These guys are great. Came in for an oil change. Left my power steering fluid cap open and it was everywhere in the engine bay. The website needs updating. That's the reason for 4 stars, not 5. I got an oil change. On the mobile site, the Coupons menu expands underneath the menu header below it so that you can't click on "Coupons." On the regular website, there is an option for a regular oil change, but when I got to the store, they only offer synthetic and synthetic blend options ($90+ vs. ~$35), so I did not save money like I was expecting. Do not get service done here Amateur employees that don't even do the checks for you. On top of that they know their policies so well customer service is non existent. "According to my policy you have to go to pay another autobody shop to remove your oil filter on the car because we overtightened it and we can't help you" is what I got told when I came by asking if they could loosen/change out my oil filter because I couldn't do it with my own tools (I'm not an amateur and used this jiffy lube last oil change because I was on a time crunch.) I wouldn't trust people here to work on my vehicle again. Go to the Greenwood and 105th location instead, there are more considerate and knowledgeable employees there. read more

This shop specifically, I've had better experience. It's like they hire the coolest people to work at this location. Nothing but good vibes, I drive out because I prefer dealing with their employees over other locations. My last oil change visit, I was in and out in about 20 minutes. There are several options for oil changes in Ballard but we've always gone to good ol'Jiffy Lube. Came early on Saturday morning ready to go for a walk while we waited. Instead, they asked that we wait in the car while they finished the service. Boy are they fast! It took about 15 minutes for these efficient young folks to complete the service and they were polite and answered any questions we had and got us out the door. I've been going to this particular Jiffy Lube since about 2006 and they have never failed to provide fantastic service. Most recently, they helped me with a headlight replacement. First they had to navigate the horribly difficult headlight settings (hence why I go in for the replacement). They were out of the bulb type and told me which type to order and to return and they would put the light in. I returned with the lights and they changed them for me, again wrestling with my car's terrible headlight casing. No charge and friendly service. Really above and beyond. Every time I've taken my car in for oil changes, flushes, etc. I've had great service. They inform me if things are backing up and service will take longer and they've never tried to add on or up-sell anything. They will mention things to do soon and always apply any discounts going on. Plus, I love their windshield wipers (yeah I know I can install them myself but I'm happy with their work and they last the whole winter)! Fantastic service and a good team. I took my vehicle in for oil change. I happen to go on a day when it wasn't busy. I got a team to help me with oils change. The basic service is a good value. Everything was check that needed checking. Refills of liquids. Oil change service was good and at reasonable price. I would recommend JL at the location for someone with an older car...Newer or modern cars (less than 3 years old) are more complicated with computer systems that require more time and checking. Best to take these type of car to a dealership for services since it is usually under warranty. read more

Their employees are always so kind and helpful with impeccable customer service. I will never get an oil change anywhere else. I had something come off the bottom of my Toyota Prius and called Jiffy Lube (because I wasn't sure who to contact), and their manager (I believe his name was Austin?) told me to come in and that they were happy to check it out for me. I had a really bad experience at this location today. I arrived on a Monday morning, and it was pretty empty. I thought I'd be in and out in no time! That's not how it worked out. When I pulled up, I said I was there for an oil change and they directed me to the waiting room (like usual). I waited for a while and then they called me out to the car and said they were done done. They told me that they'd topped off some of the fluids but I needed to come back soon for an oil change. What? I told them the reason I was there was for an oil change. Then they looked confused. Even though that's pretty much what they do at Jiffy Lube. They apologized and sent me back to the waiting room. I waited some more, and they called me up to the counter to talk through the service options. I told them the kind of oil my car is supposed to get, and they said they were out of stock. This was irritating, because at that point I'd been waiting for a long time. What happened next was much worse though. I said I'd have to go down the street for an oil change, and they told me that they'd already drained the oil from my car. Why on earth would they have drained the oil from my car before confirming they had the oil needed to replace it in stock? Basically at this point if I wanted to drive away, I had no option other than to pay for an oil change with the wrong kind of oil. So to recap, I waited an hour and paid $65 to get the wrong kind of oil put in my car. Now I'll have to go get the oil change redone at another more competent place and pay again. What on earth. Jiffy Lube, if you want to make this right, why don't you restock 10W30 (that's a pretty common type of oil) and offer to redo my oil change--so I actually get what I paid for? And then, to make up for all the time I will have wasted by then, how about crediting me another future oil change? This is no way to run a business. read more

My transmission was slipping, so thought I needed a transmission flush. Jiffy Lube said I needed it and my transmission oil was very dirty. Said it was $330. So I went down to Grease Monkey who showed me my transmission fluid was clean and full. So that will be the last time I go to lying Jiffy Lube. read more

I just received some of the best customer service I have ever experienced ever! Shep was the person helping me and he was so attentive to each and every customer that walked through the door. He would update me throughout the process on what was going on with car, tell me what needed to be done WITHOUT pressuring me to do so, broke down the price completely, and put recommendations on my receipt for my next oil change. I was in and out with a full oil change within 20 minutes and they also vacuumed my car, cleaned my windows, and topped off all of my fluids. While I was there, Shep was cleaning the waiting area, talking/greeting all of his customers, and even walked my partner and I to my car to open our doors. When it comes to National Chains some locations are just better than other locations of the same name. This Jiffy Lube is better than other Jiffy Lubes. When I rolled up I was immediately greeted by a wonderful young lady named Maddie, she asked the right questions, joked with me, showed me where I could wait and got my car right in. I am very specific about the type of full synthetic oil that I like to use in my car and I like to watch it be poured from the bottle (I have been cheated before, reused oil, it happens) when I requested the bottled oil the Manager, Steven, not only happily accommodated my request, he gave me a discount on the bottle service. The guys working on the car did a great job, they let me know that my air filter needed to be changed but that they were out of them. Great location, easy in and out, fast friendly service, good price, job well done. Thank you guys for taking such good care of me and my car!!!! I can't stress enough how happy I was with the job these guys did!!! Professional, happy, friendly, honest, and just damn good at what they do.
