my car, felt a little creepy, there was no escape! read more

Great experience. Went in for an oil change. No wait. Ended up needed a filter and a light bulb which they also fixed immediately. Whole thing took less the 20 minutes. Even vacuumed the inside and cleaned my windows. I worked with Greg and he was extremely nice and helpful. I thought the price for an oil change was higher then if you go outside of the city, but Greg gave me a discount at the end which took $20 off my bill. My car was in desperate need of an oil change and these guys got me in really fast. They explained to me that what my car needs in order for it to run efficiently and it wasn't all too expensive. By far the best experience I've ever had at a Jiffy Lube. I usually avoid JL, to be honest, because every one I've ever been to was insanely pushy about trying to up-sell me. It's really off-putting, because when I'm like, "No, thank you. Please just give me what I asked for, and nothing else," I always get a lot of mumbo jumbo from the sales guy and end up having to repeat myself 500 times. I don't know if it's because I'm a girl, so they think they can convince me there's a bunch of crap wrong with my car when there isn't? Anyway, I wound up at this JL location out of sheer desperation, and was beyond pleasantly surprised. The sales guy actually listened to me, and I didn't have to repeat myself at all. The only additional service he tried to sell me was a coolant refill for $5, because mine was super low. I took him up on that. He also offered me 10% off for no reason whatsoever. I took him up on that, too. To top everything off, I really WAS out of there in a jiffy... 30 mins max. This is a totally superior JL location, IMHO. read more

One of the most convenient places in downtown Seattle to get an oil change while running some errands. I came in earlier this afternoon for an oil change and was in and out in less than 30 minutes! Greg was friendly, professional, and pointed out that my turn signals and headlights had blown out. He was upfront with the costs of the oil change, and lights before proceeding. Service was freakishly fast and I was outta there in less than 30 minutes! They even took the time to wash my windows and vacuum my carpets! Luckily, my car came with free oil changes for life! Unfortunately, that only applies to the dealership where I bought my car... in NJ. Now that I live in Seattle, and a road trip to NJ isn't in my near future, I found Jiffy Lube when my "oil change" light came on. Ok, fine, a week or two after the light came on. It's alright. It's not fantastic. For one, it was a warm day, and they tell you that you have to wait in the waiting room, which is not air conditioned. It was definitely cooler outside. Every time I tried to walk outside they told me again that I had to wait in the waiting room. Just get my info and tell me to be back in ___ minutes, let me go get a cold drink or something. Second, as a young-ish (ok, fine, not quite middle-aged) female, I was a little worried that they would try to sell me on additional products or services. When the time came for them to tell me what I needed, they had my air filters out on the counter and said "These are your air filters, so, um, you can replace them if you want." They looked brand new to me, but what do I know? They certainly didn't look dirty. It was a little weird because they weren't exactly saying I should have them replaced or that they needed to be replaced... I'm not sure what the point was. Then they said "You're out of coolant. That's because you're coolant cap isn't holding pressure. This is your coolant cap." They had a coolant cap out on the counter. Again, it looked fine to me, but I guess if it's not holding pressure that sounds like a bad thing. I know from a previous car that not having coolant can lead to overheating which can lead to a bad situation. I asked how much it would cost to replace it. $4.99 for the coolant, $15 for the cap. Ok, fine, I agreed, replace those. Later, when my car was done, I went and stood by the counter to get my keys, not eager to sit in the hot room any longer, and heard them giving the same speech to another young woman about her coolant and her coolant cap. She replied "I'll take the new coolant, but not the cap, I don't think I need a new cap." As she walked away, I head him say to another worker, "This isn't her coolant cap, this is off a [my model car]." Hmm. So, did she even need coolant? Did I even need anything? Is this just the standard speech? I'm not sure. Overall, the process took about an hour, from the time I pulled in to the time I left. They apologized a few times about the wait and said they were busier than usual. I would've minded less if I could've dropped the car off and come back in an hour. I might come back here, I might not, it was alright and certainly conveniently located, but if I return I will (1) bring some reading or work to do and (2) be a little more skeptical of the add-ons and more likely to only get the basic service. read more
