I took my vehicle in for an inspection yesterday, and the amount of time spent waiting was acceptable. This was my 3rd Jiffy Lube that day in a 10 mile stretch, so I was happy that they got me in. 6304 Capital Blvd Raleigh, NC 27616-3048 - They said can't do inspections because they didn't have any stickers. NC no longer issues stickers after inspections, which means this station lied to me, and just didn't want to do the inspection. They told me to drive to Atlantic Ave. 4804 Atlantic Ave Raleigh, NC 27616-1862 - When I got here, there was no wait, and I think there was only one car in the bay at 5:05 PM. The gentleman outside said that the guy that does inspections already left for the day. 3817 Capital Blvd Raleigh, NC 27604-3409 - When I got here I was told that there was a 40 minute wait, which was fine. I left the keys in my car, and my vehicle registration on the dash. When I got back in my car after the inspection I noticed that they wrote, and scribbled on my vehicle registration card. They wrote one mileage, then scribbled it out, then wrote another mileage on it. I am puzzled as to why they felt it was acceptable to do graffiti on another persons property without permission. I am sure you wouldn't like it if I went in the restroom at Jiffy Lube and wrote, "I wuz heer!" To me, it is the same level of vandalism. It is just not acceptable to write on anything that the customer owns, even if they believe they had a legit reason. There are lots of people that like to keep their documents and receipts in good condition. This showed me just how much Jiffy Lube respects me, and my automobile, zero. read more

HUGE shout out to Asia and the team at this Jiffy Lube! I went to another Jiffy Lube location first to get my car inspected. There was no one outside. I went inside and found one man working, but he was asleep in a chair in the waiting room. He woke up, told me their inspection guy had left and he didn't know when he would be back. He advised me to go to the location beside the Super 8 motel. From now on, this is where I'm going whenever I need an inspection. The place was busy with at least 5 people working. I was greeted right away by a woman named Asia. She had her hands full and was trying to finish by 4 so she could leave for an appointment. I totally respected her attitude and would have gone elsewhere, but she said I would be the last inspection of the day. It was a few minutes past 4 when she finished with my car, but I was extremely impressed by her attitude, her effort, and her dedication to her job. Asia, you are a freakin' rock star! Got my oil changed here yesterday and the service ended up being disappointing. While they were timely with getting my vehicle pulled in and starting the work they first didn't install the plug correctly and had to re-do that (no big deal). However they did not replace my oil cap and lost it. I forgot to double check their work in the parking lot and today while driving to work i could smell something burning. I popped my hood and low and behold my oil cap was missing and there was oil sprayed into my engine bay from the missing cap. read more

Always a pleasure to get a quick but efficient oil change. The gentleman at the desk on 9/13/14 was polite and assisted my 3 year old and I to the waiting room. He educated us on types of oil to use and wasn't pushy about choosing a certain type. Also was very polite when I said I would let my husband do the extras like replace the cabin filter. I went here for an oil change and found out months later they didn't tighten my oil plug so I was loosing oil for months now I have to get another oils change soon. They cleaned my driver and passenger areas without asking and I believed they charged my for that also. Never again am I going there for an oil change. read more

I went for a state inspection here the other day. I was the only customer as it was a Sunday early afternoon. There were 4 staff members just standing around. I sat in the waiting area for 7 min and was then told my car was done. When I asked who inspected my brakes they all just looked at each other and then said it was the guy who went to the bathroom. I told them I was concerned because my lady oil change I was told by another place I would need to change them soon and they have been squeaking loudly which one of the guys said he heard. I made them measure them and my brakes were in the red so they shouldn't have passed. The girl then offered to change the pads for $168 per axel. I refused and will never go there again. Do not trust them! I've been to the wake forest location and the one in WF is a million times better. read more

Man, Jiffy Lubes are on point! Thanks go to Ron W for his review which brought me to this one. They met me at my car, walked me inside and up to the counter so they could get my information. I needed to get the oil changed on my GF's car. Seriously, I was in and out before I could write a quick tip, LOL! the cashier had some great pointers and advice for the car. They vacuumed the interior and cleaned the windows and windshield. They addressed me as "sir" which made me feel appreciated. Plus, they give you coupon booklets with good discounts. I got $10 off my oil change service. I have been to other Jiffy Lunes and received the same quality service, so until I stand corrected, they all can get 5 stars from me! read more

Usually get good service. Yesterday I went it was extremely busy, but I know from experience Jiffy lube is first come first serve. We had one car in front of us that they was just getting started on in the middle bay, We decided to leave the car and walk over to the beauty supply store so that by the time we get back we should be nearly done if not completed. Instead we were gone for about 25 min and come back to find they had moved our car and allowed 2 other cars to be serviced before us, so our car is still sitting outside in line to be serviced, unacceptable. .. We left and decided to go over to the Jiffy Lube on Atlantic Ave .. they were empty... they performed an inspection in about 5 min..I thought that was too fast. The service guy came handed us the keys and walked away, we thinking wow what next... we saw the car was outside which means they finished but we had not paid as of yet or was spoken in regards to the service or handed any paperwork. The desk service was poor.. The man at the desk had no clue what was going on. I asked him is the car finished already and he said no, so I said to him why is the car on the outside. ..He then put down his cell phone and begin looking up the service information. Without an immediate apology he gave us the price for the inspection, took the payment and the finally after receiving a puzzled look from us, with a slow and shaking voice apologized SMH.... My jeep was running weird so I took it here to get an oil change. I also wanted to rotate my tired because my front tires looked worn out. They told me that they checked my oil and I did not need an oil change, so it would be a waste of money. They also told me that my tires were fine and did not need to be rotated. I trusted their advice because I don't know much about vehicles and it is their field. My jeep started having issues such as, shutting off while I was driving and saying low oil pressure whenever I turned. I took it to a mechanic and they informed me that I was completely out of oil. They also checked for leaks and I did not have any, so I was super low on oil when I brought it to Jiffy Lube. He also informed me that my front two tires were completely bald, showing the wire threads all around the tires. I trusted the workers at Jiffy Lube and they lied to me. I'm really glad that the mechanic I took it to honestly looked at my vehicle and helped me. read more

I had an oil change and filter replaced today at the Lucor Jiffy Lube Location 3817 Capitol Blvd, Raleigh, NC who purchased Quick 10 Corporation at a cost of $102.35 and was extremely disappointed. I was given a written receipt that they checked several things in connection with my service. I now don't trust that they did anything they stated, as the car owner I knew my wipers needed replacement, rubber hanging and split off the wiper on my rear wiper would be a strong indicator of that, said they checked my wipers and they were fine. I also already knew that my passenger side headlight needed to be replaced, they said they checked my lights and they were fine. My tire pressure light was on and knew one of my tires needed a little air, as I have done it myself, said they checked that and my light was still on, Liam was friendly and helpful and when I expressed my distrust based on his written report, fairly told me that you have to drive the car a short distance, before the light goes out, which I am aware of, I drove home..and the light is still out. I showed Liam the wiper, told him of my headlight and about my tire pressure light, he listened and said he would be happy to fix it, but I told him I would take care of it myself as I no longer believed anything and I know his guy W. Ruffin, the quality inspector did not perform the services as stated. I now don't even trust that the oil was changed, oil filter changed or air filter was replaced. I will never recommend Jiffy Lube for an oil change or trust anything they say. Really sad, how do you mess up a simple oil change. Stay away from Jiffy Lube and go some place that doesn't over charge and lie to their customers. read more
